This new shop is located in an unusual strip of older stores. There's a pawn broker next store. Even so, this should not keep you from stopping by. Inside it is bright and sparkling clean. They have a variety of ice creams. And they offer milk shakes, scoops, waffles, etc. You can see the menu on the wall above the counter. I'd seen their info on Instagram and was following them there. You might wish to do so too as they offered a recent special online. We came here last month for their buy one, get one milk shake. I ordered their classic vanilla shake, and my husband requested their strawberry shake. They come in two sizes, and we got the smaller one. We got them to go. My husband's strawberry was the prettier of the two, with extra strawberry syrup on the bottom and top. But I liked my vanilla shake the best. The ice cream was rich and creamy. Their prices are comparable. And it was a nice "dessert" stop to have after our lunch nearby.

Asked about the mozzarella appetizer. He said their homemade but round not in the form of a stick. Decided on the cheesesteak sandwich with french fries The mozzarella came out. Received five of the along with a wonderful amount of sauce for dipping. The breading was very good and light not greasy. Mozzarella had a nice pull. The sauce was very nicely flavored. Cheesesteak and french fries came out. Flavorful and juicy the meat without being greasy. I put some of the sauce into the cheesesteak sandwich. Crispy french fries They're famous for their version of a TV dinner with different selections. Sometimes it's meatloaf sometimes it Salisbury steak. It comes of course with vegetables and a dessert looking like a TV dinner when they bring it to your table. I'll definitely get that next time I go I've never had deviled eggs and the waiter said that appetizer is very good The restaurant has been around since 1950

Holy Howley's... what did I just eat?!…read more I stumbled into this funky little hidden gem in West Palm Beach and was not prepared for how damn good this place was. Started with the deviled eggs, and right away I knew something was different. Absolutely delicious. Then came the shepherd's pie and this is where Howley's completely threw me. Normally you're expecting that classic shepherd's pie with mashed potatoes over the filling. Nope. These people decided to cover theirs with the creamiest, cheesiest mac & cheese, bake the top until it's golden and crispy, and somehow make the whole thing work PERFECTLY. That combination with the savory filling underneath was absolutely insane. I'm sitting there looking at it like, who the hell thought of this?! But what really makes Howley's special is that it isn't just the food. The atmosphere, the people, the service, the personality of the place everything just works. It's funky, different, creative, unpretentious and feels like one of those places you accidentally discover and immediately want to tell everybody about. Amazing service. Amazing people. Amazing atmosphere. And food that actually surprised the hell out of me. Howley's, you got me. I'll absolutely be back.

My usual place is right up the road but I'm trying to expand my options. Open air seating that overlooks the beach. The water views are amazing. The place was clean. Definitely showing wear and tear from being along the ocean but not terrible. It was hot today - high 90s - and it felt cool. The fans help a lot. You do have to pay for parking in the municipal lot if you don't have a resident decal. It's not too much though. My server was new but very knowledgeable about the menu and specials. She even caught an error with my order before I did! They have an extensive menu with something for everyone. They had a lot of specials on the board too. I decided to try the shrimp club special. It had whole grilled shrimp on sun-dried tomato ciabatta with mixed greens, tomato and bacon. The chipotle aioli was too spicy for me. It was delicious but took away from the sandwich. Obviously it's a personal preference so if you can't handle spice, ask for something else or at least get it on the side. They put a lot on. It made the bread slightly soggy by the end. The tomato was fresh. The greens were wilted from the dressing. The grilled shrimp were cooked perfectly. It was a little different to eat with them being whole but it worked. The ciabatta was very flavorful. I'm not usually a fan but it was soft and really held up to all of the sandwich fillings. The fries were nice and crunchy on the outside. They gave me regular fries instead of sweet potato fries but the server brought out a small plate of sweets for me. If you like sweet potato fries then order these! They were much better than the regular ones. I enjoyed the coleslaw. Perfect portion size and balanced flavors. I tried the key lime pie martini. Definitely not worth it for the price. I didn't get much alcohol out of it. Great presentation though! Oh and I ordered the conch fritters appetizer to go. I wanted to try them but knew I couldn't eat them and my sandwich. You get 6 big fritters. I can see these being super filling before an entree. The conch was tender but they were doughy - a typical fritter. I wish they had cracked conch.....

There was so much to choose from, so how could I not try something savory and sweet? The chupacabra was unbelievably delicious with a fluffy buttery biscuit, some of the best mac and cheese (very cheesy!), hot sauce, and crispy juicy fried chicken. It was like a whole southern meal packaged in a sandwich, but it took me two days to finish (it was huge!). The All hallow's eve was a perfect mix of sweet and savory, starting off with a cinnamon roll biscuit that puts both biscuits and cinnamon rolls to shame, crunchy fried chicken, an egg and bacon. It was delicious with and without the maple syrup. The Biscuit Lady was so accommodating and I love the shop's 365 Halloween theme!
