My friend took me to this place for a quick lunch bite. I know this place originated in New York which has a very different demographic. The place is kind of hard, to put together thematically. I get the Miami color scheme but the layout was kind of weird with a bar on the side and a lot of kids drawings on the whole left side of the wall. Prices were "okay" a single party is $7 but if you add cheese and some onions it's $10 which is kind of a large up charge for two things. The cheese is vegan since this is a kosher burger joint. The food was okay, the burger lacked a lot of the depth that I expected from a smash burger. It was just a regular burger, kind of bland. The fried Onions were "okay" too, it felt like they didn't bring the oil to temperature before dropping it in so they were soggy and oily. The service I got was good though, the girl explained everything and was really nice. I did leave a tip even though I honestly don't think they should be asking for tips for a place where you have to clean up after yourself and all they did was bring it out. Crispy onion strings were the star! Would definitely get those again. Burgers, although "smashed" and crusty were just too greasy and the vegan cheese was a total miss. Completely liquified and only added to the unpleasant drippiness of the burger. Burger sauce was very eggy I'm guessing because of the no dairy restriction. I was in the area on a business trip and wanted to grab a quick lunch. I saw the high rating on Google and figured I'd pop in for a burger. Admittedly, I didn't read reviews, so I didn't know the food was kosher or Jewish-owned, but that's not a problem for me! Upon walking in, there was one man standing off to the side and a few cooks sat in the back. No one greeted me when I arrived. I figured I should order from the computer screen which made sense how to use and pay. Prices were pretty on par for the area and I was happy to see seltzer as a drink option. (I received a can of Kirkland lime seltzer with no option for flavors). After ordering I wanted to use the restroom but I walked around and couldn't find one. I tried to get a cooks attention but after two "excuse me" shouts, no one responded. It wasn't even loud? It almost felt like no one had even noticed I was in this restaurant at all. The man on the other side of the restaurant told me the bathroom was through another room. It appears this used to be a larger restaurant and the bathrooms were through another room old dining room. It was very odd. The handicap stall had no toilet paper and the one next to it had a large piece of wood molding blocking the door, so I used the stall with the door slightly ajar. I guessed the restaurant must be very new and still under construction but Yelp says otherwise. The color scheme and music is pretty loud and techno. A bit odd. The interior space was fairly empty, so I sat outside. My burger was good, though greasy, and the fries were great. Quite a few groups arrived as I sat and ate, all with yarmulkes on. When I brought my tray inside to throw it out, it wasn't clear where to bus my tray. I admittedly felt a little out of place as everyone looked at me when I walked in. This is the ONLY truly " fast food" hamburger joint in the Boca Raton area, and the food is actually delicious! The French fries are first rate, there is an extensive array of customizable burger options (including Kosher "cheese" burgers) As well as various chicken wing selections plus special kids' offerings. The decor is bright and cheerful highlighted by an entire wall of children's drawings--they even provide crayons and outline art for the kids. And they even have beer for adults. My only gripe is the Blooming Onion is too greasy. Stay away from the union and both kids and adults will have a blast! read more

Smash house is on a different level. I have been trying to find a kosher and amazing fast food restaurant and I have finally found it! I love it so much. I always get the popcorn chicken and or wings. Their sauce is incredible. This time I got the popcorn chicken and wings with buffalo sauce and a side of smash sauce. I got this food for my husband and I to try out before we give it to our kids. Whenever we go we order extra chicken to keep in the fridge and have it the next day. The service is amazing I love all the staff. The restaurant is so cute I love to go there in the weekends and sit with my kids. It is also very clean. We were greeted by the manager, Elior, who was quick to show us how to order at the computers or take our order in person. I hate to give this restaurant anything but a stellar review but I keep all of my reviews honest and give the best feedback that I can. The reason I hate to give a bad review to this restaurant is because the employees were extremely friendly and helpful and they seem to be trying very hard. This is a kosher restaurant that apparently caters to those following a kosher diet. Accordingly, since they are serving beef, they do not have cheese, other than vegan cheese. I did not like the concept of ordering from a computer screen, but the employees were very helpful to show me how to do it. The burger itself was smaller than I thought it would be but very tasty, and the sauces they have are pretty good. I saw someone eating the fries and they serve those fries with a coating on it like checkers and I dislike those so I went with their crispy onions as a side dish. The problem with the crispy onions is that they were so salty I couldn't eat them. The soft drink was served in a can, but it was at least very cold. Since I don't like their sides, the only one left is coleslaw, which I would be willing to try, but truth be told kosher food isn't very good and I have found that out the hard way. I give the restaurant credit because I am obviously not a frummy like 100% of their customers seem to be, and they were still extremely accommodating. While this is close to my home, I would like to see if I could just order the burger by itself without anything else in the future. Although it was decent, I couldn't help thinking I would have rather had McDonald's. They are using kosher meat though, so there was no gristle or anything like you would get at a fast food place. They have only been in this location for a few months so I hope they succeed. I know it may not be cost-effective but hand cut fries that are unseasoned would be an excellent addition. read more

Was there yesterday afternoon for the first time. The staff could not be any nicer. The young fellow with the curly dirty blond hair went above and beyond to assist my group of 6 to place and deliver our orders. The food was excellent and the portions were large. The staff made us feel very comfortable and even said good bye to us as we were leaving. The young man at the counter was extremely patient and did everything possible to make this feel like home. This place is such a great asset to Boca. As a pro chef, I can always determine fairly quickly if a restaurant is on to a good thing and isn't just a lazy cash grab. This restaurant has had a lot of good options and their menu is not bogged down. They know what they do well and just stick to that. Great food that is not only very kiddo/family friendly but all around great. This place is PERFECT to order food for a small to lrg casual event of any kind. Who doesn't like deep friend goodness? For the ppl (usually the ladies) that want salads and healthier fare, they have great salads that border on "bowls" of super yummy ingredients. These salads are loaded with protein that truly fill a person up much more than the IMO totally tired Caesar and "mixed green/garden" salads that are on most menus as an afterthought. Went for my first time for lunch. Was kind of empty and sketchy when I first walked in. Ordered a burger customized from the touchscreen stations after figuring out there was no table service. Burger brought out by server was perfect, delivered fast, hot, very tasty. One of the best burgers I've ever had. Hard to spot in the shopping center if you've never been there before. A little signage outside (only small lettering on the door identified the place) and some instructions inside the door on how things work would be welcome for first timers.
