Baja steak salad with violently overcooked steak.

For the money, this may very well be the worst restaurant in Boca. I arrived for my 5:30 reservation to an almost empty dining room. Only two other tables seated. It still took them nearly 5 minutes to greet and seat us. I immediately put in an order off the kid's menu, a chicken schnitzel and French fries, and asked for that to be brought out as soon as it was ready. That was around 5:40pm. Keep in mind there's no complimentary bread or anything else. About 10 minutes later, I ordered the Baja steak salad. What showed up, a good 10 minutes before the schnitzel, was 4 or 5 cubes of steak mixed with a blend of guacamole and some sort of "crema" that our server couldn't even tell us what it was made of. And along with those little cubes was a strip of shoe leather. One side was completely hammered beyond recognition. Finally, almost 45 minutes and 3 follow ups after ordering the expedited kid's meal, the schnitzel arrived. Once again, absolutely hammered and tough to the touch. I couldn't even get my toddler to eat it or the fries with ketchup. And ketchup fixes everything for toddlers. At that point, I had to leave to find my kid some food. The rest of my party had no choice but to stay behind and await their fates. It had been an hour with no food, but I expect that is better than what they might eventually get. The prices are absurd, and somehow the food and service are truly dreadful. There might not be a worse restaurant at this price point in all of South Florida. Steer clear. Go literally anywhere else. Or just go on a hunger strike. This place is *bad*.

We ordered the filet mignon (medium), the BLT, and the cheeseburger (medium-well). Every single dish was delicious, flavorful, and very filling -- we even had leftovers to take home. The fries were incredible and you can tell they're made fresh in-house. We also ordered a Caesar salad, which was crisp, perfectly dressed, and delicious. Even the bread served at the beginning of the meal was outstanding. If you're looking for a fulfilling lunch with incredible flavor, this is a must-visit. I absolutely love Abe & Louie's for both lunch and dinner -- consistently excellent food and a great experience every time. Service was wonderful and fast, especially if you have a quick lunch hour.

The restaurant has an old time charm of a steakhouse, with top notch service for the most part. Victor was nothing less than 5 stars assisting me with my OpenTable issue...he definitely went above and beyond, and comp'd a dessert for us for the inconvenience to no fault of theirs. As for the food, Cesar salad was underdressed and lacked Parmesan cheese, with pieces of romaine too big for a human bite...who wants to be cutting up salad to eat? The lobster casserole was recommended by a friend...it came drowned in enough oil and saturated breadcrumbs to make anyone choke, lacked salt as well, however it was perfectly cooked. The bone-in ribeye cut was less than I would have expected from this restaurant...I had a big piece of silver skin, and it was rather lean taste and texture more of a sirloin than a fatty, marbled ribeye...more like choice as opposed to a prime cut imo. It was, however, cooked and seasoned perfectly. The baked potato was barely warm...we finally flagged down our server and asked if it be heated ... we were at that point already 1/2 way through our meal. By the time they returned, I only took another 3 bites as I was finished eating. The potato was put under a broiler for a hot minute as the very top was slightly warmer, better...but underneath was still the same. The creamed spinach was amazing, reminded me of Peter Lugers in Brooklyn! Now the best was dessert. The butterscotch bread pudding was delicious although we wished it was crispier and thw chocolate layer cake was the BEST I've ever had, light and just the perfect balance of sweetness served w/ a big scoop of schlag (again for my Peter Luger fans)! A little inconsistent I'm afraid is probably why we hadn't been back all these years.

