For starters we had the Calamari, eggplant tower, broccoli rabe and sausage as well as the meatball with ricotta. All four dishes were fabulous! Beautiful presentation and seasoned perfectly. We've been wanting to try Deluca's for several months although a little trepidatious based on some of the negative reviews but regardless we went and had a great time. And quite frankly it hit on all cylinders, service, ambience and food. Walked in and we were politely greeted and then provided a very nice table. Server came and introduced himself and took our drink order then came back with his notebook and described some specials. Ordered Faust and Belle Glos by the glass - both great wines and price per bottle was much lower than I have seen elsewhere. We started with a caesar salad which was just ok. Nothing special but the lettuce was fresh. Usually on my first visit to an Italian restaurant I like to try the chicken parm which was not thick (just the way I like it) - and the sauce was tasty not watery. So for me one of the top 3 chicken parms in Palm Beach/Broward. Also ordered a side of spaghetti fra diavolo which too was very good. Simple preparation not cooked al dente with some good heat to it - the way it's supposed to be. My wife had the snapper stuffed with crab meat luciano. She said the flavor/sauce was excellent although it did have somewhat of a fishy odor to it. We ended the night with tartufo and in their version it came half chocolate - half vanilla with a soft not crisp shell. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant which had a great/varied menu. Service was not rushed and while it did get loud was somewhat manageable so we highly recommend this place. Ranks with Vitolo and Le Sorelle (South) as one of the three top Italian restaurants. Not a place to go unless you are under 40 and love loud music. The place can't decide if it wants to be Studio 54 or a chophouse. The music was insanely loud so enjoying a fine meal was not happening. If you want to enjoy your meal go early bird because at 8:30 it was loud music on steroids. Service was ok but they had trouble hearing our order so we resorted to pointing at the item on the menu. Shame they dont see the value of a good chophouse because the food was good. Won't return. I am on the fence about whether or not to give a four or 3-star review. Four Stars: Fun. This place is fun. It's crowded with jubilant diners looking for a good time. There is a singer who moves around the room (songs such as "I Will Survive" get the crowd going) earlier in the night until probably 8 pm, and then a DJ sets the tone with an array of soul, pop, and light rap. Be aware that you'll be dancing at your table. Menu. It has an excellent menu with something for everyone: grilled chops, fish, kitchen entrees, salad, and many vegetables and pasta plates. Come hungry, or come for a cocktail and a small bite. You will be happy either way. Cocktails: They pour a nice-sized drink for the up-to-date rising price of wine and spirits. In light of that, you won't feel ripped off. Dessert. Exceptional butter cake and homemade tiramisu. Three Stars: Loud. Exceptionally loud. Crowd. There are just people on top of people. Be confident in your swagger. People will be checking you out. Food. There can be improvements. A gnocchi dish was pillowy but oversauced with a bland marinara. A chicken marsala suffered from too much sweetness. A shrimp cocktail had only three shrimp in the order. Service: A forgotten appetizer of baked clams was excused by "Sorry, but we are slammed tonight." That's a new one. A substitution of rigatoni for the menued bucatini came out with the bucatini, and wine glasses were given with lipstick not once but twice. Valet: No one came to open the door on the passenger side. That isn't polite. Would I go back? Yes! I want this place to get it all together and succeed. I had a great night, and I genuinely enjoyed my meal. There are a lot of four stars in my 3-star review. There is a slight negative vibe and I'm not sure if it's from the darkness, the strange decor or maybe it's from accessing my cheap drink pour. Also the restaurant tries to be too formal in laid back South Florida. My food has not been as good as in prior visits and while its not bad I find that there are better restaurants nearby. We were really disappointed with our Valentine's Day experience. For a place that calls itself a "Chophouse," it was surprising that the special dinner menu didn't include a ribeye or strip-- or really any steak options besides a small filet paired with a lobster tail. It didn't feel worth the price and honestly looked disappointing anyway. There were no traditional sides offered with the entrées, and the only salad option was a seafood salad. The menu itself was extremely limited and, to make matters worse, not everything listed was even available. What frustrated us most was that there was no notice ahead of time that it would be a prix fixe Valentine's menu only. We were told it was "to save time and make things easier," but that would have been helpful to know before arriving, especially on a night when reservations elsewhere are nearly impossible to get. We considered leaving but felt stuck because it was Valentine's Day and options were limited. Ironically, the atmosphere did liven up throughout the night as more couples realized the menu situation. Hearing everyone's reactions almost became part of the entertainment, kind of fun, actually. Still, that didn't quite make up for not getting the ribeye we came for. Unfortunately, we wish we had made reservations elsewhere. We ended up booking a late night reservation at another steakhouse just to finally get the ribeye we were hoping for. As a recommendation, it would have made a big difference if the special menu had been clearly advertised in advance or mentioned during the confirmation call. read more

