Wow this place was amazing!! Super tiny, but the pastries are incredible. Just the scent inside the place alone is amazing lol. My mom and I ordered the jelly donut, cardamom bun, and butterfly cookie, Everything tasted amazing, perfect amount of sweetness. Staff was very friendly too! I will definitely be coming back

Swedish Princess cake for the uninitiated !!!!

Mike the server was incredibly helpful had a beautiful open faced sandwich a gorgeous croissant a cup of coffee and a Diet Coke for 21 bucks can't beat that. Plus I sat outside on a beautiful Friday afternoon. I miss polar bakery but I found out that Mike's dad used to work at Polar bakery and many of the goods are the same even though they're Finnish and polar Scandinavian Swedish. they also make to order Swedish Princessbirthday cakes they are the best. no it's not a cake shape like Elsa or a fairytale Disney princess it's a cake that was made for the actual princess of Sweden that is covered with a green marzipan it's a yellow cake with a lingonberry filling it is to die for and it's the birthday cake I've requested every year even though I'm neither Swedish nor a Princess

Yes, yes, yes! Why go anywhere else. Fabulous food, bread, Scandinavian cuisine and great service. I visit whenever I am in town. Get the rice patties if you can. A cultural favorite. Bakery is great too!

I had company in town and wanted to treat them to some local baked goods one morning. I had read about the cinnamon-sugar-cardamom donuts they have here but they usually sell out early in the morning. I stopped by and found 2 left, which I promptly purchased. I picked out some other items as well. There was a tray of assorted goods sitting on top of the display case and when I asked what they were, the kind employee told me that they were day old items and half off. I promptly picked out a couple of things from this tray, including a loaf of what turned out to be sweet bread, braided with almonds on top and raisins inside. Found it a bit frustrating not to have a sign about the day-old items. I can't recall if signage was anywhere else but that is pretty normal for bakeries. The donuts were definitely tasty and a bit different, but it wasn't my favorite cardamom flavor combo. While the cinnamon sugar provided a nice crunch to the donut, it didn't seem to be very donut-like besides the shape. Very heavy tasting to me and not my cup of tea, but definitely different and worth a try. The other items I purchased were beautiful and made a lovely bakery gift box. Service was fast and simple.

This place is small but mighty!! Stopped in here in a whim and glad I did. It did not disappoint. The service, the food and the coffee were AMAZING! The sweetest woman was behind the counter taking orders and getting everything together. Will definitely be back to try some more of what they have to offer. There are so many things to choose from. The coffee is some of the best I've had recently. The meat pie is delicious, the smoked salmon sandwich hit the spot and the raspberry & cheese danish was an absolute treat!!

Not only do they use syrups, but they also use unique toppers and milk options!!!! One of my favorite drinks is the banana latte which uses banana milk and is topped with dried bananas. It is unreal and doesn't compare to any coffee I have had anywhere! I came here to try their cherry latte to add a little pink to my February and was a happy camper! Their drinks burst with flavor without being overwhelmingly sweet. I appreciate how well crafted they are!! This location isn't one I would visit if you're looking to sit and enjoy your coffee. It's on the smaller side and only has two very tiny tables out front, however , the coffee and snacks are just as delicious as the one on the Ave! The staff members are also incredibly friendly and made this an overall excellent experience. If you're looking for an excellent, unique coffee paired with a fresh bakery item run to The Seed!!!!!

All the details from the decor to seating was gorgeous. This was our first time visiting and we were a bit overstimulated by the menu. The guy that attended us was very nice. We also ordered a cinnamon roll cookie that literally is like eating a cinnamon roll. It even had a soft center which i loved. My best friend got a guava and cheese croissant. She said it was good but weird at the same time because it was cheese in one side and guava on the other. My son got a chocolate croissant and absolutely devoured it. The many times that I've been here, the food and drink have always hit just right and the service is quick - even when the place is packed. The berry Greek yogurt crepes are tangy, sweet, crunchy, and all together, a great combination of flavors and textures. There are so many berries - enough for each bite. The granola is the perfect juxtaposition to the soft, thin crepes that are filled with a tangy yogurt. The portion size is more than enough for one person, possibly even two. Unless I'm driving, I always start off my meal with one of their cocktails. My two favorites are their piña colada and bloody Mary. They're both tall, strong, and flavorful - perfect while watching to waves crash into the shore. I would also recommend their spanakopita when it's on their specials. Their Greek omelet is delicious too. This is a great place to bring out of town guests, and the great part about this place besides its food and drink is that you can take a leisurely stroll on the beach after breakfast or brunch and make the day extra special!

We learned about the restaurant being named for her mom (No, it doesn't mean gold). The restaurant faces the south side of the street in a strip next to the smoke shop. Parking is in a lot a couple doors west. Look for the umbrella table outside. The street numbers jump from 500 to 426 in one storefront. Inside, it's charmingly decorated. The dates on the walls refer to different relatives birth years. We started with drinks. I got an iced decaf coffee. I had my choice of 3 milks. He had an iced chai latte. He said it didn't need any added sugar. Both were very good. For food, I ordered their burger. It was cooked to temp as requested. The patty topped with lettuce, tomato and cheese. It was good. Alongside came crispy chips and a small bowl of their special (addictive) Le Dor sauce -- a mix of cheese and burger jus. My husband had their chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. The salad had nice chunks of chicken along with raisins, avocado, spicy mayo (just a touch of a kick), and lettuce. There were grapes and an orange, too, on the plate. He said it was wonderful. The menu is small, but prepared to look good as well as taste delicious. They offer special pasta nights. Call for info and reservations for these events. We were too full, but the almond croissants and other pastries looked appealing. Ask what they have when you drop by. We hope we can return soon.
