This was a better experience for my husband than for me. Service was good and friendly. Although it did take a while for us to receive our food. And quite a while for us to get our check, as the waitress was involved with a long conversation with some folks a few tables over from us and it was hard to get her attention. We came for lunch as we were going to a couple other stores in this plaza. We've been here many times over the years as it was a place my mom used to come with her friends; however, we hadn't been here recently. Breakfast is served all day and is really what I should have ordered. But I'd eaten a big breakfast and was craving a more lunch-like meal. I had their chicken Caesar wrap without the croutons. The sandwich was okay with pieces of white meat chicken, lettuce, and dressing. When I picked it up, it fell apart on the plate. I didn't mind, as I got to choose what of the mix I wanted to eat. The well-done crinkle cut fries were okay as well. It wasn't that it was bad, just that it wasn't anything special. I think I just ordered wrong. My husband's country breakfast had eggs, biscuits, and gravy. He liked his meal. I tried their gravy as it's usually one of my weaknesses, but didn't care for it. In any case, I would still order a breakfast for lunch next time we come. Prices are very reasonable here. You order and eat at your table, but you pay up front at the cashier as you leave. They also have a number of cakes, cookies, and muffins from which to choose on the way out. We brought home a slice of red velvet cake which was quite good and less expensive than what you'd pay for a slice anywhere -- including the Publix a couple doors down. It tasted homemade with its sweet cream cheese frosting. As it's a convenient stop when nearby, I'm sure we will be here again.

This place has been around for over 32 years. A steadfast anchor of the Riverbridge plaza. Billed as the "Happy Place", it has a large of breakfast items, combos and sandwiches. The food is good and the servers are pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed my Country Special, which had 2 eggs, biscuit and sausage gravy and a side of home fries. They tempt you with some enticing and delicious pastries as you wait to pay. Most patrons left (including us) with their sweet treats in hand.

Arrived and seated at 11:40am Table next to where I was seated had customers seated at 12:05pm and waited on before me! I said something to the server and she said I'll be there shortly. Didn't wait around for her to get "there"!

So excited to try petes place wish we had found it sooner! Everything delicious I was dying to try the keylime stuffed French toast but thought it would be too much like dessert. Next time! The stuffed pig definitely lived up to its name. The breakfast sandwich was delicious!!!! Local family run business they definitely do it right!!!!! This was a breakfast like we would expect to find in the mountains. Friendly people and great food!!!!!

Food: 5/5 Service:5/5 Ambiance:5/5 The last time that I came to this establishment it was over two years ago. The food that I had two years ago was absolutely delicious and I'm happy to say that they kept up with their freshness and food delivery. I came in here mid week in the morning to grab some breakfast. There was IHOP in this plaza, but I decided to revisit, and I was satisfied!!! I ordered the catfish meal that came with scrambled eggs and home fries and I also had an omelette with pancakes. Everything was so delicious. Everything was made fresh and with two tomatoes on the side.... I cannot complain!!!Yes, it's a small interior but the food made this experience worth it. This is my first time dining in by the way, I am glad that I got the first hand experience of how breakfast is ran on the inside. Overall, I definitely will be back again and I'm taking more people with me. Everyone has to experience this! kudos to the staff that was there. They made this experience seamless!!

The steak was super tender and eggs, again, cooked perfectly. 3) BLTA salad was super refreshing 4) Chicken + waffle -- it was okay. There's extra vegetables in the dishes. The macaroni salad was to die for. The herbs were right on. The peas and rice were so tasty. I had to hold back from eating more and filling up. Complementary fried plantains were added to the order. The jerk chicken was incredibly tender and there was spicy sauce on the side, added to the chicken. We had not eaten oxtails before. Go figure! They were so Tender and falling off the bone. The sauce was excellent with added carrots and butter beans. So good. Can't wait to go back and try other dishes they offer. Ambience: Again, it's more of a carryout restaurant, but the restaurant itself is very clean and inviting. The kind of full where your laptop starts looking optional. I was overworked, overfed, and ready to slam my laptop shut and resume life Monday morning. The food was so good and so filling that I didn't even eat dinner that night. I had a cup of tea and went straight to bed--peacefully and without regret. All jokes aside, the food is excellent. It used to be a French restaurant for about 20 years and then kept changing hands with different types of cuisine. I am really hoping that is one of those restaurants that will make it. Our dinner experience here tonight was extremely pleasant. This is a huge restaurant with three rooms and a bar. There's a choice of about seven entrées and several salads and appetizers. We were a party of three and decided to try Pomona because we've never eaten there before. To start out with, I have got to give a shout out to our waiter Liam. I'm a senior citizen and I've eaten all over the world in many restaurants of every size and reputation, but I have never had a waiter as good as Liam. Even in Michelin five star restaurants in Europe . He was extremely pleasant, courteous, personable and ensured that we had a memorable dining experience. Let's face it. The food can be extraordinary, but if the weight staff sucks, then the experience is horrible. On the other hand of food could be mediocre, but if the service is outstanding, then you might overlook the mediocrity . It was the little things our waiter did like in between the appetizers and the salads and the main meal he came and gave us new napkins and changed all of our silverware. I have not even seen this in five star restaurants. He checked up on us frequently, which is something that waiters rarely do in any restaurant nowadays -- they usually take your order and that's the last you'll see of them until it's time for the check. But Liam checked on us frequently and make sure we had water and whatever we needed. Both my husband and I ordered the herb encrusted grouper. It was literally melt in your mouth grouper with some type of sauce that was made in heaven. The presentation was over orzo. I also had a Caesar salad. The third member of our party had the vodka penne. She loves Italian food and she said it was delicious. The portions were so huge that we had to take some home. Everyone in our party also had a Moscow Mule. For the quality of the food and the service this place was very reasonable --a party of three with cocktails, dinner, appetizers, and salad came to $155 before tax and tip. We will definitely return. And here is hoping that Pomona will last because we need a restaurant like this in downtown Lake Worth.
