I have been on a pizza kick of late. I had asked myself, if I were to binge a type of food, or better yet, have only 1 food on a deserted isle, what would it be? Pizza. Its not even close. Now if I could go with just Italian in general, I could live on that isle forever happily. But I digress. I had heard of this place through chatter about best Pizza spots. This one I hadn't tried so when I was in the area tis week I order a pie off their website. I drove over about 20 min later and it was just coming out of the oven. There was a couple nice guys there that got it ready and made sure I had everything I needed. Great service. I got it home and dug in. Excellent pie. It didn't feel like they skipped out on anything. I had gotten the house special or supreme. And I'm pretty sure I will get another one soon. read more

I am always looking to try a new local pizza restaurant in a hunt for the best pie!! We heard Thick and Thin was pretty good so we stopped in for dinner one eve. It was a nice Italian atmosphere , music and all. The server was prompt and helpful. We ordered a small sausage pizza and a baked ziti Sicilian style with eggplant. The crust was thin but the pizza didn't wow us. The sicilian ziti with eggplant was excellent and i took leftovers for lunch the next day. I may try another pizza at some point because they also sell it by the slice, but i would return for the ziti or another dish. read more

This is a review of Thick and Thin's Deerfield Beach location. The food was absolutely delicious! We were a table of four. Two of us ordered Shrimp Parmigiana. A chicken Parmigiana and Veal Marsala was also ordered. The Veal Marsala was prepared with an authentic sauce where one could taste the marsala wine! I've been to so many Italian restaurants that fail to accent the marsala wine accurately. The sauce becomes a brown sauce that diminishes the dish substantially. Not here!! The interior decor was very similar to the Boca Raton restaurant, but with tables that appear larger and are better spaced. Both restaurants are outstanding. Highly recommended read more

5 stars for the most incredible smells coming from this restaurant. When I go to Publix I park in the back of the building and walk through the byway between the buildings to get to the front. As soon as I get out of my car I want to go inside to eat instead of grocery shopping. I always see a line to get in. Check them out, great stuff! read more

When I first walked in almost everyone greeted me. Super friendly, asked what I needed, explained each choice. Something I really appreciate is when the beverages are not listed or in plain sight they told me all the options instead of me guessing. Small things like that made it super welcoming. I had two plain slices and lemonade. Pizza was great, thin slices and reminded me of home (NJ). Overall, 5/5 experience, worth checking it out! read more

At the dead center of the Hillsboro Square in Deerfield Beach is this oddly original named family pizza joint. The double ovens were pumping out pizzas in full force as my wife and I waited for our first taste of the thin sliced NY style pizza at a great price of only $3.49. We had a dinner engagement in the area but decided to grab a slice as a quick appetizer to tie us over for a couple of hours. We waited only a few minutes until the lightly charred heavily cheesy slice was placed on the pay counter begging for my undivided attention. The gender assigned bathroom was clean with small white tile walls and vinyl flooring depicting bold black and white mosaic patterns. The big combo special of the day includes a large 16" pizza, 8 chicken wings and a two litre bottle of soda for $32.95. For some reason, there were no patio tables out front (optional full service inside dining room) so we carefully ate the pizza in my vehicle, which now perpetuated a welcoming strong garlic aroma. I had the privilege of dining at the newest Thick & Thin Italian Restaurant located in the Publix shopping center at 230 South Federal Highway in Deerfield Beach. This restaurant is larger than the original restaurant which is located on SR 441 in Boca Raton. As always, the food is exceptional as is the service. The three owners and their staff make your dining experience a true pleasure. Mama Catherine and her daughter Daniella are in the kitchen, and Alex (the brother) is busy making different types of pizza . They have an open kitchen so you can observe your food being made. I had the meatball parmigiana sandwich and my guest had the eggplant parmigiana sandwich. Both were very tasty. I had an Arnold Palmer drink (1/2 iced tea and 1/2 lemonade), and that was very good. I would highly recommend this restaurant and best of all, their prices are reasonable for an Eastside restaurant. read more

