Cute, sweet Italian restaurant with nice details from south of Italy. Didn't catch any Alfredo meatballs or pizza with ananas ideas which gives the place an additional point! I had La Tonnara salad with added artichoke and it was above delicious as you can see in the pictures. As dessert I had a sfogliatella. The service was great even if there should be a bit more staff speaking Italian but overall, passing by Mercado Italiano was a short jump into Italy

Everything was very authentic it's the perfect hidden gem for the area. Highly suggest, I will be coming back for sure!! Food and service was phenomenal

We have known of this establishment for a few years but this is the first time we visited to eat. It is owned by the same family who have established the best Italian bakery and restaurant in the area - the family which owns Cosa Ducci on 29th Street near Dixie Highway. Mercato has an incredible array of packages Italians foods as well as appetizers salads and a selection of honey-made breads and pastries. We visited on July 4 around 11am when very few restaurants were open. They have a delightful small Dining room which seats about 14. The dark red walls are filled with delightful oil paintings of various scenes throughout Italy. I had the special for the day - avocado spread on a tasty whole grain bread along with a huge piece of burrata on top accompanied by a small delicious cappuccino. The Florentine sandwich was huge and made on warm from the oven focaccia bread. Service was impeccable provided by Suzie and the foods prepared by Irena. This is a local gem hidden in Royal palm Place which is frequented by those who know of the family and their unbeatable foods and hospitality. Nothing fancy but you will not find better foods anywhere like Mercato - unless you travel to Italy. Don't hesitate to go. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic!!! I love this place. Great service and staff is great . Best expresso in Boca

A Quiche Artichoke & Spinach

Once we found this hidden gem, parking and location is confusing, had to call and ask for help with directions! Very nice ladies to greet and serve you. Honey ate all of his pizza and I really enjoyed the artichoke and spinach quiche, been craving. They felt bad for our lost frustration and gave us a cappuccino, more yummy. They have neat items for sale and very reasonable price.

A small charming Italian gourmet market offering a small menu of sandwiches, salads, pizza, and eggs, & quiches. I tried the Il Fiorentino, Prosciutto di Parma, mozzarella fior di latte, and fresh arugula on artisan focaccia , it was slightly toasted. very good but a little pricey.

This jewel of a market nails it every time. Not only is it one of the best lunch spots in town, hands down, but their catering is exceptional. When I needed a charcuterie spread for six people, I brought my own trays, left a couple with Suzie and Irina and said "work your magic." They delivered. Two gorgeous platters that looked so perfect my guests were almost afraid to touch them. The selection was spot-on, the whole thing was a hit, and my friends are still raving about it weeks later. It wasn't just food: it was edible art that actually tasted as good as it looked!

The food is unlike any other. You can tell that it was made with love. Not only that but the hospitality is amazing. You walk in and it's a heartwarming experience. I'm bringing everyone I know. The vibe is so nice if I could I would spend the day here.

Exactly where you'll find the entrance.

Great atmosphere with an Italian Thematic. Fast service by the server (i forgot her name but i do remember that she's from Ukrainian) and she's great and gave us many options of snacks and food. Also, fresh food and tasty, it was a good breakfast and a truly special authentic Italian cappuccino made by the kindly and friendly Romana Barista. And this was just by the breakfast, i wonder how is by the sunset time!

Although it has a beautiful menu of wines and spirits, we stuck to their filtered water, and asked KC for any recommendations for lunch. He was very engaging, a wonderful communicator, and we made our selections which started with the bacon wrapped dates (YUM). Prior to my order, I mentioned a dietary restriction and KC promptly went to the kitchen to make an inquiry. I ordered the trout with lentil ragout, and my husband ordered a margarita pizza. The atmosphere was very peaceful, with unintrusive music, and we really did enjoy getting to know KC as he made sure that we were satisfied with every plate. This restaurant is upscale, yet with value pricing. Altogether, my husband and I encourage you to enjoy a lovely meal, and make sure to ask for KC! You won't be disappointed!

We stopped in a few days ago for dinner. Our expectations were pretty high considering how great…read moreour last meal was. We were seated promptly and the staff was very friendly. Also loved the atmosphere once again, it's just a very nice, open place to enjoy a meal and have a drink. We got a bunch of appetizers to start. The house made Ricotta with cracked pepper and olive oil was very delicious. I also loved the crispy zucchini slices, which were topped with peppadew peppers and a chili vinaigrette. Outstanding stuff. The seared ahi tuna was next level. The fish was fresh and beautifully seated and the mix of cucumber, aji amarillo, pineapple, cilantro and wasabi cream was sensational. One of the best dishes they make at Sixty Vines. The absolute best of the bunch was the truffle fries! They were amazing. They are basically crispy layered potatoes, almost like stacks of filo dough, fried and topped with pecorino, chives and lemon truffle cream. They were so good we ordered a second one! Considering how wonderful everything was to this point, we were expecting nothing but great things for the next course. However they completely dropped the ball and basically ruined our meal with lackluster entrees. Our party ordered the steak fries with chimichurri sauce, the double cabrenet burger, and several filet mignons. The amount of time it took to get the food was unreasonable. Once the appetizers were finished we had to wait somewhere around 20 to 25 minutes to get our mains, and the place was not that busy. I assume that the waitress just forgot or was busy with something else. As for the food, the quality of the steaks was not good all around. Everybody who got the filet mignon commented that the texture was chalky and weird. They were also all overcooked. And oddly, they decided to slice the steak before serving it, so it was very dry. Why would you pre slice a steak, all that's going to do is let the juices seep out and make the temperature drop. I honestly don't get it. The steak that came with the steak fries, I think it was a skirt steak, was also not the best cut. It was super fatty and a little chewy. The fries were good though but the meat was terrible. Finally the burger was completely overdone despite the person ordering it medium rare. Overall, not the best ending to a meal that started with such amazing dishes. Really striking contrast. And actually it made me think that I probably will not go back to Sixty Vines anytime soon. For a $350 meal they have to be doing a lot better. Dried out, overcooked steaks and burgers isn't going to cut it.

