Food was absolutely delicious! The server was helpful and very pleasant. It's in a great location with terrific people watching views. The spicy margarita was great!
Heyyyyyy you guyyyyys!! We sat outside and it was hot but they accommodated us with a fan and the service was great! We had calamari and a Ceasar salad both were excellent. The place gets packed, there was live music inside. We enjoyed! Let's eat!
Food was very good, which is why I am rounding up to 4 stars. We had a reservation and although it was mistakenly written down for the wrong night, the staff still seated us right away, which we appreciated. We chose the outdoor patio which is nice, but it sits right next to the train tracks. The trains seemed to be passing every 10-15 minutes and they were extremely loud, making conversation nearly impossible until they passed. It wasn't the restaurants fault, but it did make it hard to have a nice meal and catch up with family. Regardless, it was still better than dining inside which was unbearably loud. The penne with a hearty bolognese sauce, and the bread with olive oil and balsamic was incredible. The skirt steak and Caesar salad also looked delicious. A couple of small things: there were no salt and pepper shakers on the table, and my uncles water glass had a small crack, but it was quickly replaced by our server. I would consider coming back after the season ends, when Atlantic Ave isn't such a mob scene.
Went on a Saturday night with a reservation. The maître d' sent us inside, but no one was around--waited 5 minutes before someone showed up. We chose to sit outside to avoid the music, which was fine except for bright lights from passing cars. Service was just okay. I had a card for a complimentary appetizer, but they said it was no longer valid since it was from a closed venue. We ordered chicken marsala, clams with pasta, chicken, and sliced tuna. Bread came before the meal, but getting more water was tricky. The restroom had a bucket for a ceiling leak, which was not great. Food was decent, but overall it's a bit pricey. Would probably only come back for happy hour or special occasions. Somehow the coat has really gotten too pricey for my taste!
Happy Hour Review Lively atmosphere with great live music. The happy hour menu has solid drink options and generous portions. Service stays attentive even when it's busy. Perfect spot to relax with good food, good music, and a crowd that's having fun. We ordered too much food
Went to dinner with my son. Love this place. My son complaint about the parking situation in Delray . Food was good. I had pasta with eggplant & wine, my son had chicken parm ( his to go meal) and a beer $120.00 , he paid but thought it was expensive.
We came for happy hour, they had a food and drink menu both 50% off, we were debating on where to go when the gentleman at the entrance told us he could seat us for happy hour with our young children at a low top table. We got a couple margaritas, a paloma, beer, and an old-fashioned. The old-fashioned was not great but the margaritas were excellent, especially the strawberry jalapeño! We ordered six drinks, two appetizers, one salad, and three entrées and our total was $120! We tried the meatballs (they were gigantic as the menu showcased), the Caprese salad, chicken Parmesan, gluten-free vodka pasta with chicken, and their chicken wings The service was great, she actually took the old-fashioned off our bill and let him swap it with a different drink because it tasted a little weird. There was wine bottles throughout the restaurant that gave it a cute Italian look !

We did have reservations but we wanted to order from the happy hour menu so we sat at the bar. Outside it was lovely. Our awesome waiter, Steve, did absolutely everything to make us feel like royalty. First we ordered drinks which came very quickly and were nice and large! We shared the wings --. Don't miss these - they're fabulous. Then I had the chicken parm and I have enough left for 2 more meals. It was delicious and the chicken was a little thicker than in most places and therefore had more flavor. Loved it - definitely going back. Oh - I forgot to mention that the happy hour 3-7 is the regular menu but half price - - - - wow!
Vic & Angelos is a beautiful, classic Italian restaurant located in downtown delray. Its gorgeous exterior catches the eye of everyone that walks by. From the unique looking egg chairs outside to the family-style large table inside, there is a place for all types of people looking for a bite. I visited this place after hearing people rave about it for months. Their happy hour is jaw dropping- 50% off the ENTIRE menu! That is unheard of in delray. On top of that, they offer an entire menu of cocktails and beverages for happy hour. While this is only available at the high tops outside of the bar, they have more than enough seating to accommodate those interested. I went with a classic margarita and the chicken Parmesan. The classic margarita was pretty tasty and I appreciate the bar tender asking if I wanted salt or sugar. He was quick, attentive, and helpful! My meal was surprisingly huge. I actually was able to share with my mom and we were both stuffed. The chicken was butterfly cut, breaded, then topped with light sauce and a generous heaping of cheese. It was perfect. I overall enjoyed my entire experience here. This place lives up to the hype and is definitely busy for a reason!
Went for brunch the other day and they have a really great happy hour. The food was really great and the servers were friendly. It's located right on the ave and really a cute place to eat. Will definitely be going back! The Mac and cheese was also so good.
Cute, cozy Italian spot with some good food and service. We did not need reservations when we visited as they were not busy at all. Nice outside area and indoor space. Started off with fresh bread, tried a few of their dishes (my favorite was the fettuccine with shrimp) and finished off with a big dessert that was perfect to share. read more

