    Grilled Chicken Breast

Wow! Doordashed this to my hotel on a whim for dinner and unexpectedly received the best chicken of my life! The veggies were cooked so perfectly as well, the brussel sprouts were amazing, and would probably get double instead of broccoli next time. The blackened chicken was so flavorful and the portion was huge! Will probably be ordering again during my time here.

Place has been around for awhile and with one cook and grill,it classifies as a greasy spoon. I really liked the home fries with onions and my bacon breakfast sandwich. Dad though did not think the famous waffle was anything famous.

I'm glad to be back my second time trying other menu items at Howley's. It was a busy afternoon lunch shift on Saturday. I have to give some kudos to our waitress who was juggling a full restaurant being double sat and in the weeds, her team came and helped her by taking our order and she came back to check on us. Service was fantastic 5/5. My husband and I both got the fish and chips. The cod batter was flavorless & fish was dry. But we enjoyed the sweet potato fries. His bowl of matzoh ball soup was by far the BEST we've ever had in palm beach county! And we've tried a few. Overall, I would say I would come back again and maybe try something else on their menu not the fish and chips. Food 3.5/5

I had a great experience here today. I'm at up with a colleague who lived locally and said despite the many choices we absolutely positively had to eat at Howley's Restaurant. My history of reviews shows a penchant and tendency for American fair and diners ; not only was I not disappointed, but my expectations were high and this place exceeded them. We were graded when we came in sat instantly and enjoyed delicious food at a fantastic price . I opted for steak and eggs with a side of fruit. Our waitress was awesome from start to finish and checked up on us regularly. It was busy inside the restaurant, but at no point even after finishing did we feel rushed to end our conversation and go, which is a pleasant surprise of a difference compared to other places that want to turn and burn and get you out of there. We sat at a part table, part booth section that allowed for a lot of natural light. I now know why he was adamant about this place and I would love to come back. Next chance I get.

More of a 3.5 star review for Howley's. I really want to love this place but each time I've been here, some things were done well and others not so much. Last time it was the fish and chips, this time it was the matzo ball soup. It was so salty. Couldn't finish the broth. Was not this salty the previous time I ordered it. My wife had the brisket strew and I had the shepherd pie. Both were great. Service is always great. Staff is always friendly. It's a bit of dive bar, diner vibe which we like. Parking available in the back.

Perfect old school diner vibes, and great diner food. I ordered an egg salad sandwich with crispy onion rings and a cream soda. The sandwich was great and super filling, left me half to eat the next day. The cream soda had real sugar cane, the whole meal was an absolute treat to eat. Can't wait to come back and try even more from their menu!

Always a treat to find a diner which gives "classic diner vibes". Vintage posters on the wall, 90's alternative rock playing ambiently, good service and a varied menu. Brittney was a very friendly and thorough server. Started with a flavorful artichoke dip which came with cake-like toast for dipping. Always hard to find a fish Reuben - but they had redfish which was a nice change up! The onion rings were a nice touch as substitution - which isn't an extra charge. Lots of other items looked delicious so will have to return to try them!

We dined here on Friday morning after getting off a cruise in Fort Lauderdale and heading home to Jacksonville. Let me start by saying we are frequent cruisers and make this drive often. We use GPS navigation but we always want to make sure we aren't going 20-30 minutes off the interstate to dine. Believe it or not many calls over the years with no answers, the hostess have to ask? However, Meghan answered my question with confidence and she was spot on! Once we arrived, we also had the pleasure of her being our sever. She is great! Friendly, accommodating, and really attentive. This place is so cool! A diner that has been in the same location for over 50 years! Be prepared as the portions are big! We had the blueberry pancakes, breakfast potatoes, cheese grits and a breakfast platter with eggs, bacon and toast. I also had a Bloody Mary and a Bellini. Everything was delicious! Hubby and I said this will be our go to spot on mornings we are making that trip. Check them out and I'm sure you will agree.

9pm dinner run. Glad I remembered howleys was open late. It was pretty busy for the time of night. I had the French dip and my guest had the turkey dinner. Both were great. I opted for Mac and cheese for up charge. My guest said the old fashion was made great. Service was attentive. Its an old fashion diner with a pretty big menu.

The TV dinner was great concept and tasty dish!

This Diner has been around forever and has some good bones. Inside has been updated and expanded with nice decor and artwork. This place has lots of character and charm. All day breakfast! I came for lunch with coworkers. Everyone enjoyed their meal and service. The TV Dinner was a hit. It does vary day by day with no substitutions. Plenty of parking in the back. Come for lunch, come on the weekend and have a late breakfast. Definitely a place you will come back to for multiple occasions!

I got a box of 6 pastries for the family. When I tell you everything is made from scratch and your taste buds can tell, I mean it. Here's the lineup: passion fruit kouign-amann - give her the 10s. This was hands down the best pastry we got. It has a nice caramelized crust (like a croissant) that balances the passion fruit filling's slight tartness. Seriously, try it. orange olive oil cake (loaf) - ok, the candied orange on top is DELISH. The loaf is moist, not too sweet, and the orange zest really gives it a flavor close to a loaf I had in Santorini! Vanilla bean custard: tastes like a pastel de nata- an excellent one at that. This filling is silky, creamy, and dreamy custard. Carrot cake croissant: this is like taking a bite into the fall season. Great croissant, and the filling is literal carrot cake with cream cheese icing. The spice profile is so warm and cozy. Raspberry hibiscus vegan bundt - I loved that you could really taste the floral note with the raspberry. I can't believe it's vegan! It is just as soft as the olive oil cake. Raspberry cheesecake danish: It's good. The raspberry jam is clearly made fresh (peep the seeds in it), cream cheese layer pairs well with the jam. But it falls short relative to the other pastries in the box.

We were warmly greeted on entering. They were pretty busy the whole time we were there. You can tell they get a lot of "regulars". The menu is large: lots of breakfast and lunch options. He got gravy on the side. I'm guessing he liked it as there was not a crumb left on his plate when done. I ordered the chicken pot pie from the daily specials board. It wasn't as expected, but quite good. The top "crust" of the "pie" (served in a long oval dish) was a few layers of filo dough. Underneath were a lot of nice chunks of white meat chicken, peas, and other veggies. All in a cream of chicken like sauce that was very good. Forgot to mention that the pot pie came with a cup of soup. There were three choices and I got the Greek lemon soup. It needed an extra squeeze of lemon and a dash of salt, but it was decent. For dessert, we wanted to try their coconut cake, but they were out. (They close at 3). We settled for sharing a slice of some warm apple pie with whipped cream on the side. The pie was good. Breakfast specials look great. And there are a lot of other lunch items I'd like to try here as well. This is a keeper.
