Consistently, great food, great portions, great service, and reasonable pricing for the fifteen years I've ve been dining here. It definitely reminds me of a diner up north, but, with a little more of a homey feeling. The staff definitely helps makes you feel that way. You can't go wrong with breakfast. We had a big group with us, and they sat us right away. Don't worry. If you're dining solo, there is a small counter to sit at. Breakfast was great as always and definitely a good value.

Casual breakfast/lunch mom and pop type diner. Good food in a timely manner for the price. Nothing exceptional about the food or service.

Decided to pass time here while my car was across the street at tires plus. I got the wham bam slam. 2 pancakes, 2 sausage, 2 bacon and 2 eggs. Definitely a good value for the price. I did add chocolate chips and it was I think almost $3 more for the chocolate chips. Not sure if that's worth it. The pancakes were good but they kinda just dumped the chocolate chips in the middle of the pancakes and not throughout. Then they put a handful on top. They would be much better if more of the pancakes had chocolate chips throughout. Other than that everything was great. They have real coffee creamer not that coffemate stuff. The waitress was nice. I did forget my punch card so they punched a new one. The lady at checkout says you can use them together. It does seem to get busy. By the time I left there was a wait.

This was probably the biggest salad I've ever had. Overall, all our meals were yummy. Nice appt for a quick brunch or lunch. Sat outdoors as the weather was so nice. Service was timely.

Another spot I go to only if I wake up early enough to get there before the crowds. Good, reliable breakfast/diner-type food. Great portions and service is pretty reliable with that family-owned establishment vibe where you can tell the servers have been there a while, and they like it just fine. I've only been for breakfast, and I love sitting outside on the sidewalk. The inside dining room is a bit awkward in its layout, and it can get loud. Pretty much anything you order on the massive breakfast menu will be prepared well, and quickly and it will taste good. Nothing is really gonna knock your socks off here. But I do love the biscuits and gravy. They give great big portions, too. On the weekend, make sure to beat the crowds by arriving super early.

This place always seems busy so we've been wanting to try it for a while. We went for brunch and were able to get seated. The food is pretty cheap and comes in pretty large portions. I wouldn't come back to visit. The food was alright but nothing special. We did feel kinda of rushed from the wait staff, we got there at 1 PM and they close at 2 PM.

If you're hungry and want some good food check out Pete's. I had the fried green tomatoes Benedict and it was awesome.

"We took a chance!" - Visited last Sunday - I think we were in Okeechobee - Because that what I heard her say when they were answering the phones. Place was filled with some "Serious Eaters" - an Eclectic Crowd! - Please was hoping busy and so we decided to sit out the counter - which was surprisingly comfortably. Waitress Girls are incredibly "Sassy" - Polite and Friendly and they sure as heck get your order write the first time. Lot of noise coming from that kitchen, but I can sure tell you one thing - the food that was coming from that kitchen was simply delicious home style southern cooking. Short order of pancakes was amazing! Place is busy with is further testament to how high quality the food they are pumping out of this place. My local friend tells me that they have a number of locations. Andrea and I will be back to this one. Really enjoyed the great food and service! Coffee was delicious! Overall a "Friendly Bunch" in the restaurant! We will be back! Great work and thank you! Great value! - Food was reasonably priced! Thank you guys!

Western Pampas - Short rib blend Smash Burger

In this small strip center you will find some really great Smash Burger creations!…read moreI had the Short rib blend burger (my perception was 90% short rib blended with 10% ground beef). With the provolone cheese, grilled onions, pickle and aoli sauce, this burger was a two handed 10 napkin delicious challenge. It came with fries and a soda. Great food reasonably priced!

