We had lunch yesterday and you'd swear we were in the Midwest with Shelly's hospitality!!! She made us feel welcomed as she delt out the laughs to us!!! The food was amazing!! We had the Italian Beef -- chefs kiss! Amazing! We had the traditional Chicago hot dog with ALL the fixings!! Plus a large sausage pizza!!! (Forgot to take a pic) All the food was hot, delicious and made with love!! Thank you Shelly and family! We will be back soon!!!

Well, I guess you can tell I'm not from Chicago. I thought this was going to be a deep dish experience. Glancing too quickly at the photos might lead you to believe that as well. No, this is thin pizza served in a unique dish that allows the baking of the crust to be perfect. The Windy City Sausage - Loaded with cheese & sausage; a Chicago favorite! - was amazing. I just wish I did not live so far away! Service is quick and simple as the place is not that large. Maybe a half dozen tables inside and when you walk in you feel like you left Florida and entered Illinois. I will be back whenever I am close enough again!

While vacationing and it was National Pizza Day, I was so happy to find authentic Chicago style pizza. They are so authentic that it's actually tavern style! We were able to get a real Italian Beef which melted in our mouths like it's suppose to. My taste buds were so happy to go here and celebrate. We enjoyed having a convo with the owner as well.

Not sure how or why someone would give this place a bad review. First, the waitress who's name I didn't get was *chefs kiss* amazing and made me feel like I was at home. Second, I felt transported back to Chicago in a dive restaurant ordering pizza , what could be better? Third, the food is awesome. Tavern style pizza and sold chicken wings. Yes yes yes

Excellent crust, proper cheese and a sauce with a touch of sweet. About as close to Chgo pizza as you're going to find in FL. The staff is friendly too which is a plus. Oh and a nice lunch special on the 11" and a soda. I'll be back for sure

A WONDERFUL family-owned establishment in downtown Delray Beach, just a block from the Delray Beach Tennis Center. Windy City Pizza has been serving up Chicago delicacies to the Delray Bech community for some 25 years. The family is lovely and service is wonderful. While a New York Slice will always hold a special place in my heart, I genuinely like most varieties of pizza. But that is not to say that all pizza is 'good'. Happy to say that Windy City makes an incredible Chicago thin-crust. My go-to is the Windy City Sausage, and they certainly do not skimp out on the sausage! You cannot purchase pizza by the slice here, but I dare you to order a thin crust and not finish it (okay, you may need another person, but it is totally doable). I would be remiss not to mention their Italian Beef sandwich. I hadn't had one of these in years, and this reminded me why I really want to get back to Chicago one of these days. Lots of very thinly sliced top round that is soaked in au jus and then topped with giardiniera and sweet green peppers. It is a 10 - 20 napkin endeavor, but nothing wrong with that!

I get your rules, I respect your rules, but to charge me $6 for a side of mushrooms since you wouldn't put them on half, is outrageous. The waitress was nice enough but didn't seem like she wanted to be bothered with working. My kids are annoying, I get it, but you can still be nice to them. DISAPPOINTING PIZZA…read more.. A 3am pizza parlor in a perfect trendy location near Atlantic Ave in Delray Beach. Bright red illuminated "Mama's Up All Night" name proudly affixed to the front exterior wall. Relaxed front patio table seating but mainly a grab & go custom pizza concept offering slices. A few little red tables inside hugging a massive chalk board with childish chalk drawings and words as a part of the simple ambiance. The front counter displayed several sicilian and NY style pizzas loaded with mouthwatering toppings. So far everything looked promising. The two female employees were friendly and one cut me a slice of cheese pizza and slid it into the stainless steel commercial double oven for a few minutes. Paid a premium price of $4.75 but the slice was oversized. At this point everything went south quickly. Out of my view, the wife took one bite of the pizza and gave me a strange look and told me to try it. Hesitated for a second, then chomped down on the front of the slice and instantly thought my taste buds were shot so took a second bite and told my wife it was completely tasteless with no crunch to the undercarriage either. My wife said it was horrible and sadly I agreed. Based on the first glance of the slice and the welcoming decor, I was anticipating a great slice of pizza. As a self-proclaimed pizza enthusiast with over one hundred pizza reviews, this was the first time I threw a slice of pizza into the garabge as the employees peered in confusion. Not even sure how a slice can have zero flavor, this was a first. I'm curious what brand of garlic, sauce and cheese were used to produce the bland effect. Wonderful spot for a late night drunken stuper with no concern for a tasty slice but honestly thats it - Buyer Beware. The bathroom was basic with large tile flooring and partially painted walls.