There was valet a lot of free parking in front of the restaurant. This was a real happening, the restaurant was packed on a Saturday night. I'm glad our reservation was honored and we only waited for about five minutes. The restaurant was noisy, but fortunately the tables were spaced so we were not on top of each other. In 1971 J. Alexander opened in Nashville, Tennessee. There are 44 restaurants, mostly in the south, with 2,700 employees. They are considered a casual American food chain offering gift cards & VIP membership. Friends love their salads and with seven choices some with shrimp Louie or Asian tuna, what could be bad? The sandwiches, soups, burgers, sandwiches, steaks & house specialties look appealing. There is an extensive wine list, with many by the glass along with crafted martinis & cocktails. Joshua waited on us, he was on point. We started by sharing a delicious calamari appetizer that was enough for four of us. The calamari was fresh crispy and tasty. I shared baby back ribs with a huge baked potato and delicious coleslaw with my husband, it was more than enough for the two of us. Friends enjoyed their huge salads, they looked very good and they raved about them. The portions were very generous and prices were reasonable for the quality of our meal. I can't wait to go back again. We've got a new favorite local restaurant!

I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken ($9.99 additional) and it arrived with no chicken! Last night I ordered a French Dip sandwich with horseradish and a dip and a loaded potato. I spoke with a manager after the first delivery and she was very understanding. She told me that I would receive something in the mail to make up for the missing chicken. Nothing ever came. I will still go back to the restaurant because I love it, but this will make me hesitate before ordering with Door Dash again. Stanley made sure I felt incredibly special for my birthday, and the team helped us select the perfect bottle of red wine to pair with dinner. The food was absolutely amazing. What makes the steaks here so special are the high broilers they use, creating that perfect crust while seasoning them simply and perfectly with salt, pepper, and butter. My boyfriend's go-to appetizer is the baked shrimp, while I opted for something lighter with the beef carpaccio. For entrées, I ordered the bone-in filet, and we also shared the veal, a 16oz NY strip, and the ribeye -- all cooked to perfection. I couldn't skip my favorite béarnaise sauce. For sides, we went all out: creamed spinach, fettuccine Alfredo, cheesy mashed potatoes, onion rings, potatoes Lyonnaise, and charred Brussels sprouts. Every single one was delicious. The grand finale was their butter cake, which is absolutely my favorite and the perfect way to end the night. What a truly wonderful birthday experience!

Meat market is an upscale steakhouse and the decor matched just that. Make sure to dress appropriately. The meat was cooked to perfection and the ribeye was juicy! The crispy rice was one of the best I've had! I have no notes on the quality of the fish or flavor, it was divine. I only wish that the crispy rice was warm. For the sides, I would order the lobster mashed potatoes but pass on the mac and cheese and creamed spinach. Those were lacking flavor and were just ok to me. Overall, I enjoyed Meat Market. I'd recommend for a nice dinner, anniversary, or girl's night out.

It was EXTREMELY loud upon entering and the tables were very close together. I couldn't even hear myself talking that is how loud it was. Plus, the music in addition to the noise made it difficult to have a conversation. The interior decor was aesthetically pleasing. Our server was fantastic. He was very attentive, kind, and helpful. He helped us make decisions with our order. To start, my friend and I ordered the I love gold beverage which consisted of Anejo tequila, honey, orange, lemon and cinnamon on the rim. I ordered mine skinny (to be the least sweet as possible). We ordered the MM house salad which we split to start which had brick street farms organic greens, candied pecans, goat cheese and red wine vinaigrette. We also got the BBQ Wagyu beef ribs which had jalapeño coleslaw and red current bbq sauce. Both were absolutely fantastic starting dishes before preparing for the main course. With the help and guidance of our knowledgeable server, we ordered an item that was NOT featured on the menu. It was called the MS9 Australian Wagyu which is one of the highest grades of beef! It is sourced from Jack's Creek. It was so tender, juicy, and medium to perfection. I was super grateful our waiter told us about it! We ordered the cast iron exotic mushrooms as a side to the steak and they were 10/10. We made room for dessert and I'm so happy we did because it was PHENOMENAL! We ordered the double chocolate cake with brûlée marshmallow, chocolate peanut butter fudge, coffee ice cream and chocolate pop rocks. It was seriously mouth watering. After we finished eating, we went to the ladies room and there was no toilet paper in any of the stalls and no paper towels. We had to alert the staff to this Overall, the two negatives were the bathroom not being properly stocked and the noise level hence the 4 stars. However, the food was absolutely amazing and I will definitely be back next time!
