This is my goto place for strong Cuban coffee in Greenacres. The staff here are very friendly and attentive. One thing that I find interesting is that they have chandelier in the a bakery it's really nice to look at but it seems a little out of place. A great place for coffee and sweet treats.

First time here very excited what a wonderful place

What a wonderful find thru friends. We walked in and I said wow! The bakery alone is a work of art! Absolutely amazing and could not decide what to eat so we ordered quite a few different items. A great atmosphere and friendly staff that made it worth the visit. From a steak sandwich to eggs and coffee it was sooooo delicious! Can't wait to try more items and go back!

It's great to have an authentic Cuban Bakery right here in Greenacres! Growing up in Hialeah, my tastes and cravings were shaped by Cuban cuisine. A bright and shiny interior with friendly staff and a number system to facilitate ordering during rushes. Lots of goodies to choose from... I chose my standard Guava and Cheese pastry with a Colada, (small cup of concentrated coffee). Both were delicious! Lots of people enjoying Cuban sandwiches, piled high with ham, pork and cheese slices on traditional Cuban bread and pressed nice and toasty. YUM!

This franchise/chain just recently opened here. Started in Miami with over a dozen of mainly Dade County locations, they are expanding. I think this is the second location in Palm Beach County. The location was a former sub shop. It's located on the east side of Jog Road just north of Melaleuca Lane (S 6th). There's parking around the building. We had driven by, saw the "now open" sign and decided to stop in and check them out. We'd had lunch, so we decided to try something for dessert. It's called a bakery, but it's pretty much a little bit of everything Cuban. Different coffees, breakfast, sandwiches, bowls, pastries, cakes, desserts, juices, plus they do catering and party platters. We were surprised to see they were quite busy on a Monday afternoon. We took a number from the machine and waited to be called. Meanwhile, we browsed the pastry cases to decide what we wanted to have. My husband got a guava and cream cheese pastelito pastry. It was so flaky. He said it was very good. And he got a small coffee to go with it. I got a slice of carrot cake. It was so cutely decorated with a mini carrot on top. The carrot cake was moist and the white icing on top and between the layers perfectly sweet. I saved half for a later treat. We look forward to trying their Cuban breakfasts or even a media noche sandwich. They are a welcome addition to the area.

This just opened and I was excited. I pass by everyday going to work. Well today was the day. I wanted to bring some treats into the office. The place is new, clean well stocked with what looks like yummy pastries, cakes, sandwiches and my beloved coffee They have a sign that tells you to take a number, which i did. Well none of this took place After 2 customers ordered and received their goods. I was left standing there. There were 5 people by the coffee machine 2 making sandwiches 3 or 4 others standing around NOT ONE PERSON ACKNOWLEDGED ME. Not..we will be right with you..nothing! Everyone spoke Spanish so I wounder if due to the fact I did not look like I spoke Spanish Noone helped me. After about 3- minutes I left empty handed. Shame for a new business Good luck if you go there the items did look good but I will never know. I would not go back

    Caramel cake.

Oh my geeee! I have heard about Pinecrest from other people and how great it is. This location is right in the middle of Greenacres and foresee it doing very well. It was busy when we went in on a Saturday evening. There is a menu of pastries, sandwiches, beverages, cakes, and other goodness. The cakes looked scrumptious and I'm sure you can special order one by request. We got a variety of pastries to try there and bring home. Everything is very good! The guava pastry is one of my favorites. The staff assisted us and packaged our items in sealed boxes. I'm already planning to go get some Thanksgiving treats and other visits in the future for a quick Cuban or sweet fix.

Lovely stop for Cuban delicacy treats such as pasties, cakes, sandwiches and side servings for party platters and stand alone. Learned recently that you can purchase for party catering as well . Enjoyed a croqueta ham with a cafe con leche iced and it made me smile enthusiastically at the company of a friend who enjoyed the bites and sips. At the counter service is quick and you can order for take out or even drive thru at this location. The space is either packed or passing through I have seen it many times full house through parking lot, was happy we came on a lighter day and could sit calmly . Sweet staff , quick and patient enough to discuss options on how to order variation of coffee mixtures. Loved it!

You order and pay online. Walk in and pick up your order. Even if you order in store they are fast friendly and efficient. Food tastes fresh and fantastic.