It's in the middle of a small strip of stores. Inside the restaurant, there are several booths and a counter. We had good service. The food is cooked to order and came out piping hot. As they're Argentinian, I knew I wanted to get some sort of meat/beef here. I chose a steak sandwich and my husband had one of their burger combos. The steak sandwich came on an oblong crusty bread roll that was heated and pressed. It had green peppers, sliced tomatoes, and cheese along with the meat on it. It usually has onions and a bit of mayo, but I left both off. It was good, but my husband's burger was even better. His smash burger was made with short rib and he said he could taste the difference. Along with the meat, there were onions, provolone cheese, and garlic aioli. It was messy but very tasty. For his combo side, he got French fries. They were okay -- not my favorites. We did get to try their cheesy bread while waiting for our sandwiches and it was delicious. I might have him upgrade to this as a side next time. They carry Coke products. We were happy with our sodas. If you're looking for an exceptional burger and are in the area, stop here. You won't be disappointed.

We were seated promptly which was great since most sport bars are packed to the brim. I got a skinny margarita but I believe it was a regular margarita since it was super sweet but they also brought out some delicious chips and multiple salads (including green and spicy.) they never refilled our water which was not great due to the high amount of sodium in the food. The food was pretty good overall for the price and quantity of it but I would say torreros up the road has much better food at similar prices. They had a mariachi band playing during the game which would've been nice except I wanted the sound on for the game. Then our waitress came over before the game was finished to ask us to pay the bill so she can finish her shift which I thought was extremely rude and disrespectful. I don't think I'll be back here again. Also they charged us twice for a diet Coke but the menu said free refills so another upsetting incident. Definitely check out La Fonda or torreros which is nearby in the area instead.

Kosher Chobee - Felafel combo app

The four stars are for the food. Portions were large and quite good…read more The restaurant is located on the north side of Okeechobee Blvd. It is just down from the Goodwill store. Inside is small. There are tables outside on the sidewalk as well. We came for lunch. We were checking out the place for some friends who are kosher and planned on visiting the area. They don't have a separate lunch menu -- just an "all day" menu at the moment. They also have an electronic menu to see pictures of some of the dishes. This is helpful as the written descriptions may not give you all the details. We both ordered appetizers and took more than half our meals home. Each dish was more than large enough to share. I got their hummus royale appetizer with mushrooms. You can also get it plain or with beef. The hummus filled a bowl with the sautéed mushrooms in the center. There was some tahini on one side of the hummus and a few whole chickpeas scattered on top. There was a sprinkling of parsley and olive oil. And a couple lemon wedges. A separate dish contained soft pita cut into wedges. My husband got the felafel combo appetizer. The plate had 5 fried felafel balls, some hummus, some babbaghanoush, some whole chickpeas, and some Israeli salad. There were pita bread triangles, too. Now that I know that portions are large enough to share, I'd come back to try some of their meat dishes. Kosher meat is quite expensive now and that is reflected in their prices. Just a note: taxes and a tip is already included in your bill. And they do tell you that.

I feel like I would be irresponsible if I didn't share my thoughts about my kosher chobee…read moreexperience today. The service was very friendly and the restaurant is clean and neatly decorated. It's a comfortable dining room and there was ample parking. However, if you are looking for a D E L I C A T E S S E N experience, there are plenty of those in Palm Beach County. This is a kosher restaurant and that's where the similarity to a delicatessen end. I ordered a pastrami sandwich and a couple of things need to be pointed out. First of all, the pastrami was very thick cut slices and on the "firm" side (as opposed to "melt in your mouth") This texture made it impossible to take a bite of the sandwich without pulling great big rubbery strips of pastrami out that I needed to somehow bite off and push back into the sandwich. Which brings me to my next observation.... THE SECOND I picked up the sandwich to take a bite, the bread fell completely apart in my hands!! The server happened to notice that I was struggling to handle this mess and she insisted on having them "fix it". A short while later, she returned to the table with a plate that had fresh fries, and apparently a new sandwich. I picked it up and the bread fell apart again, so I gave up and used a knife and fork. The chef came out and asked how my meal was going and I told him I had some suggestions which he said he wanted to hear. I told him that good bread that doesn't fall apart would be a great place to start. He admitted he was using some bread from some supplier he named (rather than a bakery), and that "yes, the sandwiches fall apart" ‍(wth) Why would you continue to use bread that you know falls apart? One other thing about the pastrami.... Not only was it tough and thick cut.. it also had almost no flavor. *big sad emoji* Kosher Chobee? More like Kosher No bee.
