We were supposed to eat outside but the weather didn't cooperate and luckily there was a table inside. We had happy hour drinks and appetizers. The house Pinot Grigio isn't the best but the Cabernet was really quite good. We shared the bruschetta and the meatballs. Both were fine - I've had better meatballs but these were still good and the happy hour prices are great. I shared the chicken parm dinner. That is truly PLENTY for two - in fact, we took some home. My friends enjoyed the branzino and said it was delicious. There were two waitresses. One was very nice and very attentive but the other actually seemed like she was trying to hurry us. I now understand why so many reviews mention Vivian. We recently held an 85th bday party dinner for my mom, with 14 guests, on the covered patio on the water. Conditions were, esp for FL and 85-year olds, challenging, with temps in the low 50s and wind. But she and her staff pulled off an amazing dinner nonetheless, utilizing wind screens and 4 heaters to keep things very comfortable. The food was amazing, with generous portions and delicious options for every palate. The service was attentive, responsive and efficient. Chloe's Bistro is one heck of a find -- a true locally hidden gem! We needed a place to celebrate Christmas Eve and made a last-minute reservation. When we saw the availability, we were skeptical... thinking, how good could it be if we can still get in on Christmas Eve? Turns out, the joke was on us because we accidentally discovered an Italian hot spot that absolutely delivered. We arrived expecting French (we assumed "Bistro" = French), but after doing zero research and just searching for close + available, we were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves in a quaint, cozy Italian restaurant instead. And honestly? Best plot twist of the holiday. Let's start with the entrance -- so charming, cute, and perfectly inviting. Inside, we were greeted by a wonderful hostess who quickly found our reservation and even offered us our choice of seating. We snagged an outside table right by the lake, with the water practically sparkling beside us. The Florida Christmas Eve weather was perfect for outdoor dining and we were thrilled to be seated somewhere so peaceful yet vibey. We kicked off with wine and imported Peroni beer. Then came the fried calamari. Holy crunchiness! The calamari was fresh, crispy, and simply delightful -- perfectly seasoned, beautifully fried, and an immediate 10/10 start. Next, I asked our server for her favorite dish and went with the Linguini Seafood Dinner in white wine sauce. Since I'm allergic to red sauce, they kindly offered an alternative without hesitation -- and I was so grateful for the accommodation. The seafood was fresh and plentiful, the sauce light but flavorful, and the plate absolutely loaded. They did NOT skimp. My husband ordered the sautéed snapper, which also came with shrimp, clams, pasta, and a pink sauce. This dish was light, fresh, perfectly cooked, and somehow both filling and clean-tasting. Another win. And just when we thought we couldn't be happier... dessert arrived. I will say this boldly: I would return just for the tiramisu and affogato. The affogato, served over vanilla gelato, was heavenly. The tiramisu? Perfectly layered and easily one of the best I've ever had. I don't know how they did it, but they did it. Simply amazing. So why 4 stars instead of 5? A couple small hiccups: The outdoor lights attracted quite a few gnats (hey, it's Florida in humidity), but it was noticeable enough to mention. I'd recommend the restaurant consider a light repellent or table buzzer solution. Also, there was a bit of confusion in service flow -- at one point we had 3 different servers, and our gelato arrived without the espresso for the affogato. It took a moment, but it did eventually come together. But please -- don't let that deter you. The food is incredible, the atmosphere lovely, and the servers were clearly trying their very best to be everywhere at once. With just a little more experience and organization, this 4-star spot could easily become a 5. We will absolutely be back -- appetites ready, smiles on, and dessert expectations high. I met a friend here for lunch, we sat outside on the patio that looks out onto a lake. It was our first time here definitely not the last time. What we decided to do was a few appetizers and a salad and so happy we did. We did the Hearts of Palm, Mussels in White Wine and Garlic ( you definitely want bread ), Tuna Tartare and the Chloe's salad it comes with balsamic vinaigrette, I asked to try the blood orange dressing. Our first time at Chloe's Bistro was for a surprise birthday party for our cousin's wife. Now he is not the most organized person, and there were a few hiccups (on his end). Primarily, he told the resturant there would be 20 people, then changed it to 22, but told the person who would be on site, pre-surprise, that 16 would attend. Needless to say, the folks at Chloe's were confused. While waiting for the surprisee, the one waitress on their patio (the other one did not show up, and was a bit frazzled) kept bringing over more tables to add for our group. BUT she did it with a smile, and without (visible) complaint. And at the end of the day, two never appeared! Why do people do that?? So rude! Anyway back to Vivienne, our waitress. She regrouped and was super friendly, and efficient, even while facing a difficult task, serving our 20, and the others on the patio. Once she realized that we understood her dilemma, she got to work and took drink orders, served them, took food orders, served them , and brought out, and cut the birthday cake, and served that. All while smiling and running around. Another waitress did eventually show up to help, but Vivienne