We went to Dune Deck's Mimosa Cafe on a Sunday afternoon (after noon) and it was busy! We went for a birthday lunch for Phyllis whose birthday was a couple of days prior. I was hoping that this was a sign that the food was good. We had an approximately 15 minute wait for 4 adults. I ordered the Mediterranean Avocado Toast which was a special on this day. It was very good. It came with eggs, cooked to order, and a cup of fruit. It was all good. I would not hesitate to return here again in the future. The menu is large with a wide array of dishes.

Greek salad with grilled shrimp

The server was very nice and efficient. I got the Greek salad with grilled shrimp. It was a good portion and very fresh came with pita bread. My friend got the savory crêpes which was ham eggs and cheese, and did the up charge for the cheesy hashbrowns instead of the hashbrowns that it came with also came with fruit. She said it was very good as well we sat outside, which was very nice. The only thing was that is dog friendly outside and there were a lot of dogs that were barking at each other, which was loud and distracting but that's just a matter of luck you might get a day where there's no loud dog

Place was pretty packed for a Saturday Brunch. We were welcomes and treated with kindness and seated right away. In speaking with our server, we found out that this is a local, family owned and run business, in fact, our server's brother was helping expedite with mom not far behind, keeping an eye on things. I say this in the best way. She was teaching these kids how to operate this restaurant, serve with kindness, and ensure quality. It was great to see. This place is a local hidden gem with plenty of options for all. BUT FIRST, did I mention they have bottomless mimosas and bellini's? That's right. They are delicious, but I digress. The menu options are great but definitely make sure that you take a look at the on-screen menu at the entrance for the daily specials. My friend had the bacon, egg, tomato, and cheese croissant with home fries and fruit. The bacon was crispy, the tomatoes were fresh, the eggs cooked perfectly, and the croissant nicely toasted. The home fries were spectacularly seasoned and the rest is history. This was a lot of food and more than enough for one. It was delicious! I was having a bit of a sweet tooth and had previewed the menu before getting there. I was determined and excited about the Creme Brule French Toast. By oh boy, this did not dissappoint. It was creamy, yet fluffy and light. I can't even begin to describe this except for saying, " please sir, may I have another?" Between, the service, the libations, the food, and the front door foto op, we had a blast. Nothing felt rushed or disingenuous. Everyone was kind and you could tell they enjoyed being there. Please, go and support this local treasure and fantastic family. You won't be disappointed!

This is my second visit here but for some reason I never wrote a review and kind of glad I hadn't because we had the most amazing waiter everrr, Mr. Thiago, was attentive, made suggestions, frequently checked on us, promptly check us out and sent us on our way! Best waiter I have had in a while and note we dine out weekly! The meal was delicious by the way! Ha! We also had a great Bellini! This place doesn't take reservations and it's always fairly packed but no worries there is plenty of seating inside and out; beautiful scenery! Pets welcome! Enjoy!

Egg platter with bacon, breakfast potatoes and toast

We discovered this restaurant when driving back from South Florida to Jacksonville following a cruise a few years ago. We thought it was really good. We remembered it when we found ourselves in the same situation this past week. Unfortunately, it was not as good as we remembered. The server was really nice and efficient but the food was not great. I had a few Bellinis and had to add ice as they were warm. Strange imo. I had the blueberry pancakes which are a huge portion but they were so dense and dry. The hash brown casserole sounded good but I don't eat meat and it tasted like it was cooked on a surface with meat juice. I also hate onions and it was topped with scallions. No mention of that on the menu. The cheese grits were decent but not great. Hubby had the breakfast platter with eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes and toast. His eggs were overcooked and the potatoes were overcooked and cold. They offer breakfast and lunch and have daily specials. Maybe it was an off day, but they are about 5 miles off the interstate so I doubt we will visit again when cruising down that way.

Seating outside with a Bloody Mary

We went here for lunch as a group of 7 ladies after playing in a nearby tennis tournament. We sat outside (since we were sweaty) and put two tables together. The weather was nice- maybe in the 80's, but with a lot of cloud coverage. The tables have umbrellas over them. I ordered the berry chicken salad ($20). My friend ordered the tuna salad platter, my other friend ordered a Caprese sandwich, another orders the fried chicken and waffle, another the gyro, another the veggie omelet and another ordered the steak. Everyone's food was delicious! The potions are pretty big! The Caprese sandwich was huge! My friend couldn't finish it. My salad was also very big, but I just ate the good stuff (the chicken and berries). The dressing came on the side. There were strawberries (fresh), raspberries (fresh), and blackberries (not fresh). I enjoyed the salad though. Everyone enjoyed their food. A few of us got a Bloody Mary or Mimosa. We were able to get separate checks. Mine was only $21 before tip because I only drank water. The prices are very reasonable. We did have to wait a while for the check to come, so I went to ask for it. But it was Sunday brunch. And it did start raining on us a bit before we left (but that's the risk you take when eating outside in Florida.) I would definitely go back again if I'm in that area.

