Update from last night: upon reflecting about my burger, I went inside in to review the menu and the app menu, which was on my phone and realized that they must have given me someone's special order. Because it didn't have the cheese, inion rings or the bacon or the lettuce and tomato, and so they offered to remake it for me again to which I replied, "Yes, I would like to really try it the way it is intended." The only problem with that is I was full and could not eat it until today and I reheated it. Now I must say, it's pretty darn good. The other thing is that their 50/50 lemonade/ Iced tea, I asked for more tea than lemonade, and the tea was just so weak, and I'm not certain why. Overall, I may be compelled to come back again, because of the service and their efforts. I tried Shake Shack once last year in Glendale, California. And it seemed like it was okay, and I just don't remember much about the food or the experience in Glendale California. I do not understand this franchise. They have three computer screens at the counter for you to place your order. The problem is that it takes most customers several minutes to complete complete their orders. The result we had to wait about 4-5 minutes before one was free. A mystery. My wife ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. The bread was toasted but the cheese was not melted. How do they do this? The cheese fries were tasteless and soggy. First, Andres came to our rescue to order all the items from the tablet! This is amongst some of the best proactive service I have seen in years! The burgers are good even without the free flowing condiments. However, the meat was under seasoned. The buns could be improved as they squish down with little effort. The fries are nice. The shake was overly sweet and almost gummy. The food is a 3 the service is a 5. So I've been coming to this location since it first opened as it's across the street from FAU and was perfectly placed when I was in college. Shake shack has now started to do contactless orders were you have to use a kiosk to order your food which can be helpful at times however, I do miss the human interaction aspect. Every year during the summertime Shake Shack releases their hot options where you can order spicy fries or cheese fries and it comes with ranch. As Shake Shack is known for their burgers, their chicken options are very delicious as well. I decided to go with chicken nuggets today, and I'm happy I did. The 6 count nuggets were perfectly juicy, crispy, and fresh. The breading on the nuggets are more crispy than Chick-fil-A and not greasy at all. I opted in for the shack sauce for dipping and it was good but the ranch was also A1. The fries are also cooked to perfection and fresh, and with the hot seasoning if you like spicy, I definitely recommend this! And I have to say I think that Shake shack has the best crinkle fries that I've had so far. For my drink, I also ordered the dragonfruit pomegranate lemonade and it was perfect for this hot South Florida heat! It was sweet, but not overly sweet and had pieces of fruit to nibble on along side with the ice. Like at all chains there were some good things and some bad things about my visit. The service was really great, while waiting in line I was informed that I could choose to use a screen to order if I didn't want to wait in the long line + my food came out pretty quick for how busy they were. The food was good nothing special. The burger didn't really have much flavor and the strawberry peach tea had almost no sweetener in it which was disappointing. The fries however were delicious with the truffle sauce! Seating was pretty limited inside but that may be due to the time of day that I went. Overall pretty decent for lunch. read more

I loved the dragonfruit flavored drink because it was fresh, fruity, and sweet! I placed my order at the kiosk and it was fast and convenient. Interesting mix of customers all ages, shapes & ages. I love the black-and-white custard gelato shake and the mushroom burger; they are my favorites. I have been craving Shake Shack for a while now. I never ate at this location before and was surprised at how busy they were. It is a stand-alone location in kind of an odd area on Glades Road. Let me say, the staff that I dealt with are super nice. I was brought extra pickles as I asked and they also brought my chocolate shake after I ate my meal as I had asked. My friend and I each got a single shack burger. We shared an order of fries with cheese. She got some strawberry lemonade and I just got water. My burger fell apart. The bread on the bottom did not stay together. The burger tasted sort of well done which you can ask for but I did not ask for it well done. They did add pickles on the burger which I wanted and honored my request of no shack sauce. The fries were better than usual because I had cheese on them. But really, they are pretty tasteless. The chocolate shake was very good. After dealing with a very unpleasant experience at their Sawgrass location and then today, I am taking a break from Shake Shack. There are ketchups, mayo, and mustard on the side if you want for your burger. I did get pomegranate yuzu lemonade and it was great! Very refreshing. Definitely taste pomegranate, yuzu, and lemon. Service 10/10... cheese fries 11/10.... Came in on Sunday night and they were slammed, I saw like 25 orders up on the screen. The staff was moving swiftly and efficiently but smiling at the same time. I dropped my phone grabbing my food and the server went to pick it up for me and even apologized even though it was totally my fault.
