My husband got the elephant's ear, which he said was light and flaky. We each got bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches, mine on a fabulous, sweet, and large croissant. Oh, so good! The egg was thin and folded, just enough crispy bacon, and a slice of white American cheese. I was a big fan of this sandwich! My husband had his on Cuban bread, and the sandwich was grilled. My best friends, their kids, and I come here for one of the best yet simplest breakfasts that you can find anywhere in town: eggs over easy, perfectly fried potatoes, the crispiest bacon you will ever encounter, buttery Cuban bread, and a cafe con leche. When I tell you that this is the crispiest bacon you will find, I mean, it's a pile of bacon that crumbles in your mouth, is salty and smoky, and yet, teeters on the edge of being too well-done, but it's actually just perfect.