Cafe Royale by Zac, yummmm the best in South Florida,, thank you Zac !!!!

Best breakfast restaurant in south florida, best wait staff, Kevin, Macey, Thiago, Raul, well everyone, if I could eat breakfast there every day I would, from the steak and eggs, ( ribeye or filet ) to the egg benedict, wow everything is delicious, they even make the best cuban sandwich this side of miami, cant forget ms Libby, Zach one of the mgr's, Man and the mimosas WOW, family owned and operated, trust me, give them a try and you will be back, like I said " if its Dune Deck its gotta be good"

If you want a reliable, local breakfast or brunch joint in Boynton, this is a solid pick. It's not the ocean-view, "sit-on-the-dunes" experience you get at the Lantana Dune Deck, but the food is good, portions are generous, the vibe is warm with excellent service.

What an adorable place! It was constantly busy and for good reason. The food was absolutely delicious. For as crowed as it was, the wait was short and sweet. Our server, Macie, was wonderful and extremely helpful. Her recommendations were outstanding. I'd highly recommend, and fully plan on going back soon!

Last Tuesday morning I had a Dr's appointment in Delray Beach. We left really early with Freckles because our dog sitter was sick. After the appointment we picked up my sister-in-law and went out for breakfast. She took us to Dune Deck's Mimosa Cafe because there was outside seating and we could bring Freckles. We all had delicious Omelets that were so large and came with potatoes and a bagel. I always say I should share or take home half. Each one had two really big slices of cantaloupe and honeydew. The Omelets look like they were made with 4 eggs! It was so pleasant to sit outside under an umbrella and enjoy a wonderful meal together!

Croissant Egg Sandwich

Went on New Year's Day for brunch thinking we may have to wait a bit but we were seated immediately outside. Hostess and servers were very nice and accommodating. Drinks and food were delicious. Definitely will go back.

Large and yummy mimosas!

We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to look over the menu before ordering. We started with the Steak Tartare, served with beer-battered smoked onion petals, truffle, egg yolk, and manchego. It was excellent and one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the Za'atar Roasted Local Vegetables with spicy greens, feta tzatziki, lime pickles, and pepitas. It was good, but it wasn't my favorite dish. For our entrées, one person ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese with pork and beef ragu, housemade raw milk ricotta, and Parmigiano-Reggiano. It was rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Jerk Local Swordfish from Fort Lauderdale with braised Swiss chard, local radish escovitch, and jackfruit miso beurre blanc. While the swordfish itself was cooked well, I wasn't a fan of the jerk seasoning. The flounder, however, was outstanding and probably my favorite entrée. To drink, I had the Les Fumées Blanches Orange Sauvignon Blanc, which I really enjoyed. Someone else had an Old Fashioned. For dessert, we shared the Affogato with mascarpone ice cream, dark chocolate, and espresso, and it was a perfect ending to the meal. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and we appreciated being able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. It is on the pricey side, but that's fairly typical for a farm-to-table restaurant using quality ingredients. There's a small parking lot behind the restaurant, and we were lucky enough to grab a spot. Overall, it's a fun place for a date night or a nice dinner with family. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. Or if you want, they have a great bar and you can hang out there and have a bite.

We arrived just ahead of the morning rush and snagged a booth; within about ten minutes, the place had completely filled up. The layout includes booths, tables, and a wraparound bar seating area -- small, but with plenty of room. Our waitress was friendly and quickly brought us coffee and water while we looked over the menu. We both went with the French toast combo. My friend ordered her eggs over easy and requested a side of plain toast to go with them; I got scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns alongside two slices of French toast. The food itself was tasty -- nothing overcooked or greasy. Here's where things went sideways. The side of toast never arrived, and our waitress never came back to check on us. We had to flag down another server to ask about it and get drink refills. That server was also friendly, but the toast still didn't come. Someone else eventually dropped off our check, and we had to ask for the $3.99 toast charge to be removed from the bill. When we went to pay, we wanted to split the check between two cards -- something we had requested at the very beginning -- but the person at the register didn't know how to do it. The food was genuinely good, and I'll give them grace since it was a busy Saturday morning. But between the forgotten order, the lack of table presence, and the payment confusion, the service left a lot to be desired. I would give them another try, just not rushing to do so.