had everything under control by then. Hope our cousin gave her a big tip! She earned it. So that was service. The location, on the patio, overlooking a pretty lake, with fountains was also quite magical. Oh yeah, and the food. It was terrific! While Chloe's is not a big resturant, we expected the kitchen to get slammed. Maybe it did, but all our orders came out within a reasonable time (all things considered), and were plated quite nicely. Had the potential to be really great but during a busy holiday brunch time, this small restaurant and staff couldn't keep up with the rush. Our party of 5 came in for a noon reservation on Mother's Day and was not seated till 1 PM. The table had been empty for 10 minutes prior with no one to come back to us and take us to the table. The hostess/server/bartender was trying her best but clearly overwhelmed. After we finally sat, it was another 10 minutes we got menus. Luckily we had an idea what we were getting already so we were able to place an order immediately. Most of the good came out relatively quickly but the fried calamari could've used a bit more frying as it was a bit on the undercooked side. The hearts of palm salad was very good and refreshing. The steamed clams were delicious and very big. My rigatoni alla matriciana was very tasty. Lots of pancetta and came out hot. My mom's Branzino came out nicely pan fried and the buttery caper sauce had good flavor. The seafood linguine took a super long time to come out and was a little bland. MY ADVICE TO YOU IS TO HAVE A BACKUP RESERVATION SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU WANT TO EAT. We had reservations for four at 6PM. We were on time and the only ones sitting inside. There were three tables occupied outside at the time. The waitress (Inexperienced is my guess) was in a hurry to take our order. Simple: two Caeser salads split and four entrees. By 6:30 we had not received our salads. We asked three times before they finally came. It was far from the better Caeser salads we have had. We then waited and waited. We asked for our waitress three times and the Manager at least four times. We never saw the manager and had to go search for the waitress. Finally, it was 7:30. We left and they could have cared less. Outside there was a couple eating their dinner. I asked them what time did they arrive. It was at 7:00 and they were eating. Imagine that, someone actually had food on their plate. P.S. Two couples came inside and left becase of poor or non-existent service. Another party of four left at the time we did. I had previously been at Refina Greek Taverna which is in the same shopping complex as Chloe's Bistro but thought I'd give Chloe's Bistro a try, which I found to be a mistake. The wood decking for outdoor dining over the water has clearly seen better days as the board's dry rot is rather obvious. The seating is not the best as there is nothing but a row of unused tables next to and overlooking the water without an umbrella or covering. For outdoor covered ding, you sit back away from the water. As for décor outdoor and indoor, it's all rather simplistic and basic, but nice enough. My Beloved ordered their La Madonnia which was a penne-like bread sandwich with prosciutto, black olive paste, mozzarella, tomato, and provolone. Unfortunately, it was done on the cheap and really pretty bad. The bread didn't taste fresh and had a not-so-good gummy texture about it. For tomato, one very thin slice, as was the same with a super-thin single slice of prosciutto and a very minor smear of the olive paste. I ordered their Chicken Milanese along with a side of salad. Sadly, the greens sort of lacked in crispiness, and for tomato, one little cherry tomato split in half. It seemed as if it was a joke. The Chicken Milanese, however, was rather good with a nice breading and flavor but no garnish like lemon, lime, or dipping sauce. Really, just a "plain Jane" unadorned basic. Given the rather terrible excuse of their La Madonnia and my salad, the best I can say is there are better dining choices than Chloe's Bistro. read more

My husband and I have eaten dinner here many times at this lovely restaurant but we had never experienced Sunday brunch. Last Sunday, we had brunch for the first time at Chloe's with our cousins. It was so good, we went again with a different couple yesterday. The menu is so varied- so many choices! Everyone loved their meals. They were beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. The presentation of each meal was incredible. The service was great, the parking was easy and the ambiance (a gorgeous water view) was magnificent. A few of the negatives were; Bread that was terrible (and even the butter was not good) and at this point I would rather pay for a good bread basket than have free bad or average bread. My girlfriends and I all went with the bowl. They ordered theirs with chicken as their protein and I ordered salmon. We started with a great bottle of Pinot Noir, prosciutto wrapped melon, toasted cheese and baguettes. So good! For my entree, I ordered the Branzino fish and it was perfectly prepared. After the soup, I had their shrimp hearts of palm salad. This, too, was wonderful. Lots of shredded hearts of palm topped with shrimp, avocado chunks, and halved cherry tomatoes. I'd asked for them to leave off the red onions. The dressing mixed though out was light. My husband had their spaghetti bolognese. The pasta was perfectly cooked. The sauce was very meaty. He said it was one of the best bolognese dishes he has had in a very long time. That's saying a lot -- as it's his go to meal at most Italian restaurants. We listened to the desserts options just to hear what they have -- for a future meal. We were both too full for coffee or dessert. But they did sound appealing.