Maybe it's quieter outside but those tables are right next to the street. We had to yell to hear each other. Our server Sebastian was so pushy and constantly upselling us. As soon as we sat down, he asked whether we wanted still or sparkling water, but that question should always have 3 options: still, sparkling, or tap? He then recommended the signature omakase, the most expensive thing on the menu. When he came back to take our order, he made a big pitch of today's rib special. When my husband ordered the 8-piece nigiri, he pushed us to upgrade to the 12-piece option. As we were eating, he asked us what else we wanted to order. We ordered $130 of food for 2 people...seriously? We hadn't even finished yet to gauge if we were still hungry. I know that tips are a percentage of the bill, but you would've thought this kid was getting a commission on top of his tip or something. It rubbed us the wrong way. The tuna crispy rice was $5 per piece and the rice was weirdly chewy. Wouldn't order it again. The nigiri were the highlight of the meal. Each piece felt balanced and the sushi rice was good. We ordered 3 rolls: toro toro, scallop, and yellowtail. All were forgettable and expensive for what they were. The yellowtail roll was bland, which is probably why there's a chili ponzu sauce to go with it because otherwise all you can taste is pear, which isn't a flavor I'm looking for in sushi. We ended our meal with scallop tacos, which were good but microscopic and pricey ($17 for 2 tacos). Each one is a bite and a half. It took a while to flag down Sebastian for the bill, so we were stuck in the din of the restaurant for longer than we liked. If the restaurant's filling up, wouldn't you want to turn our table and seat new guests? My husband made a note on the res that it was my birthday, but it was ignored. Maybe we would've had a better experience with a different waiter, but this was a disappointing meal and service.

Tori from Louisville welcomed us with a glass of sparkling Blanc de Blanc. The intimate, romantic, dimly lit restaurant was Paris-esq! We started with delicious whipped feta, mahi mahi & a chicken dumpling appetizer plate. Tom & Jenny, our chefs & owners shared their backgrounds & our menu. The scrumptious menu won me over before I walked through the intimate door. The signature lobster bisque was creamy & perfect as was the crispy mushroom soup. The peach asparagus salad in vinaigrette hit the spot. The ginger pineapple sorbet was a refreshing palette cleanser. Each main course were generous & delectable. It was a difficult choice between the fillet mignon, sea bass, seared duck breast in an orange brandy sauce, boneless short ribs or rack of lamb with a cherry kirsch glaze. Entrees came with mashed sweet or garlic potatoes & and melody of roasted mushrooms , brussel sprouts & carrots. Dessert was easier, the peanut butter torte & pistachio crème brûlée won us over. The wine list was enchanting, some of our faves were here! Even ice wine, port & chocolate wine from Amsterdam are available. We could have brought our own bottle for a corsage fee, but we have to drive home. Hard liquor cannot be brought into the restaurant. Twenty of us at six tables were close together. I overheard the group behind me talking about Machu Picchu & the described my upcoming trip. I joined in, they were friendly & informative. We splurged & ate scrumptious courses for three hours. Service was friendly, informative & impeccable.

I came here for a birthday party event where we rented a karaoke lounge room. It was a very fun experience. There's a server that comes in throughout the night to check on you and take your orders and whatever you need. It was a lot of fun! This time we ordered edamame, Wild Mushroom Chow Fun, braised short rib, wagyu potstickers, green tea, and for the kids the Vegetable Lo Mein Bowl. Everything was delicious, fresh, and came out really fast. A few small things disappointed us this visit. They changed the menu and removed my kids' favorite grilled cheese. It used to come on this amazing soft airy rice bread grilled to perfection, and now it's just a regular multigrain sandwich. The kids were genuinely upset since we always ordered it for them. My green tea was also served with water that didn't seem hot enough, and the foam on top was a little off-putting. I know green tea is brewed at a lower temperature, but this just didn't feel right. Also, the restroom used to have a beautiful chandelier, and now it looks like something happened to it -- only hanging wires are left, which takes away from the otherwise polished aesthetic. Still, KAPOW remains one of our favorite spots because the food is consistently excellent, the atmosphere is fun and stylish, and service is always quick.

The name "Boca Raton Wine and Food Festival" sure sounds good...like they would get some higher end restaurants there. I mean it's not the F'ing Catalina Wine Mixer, but... Not all were a disappointment, but most were. Now it did rain for about 10 minutes, but that's Florida and all part of the adventure. But this BRWFF was slated for 7 pm to 10 pm. The tickets were not cheap, but there were still vendors that simply left by 8:30 pm...I guess due to the 10 minute rain shower. There is a contest where we the customers vote on the best food/wine booth. Well the best in my opinion was the Lighthouse Point Yacht and Racquet Club (French Onion Soup dumplings) which is 1. A private Club that us commoners don't have access to AND 2. It's not even in Boca. Then to top it off, the winner was Santos Buffet....a buffet won people! I mean ZERO disrespect to Santo's, but Is that the BEST place the organizers could get for the BRWFF? I know that part falls partially on the voters, but still....the selection of restaurants and other vendors is pathetic for what you pay. I'll try again when/if Boca learns from other affluent cities exactly how to put on a real wine/food festival.
