We've been coming to place but I haven't done a review. We had several dishes and every bite tasted great. Eggs Casino: Their twist on classic Eggs Benedict was fantastic. Perfectly poached eggs, hearty ham, fresh tomato, and that signature sauce really brought it all together. Morning Super Star: Comfort food done right. It came with crispy hash browns smothered in melted cheese, topped with basted eggs, fresh tomatoes, and toast. Hawaiian Omelette: Loaded with sautéed veggies, topped with a rich cheese sauce, and finished with a grilled pineapple garnish. Deliciously unique. Nova Bagel Platter: A classic combo done with fresh, quality ingredients--creamy cheese, ripe tomato, red onion, and just the right touch of capers. Short Stack Pancakes: Fluffy, golden, and just the right amount of sweet. A perfect side or dessert to share at the table. Each plates came with a slice of watermelon and cantaloupe which both are pretty refreshing. Everything came out hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. Service was friendly and fast, even during a busy morning. We'll definitely be back.

I have limited experience at this establishment, but every time I come here for breakfast, they did not disappoint. Good food, good service, and a nice place to have breakfast with friends and family. Very efficient seating and ordering process. Overall, great experience.

2022 4. Raisin Cream Cheese French Toast vs 2025
    Kailey M.

I have been coming here for 25 years and I am deeply disappointed in my most recent visit. The prices have continued to go up (which I understand). But the quality and quantity of the food has dramatically decreased. I recently came back to John gs to get the cream cheese stuffed French toast that has been my go-to order. When they placed my food down on the table I was appalled. The difference is inexcusable. I understand that with covid and the change of management there have been changes here. But they kept up with the size of the food even after they changed owners... that is until today. The photos I included show 2022 vs 2025. Even my photo I took last year looks like the 2022 version. I'm so sad to say that after recommending this place to everyone I know, I don't think I will be returning after being a loyal customer for 25 years.

Eggs Benedict with lox was great. Loved crispy home fries. Why raw onion on it?
    Mary K.

Ok but not great. The service was excellent if borderline unfriendly. Eggs Benedict with lox was great. Loved that the home fries had a crispy crunch in the outside. No idea why they put raw purple onion slices on the home fries though. The fruit served with it was ripe and tasty. The Nutella French toast was just too much Nutella....is that a complaint? But really it was too much. Sounded better than it tasted. The western omelet had big chunks of undercooked veg in it. Just ok. Wish they'd offered a refill for my iced tea. Ok but there's better places although it was efficient and moved fast.

We went over the weekend for lunch. The hostess and waitress were very friendly and accommodating to our group. We dined outside, where the seating was spacious, and the weather was perfect. All of our food arrived timely, and was delicious. I got the sliders, which were very good. Portions were generous, and the food tasted great. Lovely atmosphere and great service.

The many times that I've been here, the food and drink have always hit just right and the service is quick - even when the place is packed. The berry Greek yogurt crepes are tangy, sweet, crunchy, and all together, a great combination of flavors and textures. There are so many berries - enough for each bite. The granola is the perfect juxtaposition to the soft, thin crepes that are filled with a tangy yogurt. The portion size is more than enough for one person, possibly even two. Unless I'm driving, I always start off my meal with one of their cocktails. My two favorites are their piña colada and bloody Mary. They're both tall, strong, and flavorful - perfect while watching to waves crash into the shore. I would also recommend their spanakopita when it's on their specials. Their Greek omelet is delicious too. This is a great place to bring out of town guests, and the great part about this place besides its food and drink is that you can take a leisurely stroll on the beach after breakfast or brunch and make the day extra special!

On the whole he did a good job but there were mixed reviews from the group. Let's start with the location....it was a bit hard to find because the building is located behind a Publix shopping plaza. There are a few parking lots around. It's hard to know which door is the entrance. It turns out it's the Red door. It's a small stand alone venue. Very coastal - remember it's basically a fish place. There is a bar that you can eat at or at tables and chairs along the perimeter. This is a fun casual place. Expect to wear a bib and have paper tablecloths. Get your anger out on the shellfish as you hammer the shells off and use your hands in many cases to pull out the fish. All equipment is provided to get the job done. You ARE working for your dinner. One of the neighbors does not eat fish so she was able to get a grilled chicken. Unfortunately, it came out too spicy and she couldn't eat it. Waylon didn't come out to check on us to see if everything went according to expectations. However, to make it up to her, he took it off her check. One of us ordered a beautiful piece of salmon and sides. That was impressive and delicious. I had the PACIFIC CLAMBAKE.. Dungeness Crab, Snow Crab, Shrimp, Corn & Potatoes Admirals. It was a very generous portion. My husband started with French Onion soup and a crab cake. That was a "WOW". All crab - no filler and so delicious. I'll come back to eat that next time. Also I saw a couple of girls eating sushi at the bar and they said it was amazing. It's served on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I would also be very interested in that. None of us had room for dessert. The prices were very fair also. This was a nice change of pace to eat at Riggins. It wasn't overwhelmingly crowded at this time but I know it's crazy on the weekends even for lunch. You should call to make a reservation. And leave your phones home because there's no room for them on the table, and you'll be too busy working to eat your food. lol

We came here for dinner last night and we were seated with a direct ocean view. This is one of the few places that is literally on the beach that you can have dinner. It was around 7 PM so there was shade and cool evening ocean breezes We ordered the whole snapper which was a whopping 2 1/2 pounds and the grouper. The snapper was obviously meant for two people because of the amount of rice and vegetables they included with the snapper. It was excellent. The grouper came in some type of coconut sauce, which was amazing. We were dipping our snapper in the sauce for the grouper. If I was to make any type of recommendation, I would recommend adding a side of this sauce to the snapper and that would just make it a perfect dish I had a watermelon Mojito. The drinks here are ridiculously expensive at $17 a cocktail. And it's not like they come in a huge glass. They come in a regular wine glass. They do say that all the ingredients are natural and nothing is artificial, so maybe it's worth it to pay that much to not have a bunch of junk in your drinks. The service was slow. Although friendly. When we arrived, there was not that many people eating so I was surprised when after 30 minutes we still had not gotten the cocktails. Our waiter said it was because there was only one bartender and he was 15 minutes behind on his orders. I find this pretty amazing that a restaurant like Benny's cannot hire more than one bartender so that the people who come and pay what is not really a moderate amount but pretty expensive for their entrées, but still have to wait 20 minutes to get their drinks. It was only for this that I took off a star. When I order a cocktail, I like it brought out within five minutes and not to drink during my dinner. Dinner was also very slow and we got our entrées about 45 minutes after our order. But all in all, it was an amazing experience and we will be back.

Topped with pineapple, relish and goat cheese, my taste buds were loving it! A must try drink is the watermelon martini. Made with Tito's vodka and garnished with a juicy slice of watermelon. After dinner we watched the sunset on the pier. Benny's change $1 per person to access their pier but it's so worth it. The pier seemed to be a popular spot for fishing as there were a lot of families casting lines into the ocean. It was a beautiful evening at Benny's.

It was fresh and zesty. The others loved the thanksgiving empanada which was basically an empanada with turkey and cranberry, etc. Tuna poke was also loved. The tallow fries tasty but I liked the regular ones better. But basically everyone loved all the fries. Entrees were just mediocre. The French dip would, have been nice but the beef was too thick and overcooked and the roll was thick and doughy. The cheese shouldn't be on a French dip at all, but even more so when it was congealed and not melted. Skip this one. The tacos were decent though. The snapper was really good but a little overcooked and seriously over salted. No room for dessert. Love the bar because they accommodated a silly pisco sour request with a humorous creative twist!