Big big fan of this place! The atmosphere is amazing. I like to sit in the ballroom area with the DJ, as it's a big vibe! Always great music playing. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, which is always great! The food is the star of the show! Everything is very solid. The meatball salad is killer, the a Wagyu boneless ribeye melts in your mouth and is perfectly cooked with a great sear! I went there with my wife and two other couples for New Years Eve. I had made a reservation a few days before and the manager on duty stated that all he had was six seats at the bar. He stated that my reservation was for 9pm but that we could come at 8pm due to the fact that he would keep the seats open for us. We arrived at 810pm and the seats were not saved for us. We did get four seats at the end of the bar at the television. We ended up wth 41 dollars for drinks per couple so with tip 50 dollars a couple. We were seated in the main eating area and observed there was a very limited menu with no prices on the menu. Our waiter was kyle and was very pleasant, but the service was extremely slow, as I expected on New Years Eve. We proceeded to order a drink and our food for the meal. The music was terrible, very loud techno, not one song anyone knew. We still made the best of it. We asked for our bill, and that we were doing three seperate checks. We got our bill and it stated $642 a couple for a total of $1926 .00. Add the bar tab from before dinner and that puts us aht $2,076.00 before tip. I called the manager over who immedately became confrontational and aggressive. I was seated, and he put his hand on the back of my chair, and on the table , one foot from my face and stated under no circumstances do you raise your voice to me. I stated the only one raising the voice was him. I stated with tip we are looking at $2,500 and I had a piece of chicken. The manager stated because it was New Years Eve he was charging 300 dollars a person, but that included drinks. I stated we just paid a 150 dollar bar bill an hour before. I am attaching the advertisement from online that states it is 100 dollars a person on New Years. I then stated for him to call the police, as the manager was becoming very aggressive and condescending. He then stated he would comp our meals but that we were never to come back to his restaurant again. I stated I came there for my 40th wedding anniversary in September and enjoyed it, but I asked him to show me anything that stated 300 dollars a person, or open bar for that matter and he was not able to , he told me to leave now. We went outside where his security came up to me and stated that he was exlawenforcement and then pulled his suit coat open and showed me a gun in his waistband. Not sure why, didn't expect that over a piece of 2500 dollar chicken. The manager came back screaming and stated that we didn't till the waiter which we immediately did, with me saying , you are screaming at us so aggressively we didn't think of that, and we paid about 150 dollars to him on the spot but the manager took the money. Three days later the manager was a liar and charged all of us 642 dollars a couple even though none of us signed the credit card slips. SO WE WERE THROWN OUT, SCREAMED AT YET WE WERE CALM,, NOT TOLD THE BILL WAS 642 A COUPLE, NOTHING STATED THAT NOR THE MENU, HAD HIS SECURITY SHOW US A 40 MILLIMETER GUN IN HIS WAIST BAND. NO DRINKS NO DESERT , LIED TO AND THREATENED WITH A WEAPON........I WILL CONSULT MY ATTORNEY IN BOSTON ON MONDAY DUE TO THE TRAUMA. My husband made reservations for Valentine's Day, we got there and were seated promptly. Unfortunately, we're sat at the first table right infront of the DJ and large speakers. The music was loud for a fine dining experience and the dj seemed to have a friend standing with him, they were "talking" screaming and laughing in the dj booth our entire Valentine's Day dinner. I could barely hear my husband say things to me. The restaurant itself looks nice and sultry. Could have been perfect for a romantic evening. Our waitress was great. The food was pretty good -- I really loved their garlic for bread and the burrata appetizer but not the best chicken parm in my opinion. My husband said his food was great but felt overpriced considering he had same dish at another fine dining Italian restaurant on NYE. I doubt we will ever go back but who knows!? Unlike a lot of the comments I didn't mind the music as it had a good vibe. This is not the place to go if you are looking for a quiet/romantic setting. The disco lights are a little strange for dinner. Unfortunately everything else was kind