If I could give zero I would. i wanted to try something new, what a waste of time and disappointment. My husband ordered steak and eggs, and when we received the food, the steak had no taste. We kindly asked the waitress ( since it was our first visit) Is this how the steak usually tastes, there is not any seasoning on it. She walked away and I assumed got the owner/manager. She came over and asked if there was a problem and she stated that they have an older crowd so they use less seasoning, and then got upset at us because we were voicing our concern. She then proceeded to take the plate of food, my plate as well, which I was still eating.. and walked away. I was shocked, how do you just take someone's plate of food away. Omg. This place was amazing. Rebecca was amazing everything was just perfect. She had the best customer service I've ever had at any restaurant including 5 star restaurant and fine dining. She talks to you makes sure you're set and okay and always checks on you. The place was clean, quiet, and was beautiful. 10/10 definitely would recommend. Our first time here was a good experience. They were a bit busy, but we were still able to be sat right away. It was decorated like an old diner and had lots of fun signs and decor around. I was randomly in the Burlington Shopping Center, and got a bit hungry so I decided to stop by this diner that I've always seen but I've never entered. I went around 12 PM and upon entering there were no customers inside. I was greeted by a friendly server named Tami. I first started off with a Sprite and ice. The sprite tasted a bit different than a usual sprite, but I'm not exactly sure why. The drink tasted more like a lemon lime drink, but it was safe. The menu did vary with southern foods. They had breakfast and lunch available, but I decided to go with a tuna melt sandwich with cheddar cheese. The sandwich came with crinkle cut fries and I decided to order three tomato slices on the side which cost $1. My server was very friendly we also had a small chat during my stay! The food came out really quickly since I was the only one there. Overall the sandwich was a 10 out of 10! I have never had a tuna melt before and this definitely made me fall in love. I would definitely visit again with a family member or by myself and try the grilled cheese next time. Since I definitely enjoyed the toasty white bread!! My bill came out to $13.32. I'm not sure if that's pricey or not for all the items I ordered, but overall everything was delicious. read more

Clean as a whistle, Frannie's restaurant is a Royal Palm Beach/ Wellington neighborhood gem! Home cooking is sure to please for either breakfast or lunch. Their menu offers a wide range of options and our server Tami was both friendly and timely. Both sandwich platters we ordered were cooked just right and really tasted great and a good match to the prices charged. The restaurant has been there for years, but not livening in the area for a long time, it used to operate as The Hollywood Cafe if my memory serve me correctly. Some of the decor including the booths, remain as it was but the restaurant has been updated to have more of a country feeling to it rather than the old Hollywood memorabilia that once adorned the restaurant. If you are in the area and tired of eating at chain restaurants, I recommend you give Frannie's a try - I think you'll also like it too! read more

5 stars for Frannie's!! We are always looking for breakfast places in the area. I came here years ago when it was celebrity diner- now it is Frannie's with a country kitchen type of feel. The service is great and very welcoming. The food comes out very quickly, providing a diner like experience. All the breakfast staples you could hope for on the menu. It is also very affordable. Again small business for the win. This is an unassuming restaurant in a strip mall. My parents and I were looking for a simple breakfast place but found this amazing place instead . First it was clean and inviting. The staff were friendly, held conversation and had a great sense of humor. Nice menu with lots of options. Then the food came.....YUMMY!!! I have mixed reviews for this place, it's not near a one star but it's somewhere between a 2 and 3. When you first walk in you can sit where you would like. It took around 10 minutes for them to take our initial drink order. The decor is out dated, and inside each booth seat are pictures of their dishes which don't always seem out of this world. Some major things that stick out is "one free refill" on your coffee. Sharing a dish is a $3.00 charge. Some dishes are created by the chef with "no modifications". Seems a little steep for being paying customers. They checked in only 1 time to see if we needed anything. I can't say this place is on my list of restaurants to try again. read more

Back in the day, the restaurant used to be located off of Southern Boulevard by the fairgrounds. When the owner decided to hand the reins over, it was moved to the Village Shoppes plaza off of Southern and 441. The mom and pop place is cozy and has great comfort food. You can order breakfast or lunch and it's open until 2 p.m. every day except for Sunday, which is until 1. I went for the Monte Cristo sandwich and it was loaded with turkey, ham, and Swiss between two French toasts topped with powdered sugar and a side of crinkle cut fries. Plus, the maple syrup was a nice touch to dip the sandwich in. My son loved his grilled cheese sandwich and potato chips for his kid's meal. If I had room to order more, I would have since there were several items that caught my eye. The diner is cute and has a lot of knick knacks to look at while you're waiting for your food. It was a little higher than expected, but nothing to go crazy over. It could easily seat about 50 people inside and I'm sure it gets busy there in the mornings. In short my experiences here have been good. It's small and has the old time diner feel. Food is fresh and made to order. I usually eat breakfast here. It's not too fancy and our usual server is extremely nice. I noticed some low reviews. I wouldn't question those experiences but I this place is worth trying if your in the area. I'm here a couple of times a week. Everyone is super nice and the food is constantly very good. Plenty of seating for a small place.

Went there this morning for a late breakfast (10:00). It was half full, sat down, waited 7 or 8 minutes before even seeing a server. I could see people at the tables waiting for food or more coffee or to pay. Finally a waitress came out, gave us a menu, didn't say anything, walked away to deliver food. There was a crying child in the booth behind us...all bad vibes. We left and the server came outside as we got to our car and yelled "Do you want to order?" Ridiculous. I can get a better and less expensive breakfast at McDonald's! read more

The food is good but the service is so bad it won't be worth it. I've been coming to this place in the mornings on Saturday and Sunday. The server when I first started visiting was very nice and helpful. I enjoyed the food and the experience. However, recently the server changed to an older short woman that acts like she belongs serving in a bar not a breakfast place. She is very rough, doesn't say hi and when you walk in she makes you wait after you sit down, to make matters worse, when another customer walked in she took them before me. If I hadn't said something I'd still be waiting to be served. I guess it's good this happened because it forced me to find a better place to eat breakfast in the morning. If the place starts to decline an it's not due to the food. I hope that the owner will see how if service is bad his hard work will be worthless.
