There are plenty of pizza places in South Florida, but Danny's keeps me coming back because they do more than just pizza well. On this visit, we ordered half white half margarita pizza, wings, and chicken piccata, and everything was fantastic. The white pizza was perfectly prepared --crispy, thin crust with a balance of creamy ricotta, gooey mozzarella, garlic, and seasoning. Every bite was rich without being heavy. The wings were hot, crispy, and meaty, with just the right amount of sauce. The real surprise was the chicken piccata. The chicken was tender, and the buttery lemon-caper tasted freshly made. It was every bit as good as what you'd expect from a dedicated Italian restaurant with great ambience. The service was excellent, and the food arrived promptly, with generous portions. Whether you're stopping in for a slice or sitting down for a full Italian dinner, Danny's Pizza is well worth the visit. read more

This place is truly a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is small, with just a few tables inside and additional seating outside, giving it a cozy, intimate feel. It was also very clean, which is always a plus. The pizza was outstanding. We couldn't decide on just one, so we ordered a half-and-half pizza, and it was the perfect choice. Every bite was packed with flavor. The white pizza with ricotta was especially delicious, and the crust was perfectly crispy while still sturdy enough to hold all the toppings. We also ordered the wings, and they were just as impressive. They tasted fresh, and the sauce had the perfect amount of spice without being overwhelming. Overall, we had a great experience. For having the amount of take out pizza places in the area this is not one of the best. We got pepperoni and white slices. For the pepperoni, it was missing something in the sauce. It was a very bland sauce and not in a nice "how mama used to make" kind of way. The white had zero flavor... the ricotta was liquidy and the crust was so dry that it did not work. Small, spotless pizza place that does a brisk business of take out and some single/two person sit down for people who work in this plaza or were shopping. I'd give less than one star if the system would let me; this has been our experience: We had to call and let the business know that they lacked on their pizza, being that the first time the crust was extremely burnt and the second time the pizza came without cheese and about an inch all around the crust had absolutely no toppings. At least the first time they brought another pizza and let us keep the burnt one but the second time, they came and delivered the second pizza and took the bad one back - are they going to eat it or throw it away?! I hate to say it but this business is not about quality nor customer service anymore. My family and I used to LOVE this place. We won't be ordering from them anymore. Either new management or new cooks - this ain't it. Hope this place goes back to their old service where it was competitive and distinguishable from other pizza restaurants. Been eating Danny's for years. I decided to try the new "extraordinary" pizza place next to the Whole Foods that opened in west boynton. I just ate that (more expensive and less tasty) pizza and I'm on the way to Danny's to get some real pizza, because I'm still hungry. read more

We just got pizza dough from this restaurant. We paid $4 for dough that was supposed to make an 18" pizza. We got 4 sets and it made a lot of pizza and the dough was obviously fresh and very tasty. We did not eat any of their made pizza but the dough was excellent. Way better than getting pizza crust from the grocery store and probably cheaper as well. read more

First and last time ordering from this pizza joint. Super overpriced, dry and bland. Waited over an hour for cold sad pizza delivery, they remake it and delivered 30 minutes and still taste the same crap. Don't recommend to waste your$$ very disappointed. read more

Based on other reviews, we picked up our orders (twice). They were ready as promised, no wait. The large salads with a pizza were enough for 3 of us. The pizza is one of the best we've had in Florida. The calzone, not so much. My family liked it, but I thought the crust was too greasy. Warning: Read the small print; the Margherita Pizza has no sauce! Next time we want pizza, we will be ordering it from Danny's. read more

Danny's served what might be the worst pizza I have tried in South Florida and that says a lot. Danny's is bad pizza, real bad and is an affront to NYC pizza. It's located way out west and I regret trying it. I'm from the Bronx and when I walked into the shop it was nice to see a Bronx photo (161st) prominently displayed and I thought this might be authentic NYC pizza but it was as antithetical to NYC pizza as you can get. Instead of serving a thin, crispy pie with a prominent olive oil base this tasted like poorly prepped junk food pizza that uses low quality ingredients and it shows because we had to ditch the pizza. I made the mistake of getting a Sicilian Pie also and this was just like eating white bread with some cheese and sauce thrown on top. The ingredients and the prep of the dough are not like that served in The Bronx but are more in sync with West Boynton. read more