of just ok--not great, not bad in terms of food, service & wine. For the price point I wasn't overly impressed. The meatball app came with one meatball--for a party of 4 perhaps the waitress could have mentioned that. The Chianti had a weird after taste. The chicken parm portion was huge. The waitress asked the guys do you want that with the red sauce or vodka sauce & with or without the side of pasta not explaining both were upcharges. I came to DeLuca's chophouse with my family for my engagement party. My mother had set all the details up via email and they told us we would have to set a menu because we had a large party of 13 guests. When the night finally happened we only had 10 guests and they had us stick to the planned menu which was fine as we were allowed to order from the regular menu if we wanted. It was unfortunate that they rushed us through the dinner they have a time limit on tables of 2 hours that no one warned us about until we asked to be sat a few minutes early so my mom could put engagement celebration candies and gifts out. They rushed us through the meal and brought out entrees before the appetizers and there was a lot of confusion with the manager and waitress. After the entrees they did end up bringing out the appetizers. We were only given one piece of bread before they took those plates away. Every course was rushed and they were packing us up quicker and quicker. When we finally got to dessert they put down the plates and there was one piece left and they tried to take it to throw it away as we were 30 minutes from the 2 hour mark and they had never asked if we wanted any coffee so the did let us order that after they said we only had 10 minutes left before we needed to leave. Obviously their timing and the actual clock differ. Because when we were told about the time limit the front desk girl said we have a 15 minute grace period after the 2 hours. So I really don't know what is true. The service and rushing was extremely disappointing because I don't even feel like I got to enjoy my meal it was being shoved on a plate and the next thing I know it was being picked up. The food was good we got a variety of different options but the service lacked. Overall I wouldn't come back to be rushed through a meal and put on a timer if they have such a strict time limit they need to make that clear before having big parties book. I don't know if it's the same for all tables. I also want to say they were taking the tables apart before everyone had even stood up at the end of the service it was extremely rude in my opinion. They opened up a bag of lettuce, put some old tomatoes and thick red onions was probably one of the worst salads I've ever had in my life, then have the grilled branzino, which was decent at spinach I swear them and you said asparagus. The $99 wagyu ribeye was not wagyu/prime by any standards, lacked flavor and was cooked to the wrong temp. The overall service was far from what a 'high end' spot should be. Hard to get water refilled, no serving utensils for a family style pasta dish, I ordered the Grilled Octopus salad and received the entree which was completely different. The best part was when the manager came over he didn't know his own menu and was unaware there was a grilled Octopus salad which is the first salad listed on the menu. Save your money. I must say this is unique restaurant with very good vibes. They have a singer who was outstanding sing Italian songs I male who sang beautifully and also a female we had dinner there tonight. Everything was delicious Daniel our waiter couldn't have been more delightful and helpful and professional I had the salmon I must say it was one of the best salmon I've had in a while. It came with spinach. We also had the pasta special with shrimp, which was also delicious veal chops, which were delicious and we had escrow and beans, and clams which was also good. The bread was nice and chewy Italian bread. This was a really good experience. You get beautiful singing and delicious dinner and the ambience is really upscale. Actually it feels like being in a New York supper club. I also came here for happy hour the week before everybody was so nice when I entered they were accommodating. Everything was good that I decided to try it again tonight and have dinner and I'm really happy that I did complementary valet parking, make sure you make reservations. I've eaten here multiple times. It's a very good restaurant. I'm 100% disabled veteran. I have a service dog would only let me sit outside. They claimed that I would make their staff go into anaphylactic shock because of my service dog. I am extremely disappointed that I'm not good enough to sit inside. Because of my disability. Wonder if they tell people with a wheelchair that they're a fire hazard because their wheelchair sticks out in the aisle too much, I don't know. But it's a shame. read more

Dinner started with the Calamari special made with hot and sweet cherry peppers, tender and yummy! Next "The Meatball" 5 Stars!!! The minute I cut the fork through it I knew, delish! The only other meatball I eat out is Stevie's. Finally, a Meatball in restruant close to home, I'm so excited! Next came the Lobster Risotto it was not only beautiful be delicious!
