My wife has wanted to come here for some time now and we finally made it in to enjoy Ocean front dining. We walked along the boardwalk, enjoying the ocean and small beach view. We first noted the Ocean facing bar and then were directed to the seating area. Prompt friendly greeting and drink orders placed. I ordered the Tuna Salad Platter, which was not only delicious but artistically presented! I enjoyed my platter of tuna Salad, fresh fruit, RED RIPE tomato, pita, carrot and celery sticks. Definitely worthy of future return visits!

I've wanted to go here for some time. We'd been to their other place on the west side of the county and everything I'd read about this place, sounded intriguing. We parked in the beach lot and climbed the stairs. We weren't exactly sure where we were going -- as there were no signs saying "restaurant". We found the narrow wooden boardwalk and walked down to the noise of the people. We first saw the bar and their small counter facing the ocean. Then a bit further down the regular entrance to the restaurant itself. There are two basic rooms -- one lower than the other. There are stairs from one up to another and a few more stairs up to the area for the bathrooms. It's not the easiest access. We had a table looking right out at the boardwalk and the ocean. There was a sea breeze. And it was a bit cool until the sun peaked out. The full menu looked appealing. They also had a blackboard of specials. My husband ordered their tuna salad salad. Although my first choices were either a mussel appetizer or a burger, I ordered a BLT sandwich (I spoke recently with Yelp elite Karen N and it's her mom's favorite) and upgraded to sweet potato fries. The salad was beautiful to look at. Colorful and satisfying. A very ripe red tomato stuffed with tuna salad, pita bread wedges, carrots and celery, and and a small bowl of fresh fruit. My sandwich was wonderful. A plethora of bacon, fresh lettuce and ripe tomato with mayo on toast. The sweet potato fries were delicious -- and addictive. This restaurant is unique and enticing -- a ramshackle appearing building perched on the edge of the high dunes with a spectacular ocean view -- and very appetizing food in generous portions. So glad we came. We look forward to returning.

Dune Deck Café is that rare breakfast spot that actually lives up to the hype. Yes, there's usually a line, but it moves fast and it's 100% worth it. And let me be clear: this place is on the beach... not "near" the beach. You're literally hearing the waves, feeling the ocean air, and soaking in the kind of views that make you slow down and enjoy your coffee a little longer. The food is great, and the portions are no joke. My egg and croissant sandwich could've easily fed two people. Service is quick and efficient even when they're slammed, and my cappuccino came with a rock sugar stick, which... honestly, that's the real way to a girl's heart. I noticed some people complaining about the birds but this is what it means to eat beach side. Honestly the birds were adorable :-) If you want a beachside breakfast that feels like a mini vacation, Dune Deck is the move.

My bestie's new place is walking distance to the Lantana Municipal Beach. On a 75 degree Saturday morning, Dune Deck Cafe was slammed packed with a waitlist overflowing onto the boardwalk. Hello, 65 degree Thursday -- and Happy New Year! We came for a Bloody Mary and I tried their gazpacho soup. The Bloody Mary gives you a nice buzz, but could have been a tad more creative with shrimp, sausage, okra, and/or bacon. The gazpacho was delish, it's becoming a rarity to find at a close-by restaurant. Awesome beachside view. This is a relaxing spot to hit up after the beach.

Wow, this place was absolutely phenomenal! The location itself is worth checking out, let alone the food. The views make it one of my favorite breakfast spots. We came here on a Friday morning, so we were seated right away. Our waiter was extremely attentive and friendly. Our food was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. I had the egg, bacon, and cheese croissant sandwich with potatoes. I also just had to get a pancake on the side, and I am so glad I did! My husband ordered the fresh catch sandwich with fries. He said it was awesome and rated the coleslaw as top-notch. We can't wait to come back here! There is plenty of pay to park parking down below and the ramp made it easy to walk up with a stroller. We can't wait to bring our family here too!

Running errands I detoured to The Dune Deck. First, the beer is so cold, your teeth will hurt. Great beer temp. barometer. Breakfast stops at 11:30 during the week, served all day on the weekends. Love their mahi-mahi and other seafood options. Burgers are great too. I love the sound of the waves as I enjoy my meal and views. Prices are great. No co-signer required. They take credit cards now, discounts for cash.

Fish Taco Special with rice and coleslaw

Stopped in for a late breakfast but they switched to lunch already. They had a few things available all day but we opted for lunch instead. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They had a large board of specials which we both ordered from. I went with the two fish tacos and a side of rice and coleslaw. It was very average at best. I was pretty surprised with the quality considering the high reviews and how much the server spoke highly about the menu, especially the specials. It just lacked a little bit of everything in my eyes. The flavor was missing and the toppings on the taco were just not great. The coleslaw didn't seem fresh and the rice was bland. The portion size was very fair for the price paid and it filled me up. Overall, this seems like a place that you go to for the view and atmosphere. I'd try it again just because of the other high reviews because maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. No complaints on the staff or cleanliness.

Awesome mahi mahi grilled with rice and salad! Beautiful views and awesome service by Jessica! 1/2 pound stone crab claws good but only 3 for 30 Dollars not a good value.

If you're looking for a nice oceanfront dining experience that doesn't break the bank, this is your place. The Santorini omelette is delightful and you can design your own omelette easily. The coffee is great, the view is fabulous and the service is right on.