One of my favorite Italian restaurants on the ave Came here for dinner and was greeted by a friendly host . My server was nice and bilingual for all my English Spanish speaking friends Pasta bolognese was amazing super creamy and plenty of sauce and meat Highly recommend for delicious food and fun environment. read more

Not your Modern restaurant, but a Typical Italian restaurant. Food was good. We had a margarita pizza, which was good. Orchiette pasta was good. Good portion of the broccoli Rabi and sausage. The margarita and Moscow mule was simple. Service was good. read more
Stopped here on a whim while walking to the beach. I got the Nonna's Sunday Gravy and my friend ordered the Rigatoni Alla Norma with a side of mashed potatoes. I thought the Sunday Gravy was great with thick robust noodles and plenty of meat, was able to take home half for a second meal later. My friend said her pasta was good and her mashed potatoes were very smooth, but lacking some seasoning. Service was a bit on the slow side for the amount of people inside but not bad. I also noticed that my table was not served complimentary bread when it appeared other tables were, but that may be because we were taking advantage of their happy hour and sat at a high top. The restaurant is cute, just very warm since they keep the doors open and have no fans. The happy hour is a great deal! 50% off all food items until 7pm. 4 stars because without the happy hour this place would be severely overpriced in my opinion. The food was great though and I would definitely come back again for happy hour. read more

We had the best lunch today! The food was amazing! The service was on point and the atmosphere was even better! Our Server Dan was so knowledgeable and helpful about every single item on the menu! He recommended the best drinks and food! We had the best time! We can't wait to go back! read more
50% off on everything until 7pm sold. I got the chicken parmigiana and it was huge and delicious. Con: I felt the waiter wasn't so friendly and kind of rushing us. Friends got chicken Milenase and steak. Both enjoyed their meals as well. read more

Stopped by late on a rainy weekday night in December in a group of 3. We were seated immediately on the covered patio. We ordered a bottle of wine and I opted for the lasagna...perfect combination with the bread. The taste of the lasagna was great. I liked the tangy sauce and the portion size...just right. There was no issue with the service. I did find it fairly expensive for what we ordered. My friends advised they normally do the Happy Hour at the downtown Delray Beach establishments and they are much better deals. Next time then if back in the Delray Beach. I decided to eat here because the guy lured me in with the happy hour special. I hadn't done any prior research on it. I'm a little torn on how to write this review. If it was just based on food, I would give more stars. I had the veal Milanese. Huge, thin, perfectly cooked piece of fried veal. The arugula salad was a nice portion and very fresh. The happy hour deal is everything on the menu - entrees included - is 50% off. I got a $54 entree for 1/2 price. Not a bad deal. Although I would never pay $54 for what I ordered. The service is what was lacking. I almost felt like an inconvenience. I was dining solo at a table so maybe he was unhappy with that. I was never offered a bread basket as other tables. I had to ask for another glass of wine when he stopped by the table to check on me. Didn't ask about a wine refill and started walking away so i had to ask him myself. I just don't get it. Then he just dropped off the check without asking me if I wanted another drink, dessert, etc. i was very surprised. I had my after dinner cocktail picked out in my mind and was contemplating dessert. He wanted me gone I guess. Maybe he wanted to clear out the happy hour people to get higher checks. I tipped on the real price though. Which I'm regretting a little bit...lol. I felt unwelcome and rushed. But the food was really good. I would probably go back just to take advantage of the happy hour prices. read more

Have had this spot in mind since New Year's Day and just tried it almost a year of craving. Went to the point with our pastas. Sadly mine wasn't as what i've tried before. Sauce was too thick, cheese seemed to have been mixed with the sauce which what i've had is that the cheese is at the end of the bowl, like the pieces melting underneath it. House sangria was good tbh, some places make it too sweet but this was good. Tiramisu really good. Im picky with my desserts so this were my pistachio ice cream Server was attentive. I'll be back to give it another try. read more

The server was very nice , the outdoor seating was great but the food sucked. . I cook better than this place. The chicken was microwaved, diced and added to the tortellini , Which had hard pear inside. For over $40 you would expect a perfectly grilled chicken filet. My friend had penne w/salmon . The salmon was like tuna fish. It should have been a beautiful salmon filet on top of the penne. The tiramisu was the best part. If this place showed me anything it was ........ that I could have a 5 star restaurant . read more
This is like a place where old school mafia might hang out. It definitely gives off goombah vibes- from the owner to the waiter to the customers sitting next to us. We survived and the food was quite good. The large Ceasar salad needed more dressing, but everything else was excellent. Pizza was huge and most dishes can feed two people. read more
