    Beef/ Lamb Gyro(SIDE ONLY)

I dropped in over the weekend to get baklava. I ended up getting the gyro, fries, and baklava. It was my first time getting Greek fries. It came with large pieces of cheese. Can't say that I'm a fan. It was okay. The baklava was great! Sweet and not too expensive for two pieces. The gyro was so big I took it home to finish. I really liked the various sodas they had to offer. Their sweet tea is actually sweet.

Food was good! I ordered a chicken platter and gyro. Service was fast. I'd have their food again.

My wife and I decided to stop back at Souvlaki Time after not eating her for a few years. Reviewing my last Yelp review it seems that I was pretty happy with the meal. I gave them 5 stars at the time. This time around we dined in and had dinner with 6 people. We got an assortment of gyros, burgers and the spanokopita all of which came with sides and salad. I got the chicken gyro, a side of grilled vegetables, salad and hummus. When I walked in, I saw the lamb and chicken gyro spinning on the hot rotisserie. So I was like, that's what's gonna be good! However, my chicken was definitely not fresh and it was not very good either. It was served lukewarm and was also very dry and overcooked. The seasoning was good but damn, very dry and very lukewarm. Not the best. My side was not amazing. It was supposed to be grilled veg, but it was more like a sautee. It was mostly zucchini and onions and for some reason they put in a ton of olives as well which gave the entire sautee an overpowering olive flavor and a black olivey sauce, which I was not expecting. I really didn't like it. The salad was good. Better than a basic salad for sure. Very fresh too. The hummus was bland and very average. I tasted some of the other dishes and I was a bit disappointed with those. The lamb gyro was flavorful but also was not nearly hot enough. The fries were also not directly out of the fryer. They were OK, but definitely not fresh. Later on in our meal, one of our party ordered more fries and those were fresh and delicious. But the original batch was not. Finally, I tried the burger and it had some sort of vinegary finish that was very off-putting. I have no idea why a burger would be vinegary but it definitely wasn't good to eat and it was abandoned with about 90% remaining. Overall, this meal was not very good. They did have some decent moments here and there, but as a whole, the meal disappointed me. Not sure what has changed since 2014, but it's sadly a change for the worse. I would probably not return to be honest.

Great spot for lunch! We had a group of 7 and they were pretty quick with very good daily specials (ex. $5.55 for super gyro). Our group tried a variety of options, including the lamb gyro, chicken souvlaki, and falafel pita. No complaints. I didn't realize Chicken Souvlaki was big chunks of chicken, unlike the lamb gyro that is sliced very thin, so it was a little harder to eat. The spicy feta dip was orange, I assume from a Buffalo sauce, which is not exactly what I was anticipating for the side so I probably won't get that again. The Greek fries seemed to be the most popular choice for sides.

After spending the afternoon at Spanish River park, this is my favorite spot to pick up and enjoy at home. If you decide to dine in you'll be able to enjoy the wall art by contemporaneous artist. They have good daily specials, budget friendly. Souvlaki time has never failed me. Food is excelent, good amount and fast service. One time I called for a pick up order 30min before closing time and staff were friendly, and food was hot and delightful. My favorite is the chicken gyro platter.

Great Friday Deal on Gyro $6 before tax add Greek fries and a Drink $4 comes to under $13 after I tipped and tax. Great quick fast food gyro. Very filling, meat was juicy not dry. Fries a lot drier than expected but with lemon juice on top brought them back to life. Love a good gyro deal

The best fast casual Greek place in Boca. The food is fantastic and the prices are great. My favorite is the Salmon Pita. The hummus is alright (lacks flavor), but everything else is delicious. The food comes out relatively quickly. Great spot for a quick and delicious lunch.

So beautifully decorated in the blue of the sea outside and inside. The ambience was relaxing and gave a feeling of being there. The staff and owner made sure everything was okay at all times. We ordered the hummus and tazicki with fresh pita and olives to start. My son said the olives have a dressing like no other and wanted to know what they use to make it. The server brought a complimentary red pepper dip which was a little spicy for me but good. Followed by the Avgolemono soup @ chicken soup bases with lemon that I never had before but was so flavorful that it brought comfort immediately. I had to order the Akena (sp) blue martini drink made with raspberry vodka and blue curacao to compliment the Mediterranean feel. It was smooth and sweet. Finally, came the entree I ordered Moussaka which was a quite generous portion cooked perfectly with the sauce and so delicious . I had to take some home because it was quite a large portion. My son ordered the lamb roast with a boastful flavor , he did say he still preferred the chops flavor but the portion again was large. The price for the food is quite reasonable for the portions served. They have lunch specials and belly dancers on certain days, Fridays and Saturdays and also cater to any parties too. Chef Gianni prepared authentic dishes. He originally was at a restaurant in NY and opened this one. I believe his wife also works there and was pleasant and invited our return to see the belly dancers . I will definitely be returning here maybe on a weekend next time to see the show.

I was in the area on yesterday and decided to stop in for lunch. The staff was helpful and nice and the restaurant was pretty clean. Since it was Sunday, they were not a lot of customers inside, more were to go orders. I ordered the falafel platter with double salad, as I love their salad and dressing. It was around $17 which a bit pricey for this platter compared to other fast food Greek spots. I waited for about 10 minutes for to order to go. I noticed that they do charge .85 for extra tzatziki and dressing. Thankfully, my salad had 2 cups of dressing. The platter came with 10 mini falafel balls with tzatziki, and my Greek salad which came with everything except the feta cheese. I was not a fan of their falafel balls are they weren't crispy on the outside and very mushy on the inside. These falafel balls remind me of the mini ones from Trader Joe's. They lacked the flavor profile you want from falafels. I honestly prefer them to be larger in size. Also, the salad had some old mushy pieces that I had to pick out. The pita bread was always my favorite from Gyromania and that definitely did not change. It was cooked perfectly, and was almost buttery. It's great for dipping in the salad dressing and tzatziki sauce. Overall, it's ok not my favorite fast food Greek spot as there are better in the area.