This is our first time at Thick and Thin's Deerfield Beach location, we typically frequent their Boca Raton spot that is closer to home. We stopped in for a quick lunch and were pleased to see they offer lunch specials on weekends--lots of places only offer these on weekdays. The 2 Slice + Drink special for $8.75 is a great deal. Service was quick and the slices were fresh and hot. I added pepperoni to one and mushrooms to the other. Pleased to report their mushrooms are fresh, I avoid places who serve them from a can. We also ordered a half-dozen Garlic Rolls which were served hot and cooked perfectly, with plenty of chopped garlic which is a must. We'll certainly be back! read more

Our first visit so we ate in the dining room. It was pleasant and clean. I never review based on takeout or delivery. We were met at the door by a friendly member of the owner's family. Our waiter was. Long time employee from the original west Boca location. The first guy got our drinks, the waiter took our order. We wanted to split a salad and he suggested the small one since we were having pizza. It was just the right size for two and included 3 garlic knots which we didn't need but thoroughly enjoyed. The pizza was very good, crispy thin crust that was light and airy. No flop and the crust wasn't burned. We order the House Special pizza (combo) without peppers and mushrooms. We are carnivores who like onions too. It may be our new favorite pizza. They have a full menu of Italian dishes - pasta, veal, chicken, eggplant, and seafood. Place very clean and cozy ambiance! Chicken Francese was very good! 3 decent size pieces with salad , pasta and great garlic rolls, My husband's Chicken Parm left much to be desired. One very thin piece of chicken , sauce on the pasta was lacking flavor. The cheese thin crust pizza again lacking flavor but the crust was very good. The thick crust pizza I expected more from , again lacking flavor. The pistachio cake was really good. Prices were reasonable and service was outstanding. Everyone very friendly . I visited on June 14, 2025. The decor is great, the service was good, the price was reasonable, and the food was perfectly fine. It did 'check basically all of the boxes' and is a solid pizza restaurant for a bite. I wish I can give it 3.5 out of 5 stars. The reason that I did not give it the push to 4 out of 5 stars is because there was nothing to wholly distinguish Thick and Thin Pizza from a few other local similar places (i.e., Pizza Time) and I can think of a handful of analogous restaurants that I prefer. Regardless, this is in fact a positive review and I do recommend Thick and Thin Pizza. Give it a try. If I was a bit more local to Thick and Thin Pizza I may make it my go to location. read more

This place just opened recently in my neighborhood Deerfield Beach so we decided to try a pizza we got the large special 5 toppings minus the sauge, & I picked it up the place is very cute inside & everyone was very nice working there. We weren't expecting much but to our surprise we liked it alot, we also tried the small Stromboli which was very good, & a cheese steak deluxe which I thought was just ok but I'm from Philly so I'm very particular about cheese steaks. I was waiting for this place to open because when I lived in west boca I enjoyed that location. This was disappointing for me. $6 for a tiny/short very mini slice of dessert. The wings are a low quality chicken(you can tell as they aren't even all the way plucked... and they don't even bother to pluck the chicken.) The pizza is ok but the sauce isn't flavorful. First time ordering and it was delicious. Eggplant parmigiana was spectacular. Each layer was perfectly breaded and seasoned. The marinara sauce took on the taste of the eggplant and spread it all over the pasta. The sauce was not acidic and had great flavor. My husband and I are from Miami and we were staying at the Boca Raton resort for the weekend celebrating our 2 yr wedding anniversary... I'm 6 months pregnant and I was craving pizza so we decided to dine out of the resort and hopped on yelp and found this gem. We were searching for a small mom & pop pizza place (not a chain) with delicious pizza. Boy, did thick & thin deliver. It was EXACTLY what we wanted. We started off with their mozzarella sticks (yum!)... and then, the absolute star of the show, we ordered the highly recommended "Grandma's pizza." Ummm WOW!!!!! It was easily one of our top favorite pizzas that either of us have ever had in our lives. So much so that we are already talking about making the drive from Miami (1.5 hrs) to come back to the area specifically just for this pizza and we will make a day out of it. We didn't finish the pie and took it home with us - just popped it into the air fryer and I'm drooling all over again, as good as new! I also now think I understand the meaning behind the name of the restaurant. It's not thin pizza, but it's also not necessarily thick either, it's right in the middle and somehow combines the best attributes of both thick and thin pizzas.