    Loyal customer, Transactions proof

Been coming here since opened, staff was friendly at first but the night staffs attitude went south fast. Placed an Order for a bowl one night , 10 mins later they started making the food, fine whatever, and later they informed me they had no rice, and it would take 35 mins? So to them my only option was to take the sandwich version of it, I asked for some kind of compensation for the inconvenience and was denied, not even the cheapest pastry, even for a customer that comes as often as me?. Keep in mind the order was placed 10 mins ago so I should have been have the food and left. Most places I go to on a regular bases (daily) take care of me very well, but for this company , especially being brand new, I'm shocked the way I've been treated lately.. this place at this rate may soon have the reputation of tacos al carbon, if you're from Lw, you know how bad that can be...

Los dulces más ricos de West Palm Beach . La atención muy amables las muchachas especialmente Melany . Muy recomendable .

Amazing lunch. We shared the huge Super Cubano-so flavorful-and then sampled two desserts; chocolate cake with mousse and passion fruit.

Staff was welcoming and I cozied right up at the bar to wait for my friend. I was immediately brought chips and salsa and a cold beer. We ended up sitting at a high top and our waitress suggested that I try either carne asada from the Mexican menu or Vaca Frita from the Cuban menu. I love me some carne asada but I was intrigued but this 'fried shredded beef' that was marinated in mole and cooked in a hot skillet until crispy. She suggested sweet plantains to go with it and white rice with beans which is traditional Cuban (instead of yellow rice). IT WAS FABULOUS! It was crispy on the outside and juicy. The mole was flavorful but not spicy and i appreciated that the meat was not dripping in sauce. My dinner date ordered chicken tamales which were seasoned in a Cuban style with yellow rice. She is used to Mexican tamales but said these really hit the spot! The only blemish on the nice was her second margarita which was the cucumber one which she didn't like at all. However, the first one she ordered (pictured) which was a different flavor was a show stopper.

I asked for the steak medium, but part of it came out rare -- not even medium rare. The bright spots were the ambiance and the empanadas, which were very good. Unfortunately, the wait staff was pretty horrendous and seemed to go MIA on us for most of the meal. I asked for part of my steak to be put back on the grill, but more than 20 minutes later nothing came back. At that point I figured they had simply forgotten about it. Ironically, the piece of steak I sent back finally showed up right when I had to ask the manager for the bill and told him the waitress had gone missing. And that She never brought the steak back. I was really hoping for a great experience given the restaurant's rating above 4 stars, but it definitely didn't live up to that. The service was absolutely poor. More like a 1.5 is what I rate it.

The colorful décor and nostalgic touches throughout the dining room create a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels more like sharing a meal with family than dining out. We shared the Bandeja La Casa del Mofongo con Tostones, loaded with chicharrón de puerco, chicharrón de pollo, masitas de cerdo, salami, and queso. At $22.99, the portion was incredibly generous and easily large enough to share. Curious and hungry, we decided to check it out. The restaurant is located in a small shopping plaza, and I have to admit, the dark tinted windows made the place seem a little questionable at first glance. I actually got out of the car to peek inside before committing. Once I saw several people dining and enjoying themselves, we decided to give it a shot. Inside, the restaurant was tastefully decorated with a charming Dominican countryside flair. Even the bathrooms had a playful sense of humor that added character to the place. Service started off promptly, and we were seated right away with menus in hand. However, while browsing the menu, I quickly realized that despite the restaurant's name, there were very limited Puerto Rican options aside from the different varieties of mofongo. The menu was overwhelmingly Dominican cuisine, which was a bit disappointing since we specifically came looking for Puerto Rican dishes. We ordered the empanada de cangrejo to start, which was flavorful and freshly made. We also shared the mofongo with masitas fritas, and I will say the food itself was well seasoned, hearty, and satisfying. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food. Our waitress lacked warmth and wasn't particularly attentive. What stood out the most was that she didn't know what sorullos or alcapurrias were, which caught me completely off guard considering we were searching for Puerto Rican cuisine. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the experience didn't fully meet our expectations. If you're looking for Dominican-style mofongo dishes, you may enjoy it. But if you're specifically craving traditional Puerto Rican cuisine, this may not quite hit the mark.