Honestly just came here for the beautiful view but surprised to find the food was equally as amazing. The grilled calamari had amazing flavor. Best I've ever had. Catch of the day was mahi, got it blackened. Big piece of fish and delicious. Fries, salad, and pita bread are yummy. Fish and chips also good and very hot. Portions are huge. Good pricing. Area is covered so it's fine if it is raining. Staff is very nice and food comes out quick.

There is easy parking it's the pay by phone parking then walk up the stairs to the boardwalk and it's right there. There are bathrooms available and a pretty decent food selection. Service was AMAZING our server was CARLOS he has been there for 22 years!!! And he was so helpful and nice all staff was nice. It was a cold and windy day we were greeted with smiles and it was busy but I asked if we could have a view and she said no problem let me find a spot. I said I know it busy so it's fine either way, and she was like absolutely, if I were you if want a view too. So that was very nice to have and we did get a great spot! Now it is semi outdoors it's covered but birds were inside. Not many but some. But worth it for the view. The food was good, their Greek salad looked phenomenal my corn beef hash was good and my parents enjoyed their eggs Benedict, and the dune deck coffee and I had a peach Bellini and they were both amazing. The food was not the highlight here the ambiance, the view and the drinks were the real winners here. Happy helpful staff a decent menu, and a great view. Now the menu says cash only but they accept cards now.

Amazing location at the beach with great views. Open air restaurant with lotsa overhead fans so don't worry it's comfortable. Owner greets you at check in and comes by when your food is served to see how it is. No line at 12-1230 but very busy restaurant. Great menu choices of breakfast and lunch items and they do take credit cards. Lotsa Greek items on the menu based on the owners background and we loved it. I had a huge flavorful veggie egg white omelette and my girl got chicken skewers with a Greek salad and homemade tzatziki. She said it was better than Chris's Taverna. Wow. We'll be back a lot for sure as u can walk the boardwalk after brunch to view the beautiful beach and waves. Friendly service too !

    The view from the bar.

Been searching for corned beef hash, and this was my favorite by far in and around Boynton Beach. The coffee was hot and fresh as well. The view, amazing. People walking along the beach, cute pups in and around the bar. Everyone seemed happy to be there. I will return and watch the sunrise again.

On the whole he did a good job but there were mixed reviews from the group. Let's start with the location....it was a bit hard to find because the building is located behind a Publix shopping plaza. There are a few parking lots around. It's hard to know which door is the entrance. It turns out it's the Red door. It's a small stand alone venue. Very coastal - remember it's basically a fish place. There is a bar that you can eat at or at tables and chairs along the perimeter. This is a fun casual place. Expect to wear a bib and have paper tablecloths. Get your anger out on the shellfish as you hammer the shells off and use your hands in many cases to pull out the fish. All equipment is provided to get the job done. You ARE working for your dinner. One of the neighbors does not eat fish so she was able to get a grilled chicken. Unfortunately, it came out too spicy and she couldn't eat it. Waylon didn't come out to check on us to see if everything went according to expectations. However, to make it up to her, he took it off her check. One of us ordered a beautiful piece of salmon and sides. That was impressive and delicious. I had the PACIFIC CLAMBAKE.. Dungeness Crab, Snow Crab, Shrimp, Corn & Potatoes Admirals. It was a very generous portion. My husband started with French Onion soup and a crab cake. That was a "WOW". All crab - no filler and so delicious. I'll come back to eat that next time. Also I saw a couple of girls eating sushi at the bar and they said it was amazing. It's served on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I would also be very interested in that. None of us had room for dessert. The prices were very fair also. This was a nice change of pace to eat at Riggins. It wasn't overwhelmingly crowded at this time but I know it's crazy on the weekends even for lunch. You should call to make a reservation. And leave your phones home because there's no room for them on the table, and you'll be too busy working to eat your food. lol

We came here for dinner last night and we were seated with a direct ocean view. This is one of the few places that is literally on the beach that you can have dinner. It was around 7 PM so there was shade and cool evening ocean breezes We ordered the whole snapper which was a whopping 2 1/2 pounds and the grouper. The snapper was obviously meant for two people because of the amount of rice and vegetables they included with the snapper. It was excellent. The grouper came in some type of coconut sauce, which was amazing. We were dipping our snapper in the sauce for the grouper. If I was to make any type of recommendation, I would recommend adding a side of this sauce to the snapper and that would just make it a perfect dish I had a watermelon Mojito. The drinks here are ridiculously expensive at $17 a cocktail. And it's not like they come in a huge glass. They come in a regular wine glass. They do say that all the ingredients are natural and nothing is artificial, so maybe it's worth it to pay that much to not have a bunch of junk in your drinks. The service was slow. Although friendly. When we arrived, there was not that many people eating so I was surprised when after 30 minutes we still had not gotten the cocktails. Our waiter said it was because there was only one bartender and he was 15 minutes behind on his orders. I find this pretty amazing that a restaurant like Benny's cannot hire more than one bartender so that the people who come and pay what is not really a moderate amount but pretty expensive for their entrées, but still have to wait 20 minutes to get their drinks. It was only for this that I took off a star. When I order a cocktail, I like it brought out within five minutes and not to drink during my dinner. Dinner was also very slow and we got our entrées about 45 minutes after our order. But all in all, it was an amazing experience and we will be back.

The French dip would, have been nice but the beef was too thick and overcooked and the roll was thick and doughy.