Slice of NYC in Boynton Beach. Great pizza, friendly service, at a fair price. Inside is clean, though the ambience could use a bit more finish. Not much in the way of character except for one wall. Love the NY Subway sign! I'd recommend they get a similar sign made for outside the store. Currently just says "Pizza". Still doesn't detract from the pros. Would recommend. read more

I received a menu in the mail and I saw that they offer free delivery within a 5 mile radius which I think is awesome. I was in the area so I actually picked this pizza up myself. I ordered the buffalo chicken pizza the way it came. It was OK. I love buffalo chicken pizza but I would not order it again here. What I did not like: 1. The chicken was not breaded. I am guessing if I specified and asked for breaded chicken they would have given it to me so maybe that was my fault but usually the default chicken for a buffalo chicken pizza is breaded so I did not think about it. 2. They add bacon to the pizza (which is disclosed on the menu). I personally LOVE bacon so I thought "Wow okay, maybe bacon will make this pizza way better" but boy was I wrong. The bacon flavor just does not go well with the buffalo chicken flavor. Again, I could have asked for it without it, so not the end of the world. 3. The pizza was very greasy. My thinking is maybe thats because of the bacon? Either way, the greasy nature was not appetizing. What I did like: 1. The crust was pretty tasty. 2. I think it was around $20 for a large which is very fair. I am definitely going to go back and try Danny's Pizza Express but I will try a more traditional pepperoni pizza or something. I really hope after I try a different pie there that I can upgrade my review to a 4 or 5 stars. read more

The quality at Danny's Express has gone consistently downward. The pizza sauce is way too sweet. Driver left my pizza on the ground next to my door. I called and complained. I had to fight with them on the phone for 10 minutes until they agreed to send another one. This time I waited outside.I asked the driver, who was no young kid, probably in his 40's, why he didn't ring my bell and he said it "looked old". read more

Was recommended by a friend... found it to be just alright. Wasn't a fan of the food especially the Sicilian pizza. Wings aren't very meaty and I left feeling disappointed. Prices are not that cheap for what you get and the employees aren't very friendly either. Found employees without masks on in kitchen area as well and pulled down off face. read more

I have ordered from both locations. I am just in love with the pizza, and for some reason the left overs seem to taste even better the next day! I ordered delivery, the staff is polite on the phone, the delivery person is respectful, Friendly and gets to my house in a reasonable time. Awesome pizza and salad and even nicer mgmt! I walked in 30 minutes after closing after a long day at the hospital, and despite the fact they were completely closed up for the nite, they warmed me two slices of delicious pizza and made a great Greek salad, and didn't want to accept payment! Could it have been more delicious or generous. Amazing to find this kind of quality food and good hearted customer service, it truly saved me tonite. read more

The last time I will go there. I had gone 4 other times and didn't think i needed to check the pizza. It appeared they dropped it and hoped I didn't check. It was so soupy, all the toppings slide into the corner and the back crust had been bent up the back of the box. When I went back they said it wasn't their problem and were very rude. No customer service and totally dishonest about what happened. read more

Located on Federal Hwy & NE 14th street in a cozy corner with shaded picnic tables and plenty of parking space. My go to pies are La Americana and the Maradona. The ingredients are always fresh, the dough is fluffy and airy on the outside, thin in the center with light sauce and plenty of toppings! They are to die for! Another favorite is the classic Margherita; which they have on HH from 5-6pm at a discounted price. Besides pizza they offer a variety of soft drinks and sparkling water. Plus you can bring your own wine ;) The staff is incredibly friendly, and the owner is one of the most welcoming people you'll ever meet. He's always smiling and stays super engaged with customers, even posting updates online. I actually follow their Instagram just to keep up with what they're doing next. Highly recommend this spot. I ordered a chicken pita sandwich with no tomato and no cheese (normally has American cheese and Swiss cheese). I started to eat from the top and was about 1/3 of the way done when I noticed it had cheese still (which I cannot eat due to extreme dairy sensitivity). I went back to the counter and asked if I could get a different kits without cheese. The owner was at the counter and immediately took the sandwich from me and had the chef remake it. I was a bit surprised that it was going to be remade when a new pita would have made me happy. Well I got a new meal and dig in again. My husband had pizza leftover so he took it to his sister's house as she just moved into a new condo in Boynton Beach. Her and her BFF took one look at the pizza and dove in. They enjoyed it so much that she ordered three pizzas for her condo-warming party! Folks really enjoyed it!
