My boyfriend and I went to this place which I have been to before but this time it was a little different. I got the esquite and the chicharrones con limón. At first I thought the esquites were gonna be like the ones back in LA, SPOILER it wasn't. I could've made that at home. The mayo tasted like the squeezable ones and the cheese tasted like the ones you put on pasta that's in the plastic container. The chicharrones needed more lemon. The nachos were crazy small compared to the picture on the wall. Barely any cheese and super tiny. We paid like $20 in total. Charlie's Happy Corn is in a very unassuming slightly run down looking group of shops, but don't judge a book by its cover! Once you walk in the door it's an explosion of color and delicious smells. I happened to luck out and get there when they were in the middle of fresh squeezing a metric ton of orange juice....the smell was divine! I speak not a lick of Spanish, and the staff was patient and welcoming as I decided on the Mangonada (full spicy they asked...me...yes please) and the Esquites (full spicy? Why not! Large? Ummmmm heck yes please). The mangonada was 10/10 fruity and fresh with a great balance of chamoy and tajin! The corn...well...I have a personal rule...always order the corn! I'm glad I did it was perfectly grilled corn with a complimentary amount of cheese and spice and mayo! Also when you got to the bottom it was not a watery mess! I enjoyed the whole cup! Wayyyyy better than Tacos Al carbon's! While I sat and enjoyed my treats I perused the menu board with its appetizing photos! The Sandia Loca served in a hallowed out watermelon half looked so fun! So did the Pina Loca! There's a Charlie's Happy Corn taco truck out front for those looking for more substantial meals...but for me it would be a while before I'd be ready to try outside there's a good amount inside that warrants a return trip! I found my happy place. It's says it right there in the name Charlie's happy for corn!! When you go here you can't help but feel happy at all the amazing concoctions they create, the vibrant colors and the awesome girls. The place isn't in a desirable area, but it's not the worst and it's safe (which is not the same for some other restaurants of this nature). I had the corn with mayo, cheese and spices ( and I had never had) but wanted to try something new. I'm glad I tried it, but it wasn't my favorite and I should have known because I'm not a fan of mayonnaise. I had the mango slices with their sauce and spices it was so good. I've been doing weekly pick up of these yummy treats. My absolute favorite treat is mangonada. It's always freshly made and you can customize it. I like it how it is with a bit of tart, and spice and sweetness of the mangoes. Also their corn is delicious. As well as ice cones and many more snacks/appetizers. Ordering has been a breeze by placing a order over the phone. They make it ready within 5-10 minutes. Being summer and in Florida their foods are perfect for the weather. Uniquely fun, refreshing, and delicious. So many Mexican desserts to choose from! The milk shakes and smoothies are terrific, papaya, mango, and more. The Mangonada is their best seller. I love the Pins Locas, which is big enough to share. It's cooling, but also slightly spicy. Inside were mango, pineapple, watermelon and more. All the fruit was ripe and juicy. Low expectations and HIGH results. This place has it all. I got tostilocos and a rapasado. The corn was ROASTED and full of flavor... everything I had hoped for and more. It's a Mexican spot that does snacks and desserts only. I got the Tosti locos which was a bag of tostitos chips with all these crazy toppings. Chili, lime, chick peas, pork skin, cucumbers, etc. it was loaded full and I couldn't eat it all. Loved the chips and the cucumber in the lime with the chili but could totally skip the other things next time. However this is something that was totally out of our element and we were glad to have tried it. We got 2 Mexican corn on the cob with all the toppings. I have to say tacos al carbon down the street has better corn. Bae got the mangonada. He couldn't of been happier!!! We'll be back for this!! This establishment has a variety of different snacks that are favorites of Mexico. We ordered on the phone to eliminate the process of waiting. Rabia J had been there a week prior and the wait time was significant due to everything made per order. On the phone, the employee said it will be ready in 10 minutes. By the time we got there, to our delight we did not have to wait. We tried some sweet desserts/drinks. We ordered the mangonada that is bursting with flavor of sweet and spicy mixture. Also, once we picked up the mangonada we ordered the ice cone that was made within a minute. When ordering you can get two flavors in one cone but we opted to get only pineapple and condensed milk drizzle on top. Good place to enjoy some refreshing treats in the hot weather. read more

I was really craving a snow cone and heard this place was the best in Lake Worth. I walked into an eye watering brightly painted building. The place was super clean and the staff was really friendly. It's a great place just to hang out and have a lot of great snacks. Everything is made to order here, so be patient. It's really worth it. There's a lot of fresh fruit and drinks on the menu. There was also a lot of Mexican snacks that I've never had but couldn't wait to try. I decided to get my nachos with cheese and real jalapeno, a raspados which is a snow cone with sweet condensed milk and a mangoyada which a mix of ice cream fresh mangos, peaches, strawberries, and pineapple chunks finished with a chamoy sauce (sweet, savory chill sauce) My taste buds exploded with all the complex flavors going on. Charlie's is a local and authentic 'el helado ' parlor serving their neighbors and friends. The establishment, being very basic and simplistic provides only the necessities required to sit and experience the treat of your choice. Our choice happened to be a chocolate milkshake. The variety of ice cream was somewhat limited, however, as a vanilla, chocolate and strawberry lover the selection was more than adequate. My wife and I have sampled many milkshakes made by a wide range of ice cream parlors, however, Charlies' was the first to incorporate ice cubes in the mixer/blender.
