Came in Tuesday night for a few slices. Def tasted some nice fresh ingredients that were quality. Nice and crispy although I had a slice that was very thin for my taste but a nice big slice. I do tend to like a big more sauce also but Granted it was late I will def come back earlier in the day when less of a chance the slices have time to sit. Super great guys and the place smelled so good. Next time gonna try a few different things

We got their combo special, two cheese slices and a drink for $10. The cheese was fresh and gooey. The crust was warm and crisp. The Italian guy working the pies was very focused on his task but a nice lady took our order. Overall an average tasting pizza.

We ordered and picked up the Sicilian (cheese & sauce) pie and it was huge! The box was heavier than I could have ever expected. The pie looked amazing and it was really good, however a bit too much garlic and burnt ends for our tastebuds. We parked in the lot in the back and entered through the back door. Service was very welcoming and we got our pie in no time. They do not accept cash, credit card only. There are a couple of tables to sit and eat. Next time we will just get a couple of slices instead of a pie unless we are having a party.

**Vegetarian Friendly** The internet has been buzzing about this place for weeks, so was absolutely excited to get pizza! I always prefer a place that has a per slice option since it's please more, plus gives you a chance to try more options. This was absolutely delicious "no-flop" pizza!!! We opted for a variety of slices: (1) Cheese - delicious (2) Margarita - good, but cheese was better, was dry on the sauce (3) Vodka - delicious! (4) L&B - similar to a Detroit style (5) Grandma - not your typical grandma style, this is much thinner. Would skip. We're a "go-to" cheese household, but the vodka was equally good! Majority of the orders were to-go, but still a great place for a quick family dinner. Love the pizza bar they have where you can watch them make pizza.

Pizza Slices. OKAY. The Regular Slice was nice and crisp as well as tasty. Sadly the Grandma Slice with a Spinach Garnish was soggy and not crispy at all. WALK DON'T RUN.

Such a great pizza place! The pizza is amazing and so is the service! Everyone in this place makes it feel like we're family. You can either eat in the store or take it to go, either way its great! Love this place.

Second time is definitely a better charm. First off i actually met the owner Peter and what a sweet guy !!! He gave me details and awesome suggestions. Pretty upset i didn't take a picture because it all smelled so good My favorite : the grandma . Even cold it tasted delish. The Cecilian was a little overwhelming for me but if you like a cheesy cheese pizza then it's a definite must. The sauce is very delicious. The Buffalo chicken was decent but not my favorite . I also ordered a risotto ball (don't remember the name ) and it was pretty good ! I for sure will be back

Good authentic pizza spot, feels genuine. Service & workers were great at creating the experience. Ambiance is perfect. " Authentic " is the best way to describe this place in my opinion. Not trying too hard to be some upscale spot. Just cooking good pizza & serving good vibes. These guys do it right.

The TL:DR, you want to get pizza here. Earlier this week, I received a text message from Nick Pasquale Marrone, the son of George Marrone, who founded Pasquale's pizza chain in South Florida. I hadn't heard from Nick in a few years since I wrote about him taking over as the head of Pasquale's in Coral Springs, which serves as the chain's flagship. Nick had a motorcycle accident a few years ago (he likes fast pocket rockets) and was unable to work for a long time. Nick has returned from his setback and is now the head pizzaiolo at Peter's Pizzeria in East Boca. According to him, he now prepares his best pizzas ever because the owner, the young Peter Izzo, is a perfectionist when it comes to pizzerias. Peter grew up on Long Island, where he worked at pizzerias like Umberto's and developed a taste for the finest ingredients. The restaurant acquires San Marzano tomatoes, both whole and filetto, and uses Grande Cheese, which is known to be the best low-moisture mozzarella for making pizza. They also use three Italian flour types, including Caputo 00, to make their dough. The dough undergoes a 48-hour cold-proofing fermentation, greatly enhancing the crust's flavor. The dough has a high hydration rate of around 80 percent, which is unusual for a Brooklyn-style pizza. The pizzeria has old gas-fired Bakers Pride ovens from the 1980s, as Peter bought an older location. These ovens lack electronic control that new places have and are not precisely accurate. However, if you know what you are doing, they still get the job done. Nick, who grew up using the same kind of ovens at Pasquale's in Coral Springs, has excellent skills, and combined with the raw materials Peter buys and the dough he makes, it yields phenomenal results. Peter is also working on a brand-new location in Pompano Beach, opposite Gallupi's Restaurant on Federal Highway, and expects it to open in the next two months. When that occurs, the East Boca location will concentrate on being a slice shop, leaving the dishes and other things to the new location, which has a much larger kitchen and will be the central facility for making the dough. The pizzeria serves three types of sauces made with San Marzano tomatoes. For their 20" round pies, which are served as slices, they use a "Brooklyn" type pizza sauce. Their Grandma pie features a "Marinara" sauce, which is the most acidic of the three and has a strong garlic flavor. Finally, for their Sicilian pies, they use a "Sicilian" sauce that cooks with shallots and basil for four hours. This sauce is the sweetest of the three and was created specifically for the Sicilian pie. While excellent, it may not suit everyone's taste as it leans towards the sweeter side. We ordered a slice of the Grandma pizza, which was fantastic, and decided on the sauce we wanted on our 18-inch Brooklyn-style pizza. We went with marinara sauce, sausage, fried eggplant, and roasted red peppers, and it turned out to be one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. We also asked for it to be well-done and were not disappointed with the result. The pizza was fully cooked with excellent crust blisters and a well-spotted underskirt. Whenever I evaluate a new pizza place, I look at how they make the dough, what ingredients they source, and the technical proficiency of the pizza baking. Peter's hits all the checkmarks.

Uhh eww! This was discovered today under the cheese after my son was eating a leftover slice. No it most certainly isn't from our own kitchen either!

The pizza was bad. Sauce had a weird flavor. The crust was so chewy it was not edible. Seriously overpriced, bad pizza.

Short answer? YES. We finally tried it and are all so glad…read morewe did; delicioso! Our server, Megan, was so cheerful and helpful that we were immediately put in a good mood (though, tbf, I was pretty excited going in); they've got diet Dr. Brown's Black Cherry... always a good sign! The St James tea is a nice drink, too. Megan brought out some dough bites with a marinara and a vodka dipping sauce and, sorry, but they put everyone else's garlic knots to absolute shame! Nice cracky crust skin with crazy moist soft fluffy interior for every bite, a little heat from the garlic, and both sauces were tasty. The 16" pies are bona fide large pies, not 14" masquerading as full: We got the NY OG and the Vodka. The crusts are ridiculously good; super thin, with a crack on 'em, but still also moist and chewy, with a nice burn (not over-done, just enough charr). The NY OG toppings are light but there and have good mozz flavor; the vodka had a bit of bite once it set and the toppings are a bit heavier dollops. We (three of us, all originally from NJ and two of us with another 25 years in NYC under our belts) all loved it- genuine NY style pizza (we settled on thinking it's a combo of Patsy's and Mikes with better texture than either alone). Place is cute, super clean, though not much parking out back (of course, it's downtown Boca in the heart of Mizner, though apparently they offer valet at night anyhow). Like Arnie said, we'll be back.

Felt very welcomed into this adorable place by the staff. Pizza was fabulous with perfect crust…read moreand seasoning. Highly recommend!
