Finally found my favorite Turkish döner restaurant after living in Florida for over a year. So glad I tried it. Döner is so soft fresh and Turkey-like I loved the sides that come with it and the babaganoush that we ordered as well. The restaurant is very well decorated and modern style. This really changes it from other restaurants around. Loved it! Definitely will be coming back.

Went to Generous Gyro to check it out. Located in a strip plaza on Federal Hwy, ample parking. We went in for take out and didn't realize it was a sit down restaurant! Beautifully decorated and cozy atmosphere. We got the chicken wrap which was very tasty. Served with salad and fries. The salad was very nice with a raspberry vinegar. We also got Donner family platter which was filled with salad, lavash, several sides: salad, sauces, pickles, and onions. My family enjoyed the dishes! We'll be back and will eat in next time. Check them out and support local business.

We had a very good lunch here even though the one server waiting on the entire restaurant was a bit overwhelmed and we got our appetizer almost at the same time as our main meal. My husband loves Turkish food and still speaks a few words in Turkish from his time there many years ago. We parked right outside in the strip center lot. The restaurant is on the west side of US 1/Federal Highway. Inside, was decorated all in blue -- walls and chairs. There was a large screen TV that played Turkish jazz music while we were dining. We ordered cay/chai to drink -- Turkish tea. It was good, but we were never offered refills, and I think the other tables got their tea for free. We were there for lunch and took advantage of the lunch specials. There are three possibles that are served between 11:30 am and 3 pm. They are a doner platter, a doner burger, or doner on top of a salad. This is a good introduction to their menu at a reduced price. We both ordered the doner platter. We started first with a shakshuka appetizer. This was a mix of eggplant and peppers in a tomato-based sauce served cold with pita bread. It was good on its own with a slight kick, but my husband added it to his rice, and I added it to my doner meat. The platters were a lot of food: Very well-cooked sliced beef doner along with a side of rice pilaf -- white rice with little vermicelli in it -- coated french fries (not my favorite), a mini colorful salad (it even had blueberries in it), and very thin lavash bread. There were supposed to be pickles, also, but there weren't any on our plates. My favorites were the meat and the rice. Even with the few minor glitches, we enjoyed. There are not too many authentic Turkish restaurants in South Florida. I'd like to try some of their other menu options and if in the neighborhood would come back for dinner.

A large, beautifully decorated and modernized Turkish restaurant, offering middle eastern and classical Turkish cuisine. I enjoyed my Gyro lunch plate which came with pita, a small flavorful salad and fries. The çhai was very good with my meal.

I ordered the shawarma and the chef's salad, and honestly, both were really disappointing. The shawarma wrap was dry, overly salty, and tasted like the meat had been sitting around for a couple of days. It came in a stale Mexican tortilla (not lavash), stuffed with fries and a pickle, but no vegetables or sauce. Easily one of the worst wraps I've had. The salad wasn't much better, no pomegranate, no freshness, and way too much blue cheese. What a horrible meal!

authentic Turkish dining. Amazing restaurant decor, cozy, elegant ,comfortable .Soft jazz music, leather couch to enjoy tea and dessert after the meal. Best Turkish Doner, and the chicken is incredibly tender . Personally my favorite is the appetizer meze with shaksuka and humus and tzatziki and eggplant and fresh pita. occasionally they have live music nights, fun , highly recommend this place .

Amazing Services and delicious Doner (gyro) Atmosphere is like I am in Turkey. Thank you

Don't let the name fool you--this isn't a quick-serve gyro joint. GG Doner is a modern Turkish doner house with a refined lounge-style interior: velvet seating, a central chandelier, and full-wall Mediterranean projections. Owner Hawk, originally from Istanbul, brings serious polish to the space and the food. The star is the doner kebab--a seasoned blend of 80% beef and 20% lamb, slow-roasted on a vertical spit. It's not sliced in view, but we were lucky enough to get a taste straight from the kitchen, fresh off the rotisserie and bursting with flavor. You can get it as a platter (with rice, fries, or salad), in a house-baked lavash wrap, or as Iskender over tomato-soaked bread with yogurt and grilled peppers. We got the Iskender and would absolutely order it again. We started with a meze platter featuring three standouts: Shakshuka (spicy eggplant and red pepper), Babaganoush (roasted eggplant with yogurt and mayo), Cacik (cool, herbed yogurt with cucumber). Also tried: Sigara böreği (crispy cheese-filled phyllo rolls), house fries, and a simple green salad. Didn't try the desserts this time, but ended with a perfect Turkish coffee--strong, rich, and beautifully aromatic. Prices are reasonable, service is warm, and the food is outstanding. Easily one of the best Turkish meals we've had in South Florida. We'll be back.

HH is always great, often making selections from both the HH menu and the regular menu... the fantastic Pork Chop, raw bar and Cheese Selections are regularly in play. I don't often do brunch but this may change after my first time here on a Sunday. A chance to try Chef Blake's Fried Chicken (w waffles) is reason alone to come in. Absolutely loved it. Starters of Deviled Eggs, Shrimp Cocktail, OJ and excellent French Press Coffee. The Strawberry French Toast was a big hit with one person, Croissant Benedict with Lump Crabmeat also pleased. I enjoyed my more traditional Croissant Benedict done with Ham. The Home Fries were great as well. Zoe was a fantastic server! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This is actually perfect because no matter what your preference is, we'll find something you like! No more worrying over what bottle to split when everyone has a different palette. The food is also incredible, which tracks because with good wine you need good food. Tonight I kept it simple and just had the shishito peppers, bacon, wrapped dates, and the calamari. Everything was delicious, but the bacon wrath dates get a special shout out. We even ordered a second serving because they were that good! I also highly recommend the speakeasy attached to the restaurant called Radcliffe. I went there on a separate night and it was amazing..

Unfortunately, someone in management apparently looked at a perfectly good menu item that customers actually enjoyed and thought, "You know what? Let's get rid of that." The potatoes were the reason I came back. Crispy, flavorful, and somehow capable of making any meal better. Now they're gone, replaced by disappointment and confusion. I asked if they would be coming back and was told to write a review. For now, it seems these potatoes have been permanently exiled for reasons known only to the menu gods. The rest of the meal was fine, but it's hard to enjoy anything when you're mourning the loss of what was clearly the star of the show. Removing your best side dish is a bold strategy. Let's see if it pays off. Until the potatoes return, I'll likely be spending my dining budget at establishments that haven't declared war on happiness.

Although it has a beautiful menu of wines and spirits, we stuck to their filtered water, and asked KC for any recommendations for lunch. He was very engaging, a wonderful communicator, and we made our selections which started with the bacon wrapped dates (YUM). Prior to my order, I mentioned a dietary restriction and KC promptly went to the kitchen to make an inquiry. I ordered the trout with lentil ragout, and my husband ordered a margarita pizza. The atmosphere was very peaceful, with unintrusive music, and we really did enjoy getting to know KC as he made sure that we were satisfied with every plate. This restaurant is upscale, yet with value pricing. Altogether, my husband and I encourage you to enjoy a lovely meal, and make sure to ask for KC! You won't be disappointed!
