We love this Denny's. Kelly is our favorite server and she is amazing. The food came out hot and fresh and fast. This Denny's is super clean and super friendly. There is plenty of parking and everyone is just so sweet. I will say that this Dennys does need some work on the service for the larger side of the restaurant (without the sit down bar). We went last week and had Jason and it was just slow. One thing I love about Dennys breakfast time is that the first hint you get is your coffee. While sitting on Jason's side, my husband got his milkshake and I was still waiting on coffee and everything t else was slow to follow right down to getting the check. With that said, let's focus on the spectacular Kelly and how wonderful her attitude and attentiveness are. She actually even jumped on to help other servers on the other side when time allowed. This is the service that will keep us coming back. The food, well, it's Denny's. I suggest pancakes instead of French toast and extra crispy on the hash browns. Denny's at 1311w Palmetto Park Rd, Boca Raton My lady and I go here so often we've gotten to know most of the servers. It's such a treat to visit a place where the staff is friendly, helpful, and truly knowledgeable about the menu. She always enjoys the crêpes, hot cocoa, and soups, while I usually stick to the breakfast items. They know exactly how I like my meal: scrambled eggs (soft), all bacon, and toast lightly toasted. Even my coffee is made to order--3/4 coffee and 1/4 hot water. When I order French toast, they even remember I prefer regular bread over the thick-cut slices. The best part is that they never rush you; they genuinely seem pleased to have you as a customer. Whether we are there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the service is consistent. Even if I want the "Senior Scrambled Eggs" with cheddar and bacon for dinner, it's never a problem. From the manager and hostess to the servers and cooks, the whole team aims to please. Our server was looking out for me. I chose a la carte and she made it a combo lowering the price. Kudos! Coffee nice and my pancakes were kinda blah. The real reason for the loss of 1.25 stars is that the breakfast sausage sucked. They tasted like they looked if you get my drift! Service was ok but I asked for hot chocolate and it was 50 degrees out and we have been going through a cold spell and there was no hot chocolate! My meal is supposed to come with turkey bacon and there was no turkey bacon and I do not eat the regular bacon. The food was tasty, but the prices are totally out of whack at this point. I grew up here, would bike here with my friends in middle school, come here late nights in high school, and even to this day I still pop by at least once a month. The food to me has always been great, it's not a high class meal, but you don't go to dennys expecting a fine dining experience. The burger, the fries, the tenders, the breakfast, all of it, just great. Usually the restaurant is clean, and throughout the years there's definitely been a rotating cast of waiters and waitresses. As of current, the staff are super sweet. Came in with a party of 10 people recently and the manager, and waitress were so helpful to us. The store was pretty empty mind you but you can tell they really care. I've always really loved the staff there. Only thing I'd stay away from are the claw machines haha. read more

Came in for a quick breakfast before heading out of town and was very pleasantly surprised by how quick we were seated, how quickly the food came out and the quality of the food. The staff was exceptionally friendly. Seemed that there were a lot of regulars who come in and they all seemed to have a very good rapport with them. The service today was excellent. The server was smiling and very helpful, especially since there were new items on the menu that I haven't seen since the last time I was in this restaurant chain. It must've been about five years since I walked into a Denny's. The food was typical Denny's. I can't really sing its praises, but I can't completely criticize it either. The food was okay. The pricing was just right and actually lower than most places serving breakfast these days. It's definitely a place to keep in mind for the future. One thing about any dennys you go to they are all the same and nothing is ever different. That is a good thing if you expect to taste the same taste you are familiar with. Lately I have been on a breakfast in the afternoon kick and today my girlfriend stacey the greek and I ate breakfast at 3 in the afternoon. We ordered the same thing the french toast slam. I always just eat 2 of the 4 slices of french toast and take those last 2 pieces home for the next morning. I did that today. One thing about me I am a creature of habit to a certain degree. The waitress was friendly and funny and got our food and drinks promptly. My eggs were over medium and were cooked perfectly. My hash browns were crispy and not under cooked and the french toast and strips of bacon were delicious. This is my 800th review here on yelp and I am glad it went to Dennys boca. I have a lot of great memories of coming here in the 90s at 4 am after the club (club boca) closed and eating here. I guess thats the only thing that has changed I am not here in the wee hours of the morning BUT i still come here for good comfort food. Some things will never change! read more

Denny's is a Denny's is a Denny's. They are all pretty much the same. Although this one seemed a bit smaller by its configuration. I'm not really a fan of the chain. After trying to get breakfast (for lunch) nearby, and leaving there, however, we came here as it was the closest option still serving an all day breakfast option. They were not overly busy. We were seated right away. And waited on right away. The gal serving us was charming. We got our drinks pdq and ordered our food. Everything was cooked and delivered pretty fast... and the portions were huge! I got their eggs Benedict with poached eggs. It came with the eggs on top of a piece of Canadian bacon on top of an English muffin. The muffin wasn't as toasted as I would have liked and the Hollandaise sauce tasted a bit cheesy. But by then, I was starving and happily ate most of it. Fyi, I'd gotten veggies instead of home fries -- and there was no problem making a substitution. My husband got their banana nut pancakes with banana cream, walnuts, and banana slices. It also came with a separate plate of scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon and sausage (eek!). The amount of food staggering. The food wasn't fancy or prettily plated, but certainly satiating and satisfying. The inside needs a little updating and freshening. But price wise, it was a bargain. And Denny's came to the rescue just when we needed them. read more

If you ever wondered why this company is going out of business, go no further. Food: 2 Service: 2 Ambiance: 0 Water leaking from the ceiling, making for bad sanitation. My order was incorrect and the cashier refused to correct it, so the server had to delete the ice tea to insure I was not overcharged. Blatant unethical and unprofessional behavior. I hate to be someone who says they don't expect much from a place, but sadly, I didn't expect much from Denny's and that's exactly what I got. I guess you could say my expectations were met, but all-in-all, this was a pretty lackluster experience. Killing time between errands, I came to this Denny's in Boca for dinner. And I appreciated the help me help you mentality, but I had no clue what I wanted, but fear of sitting there forever made me essentially pick the first thing I saw on the menu which was a chicken sandwich (with bacon), fries, and a side salad. Is this what I wanted? I'm really not sure even as I type this. Employees were scrubbing floors while I waited for my food. The restaurant had a dinginess to it that I've not seen in other locations. To be honest, I think it was the lighting. A weird hue inside of the building gave it a cold, old feeling that was kind of uncomfortable. Eventually my salad came, as did my refill of iced tea. Even though I was pushed to the front of the line for my food per the waitress, the meal still took a while, in my opinion, to arrive. But at long last it did, so I ate. The chicken sandwich, overall, was totally fine. Nothing amazing to brag about or note, but it was fine. A typical chicken sandwich; juicy and on fresh bread. The fries here I'm always a fan of with those long ribs cut out of the potatoes. My meal, with beverage, came to around $13.50 prior to tipping. I've spent more on worse, but I was a little bummed to give my money up on this one as I really wasn't satisfied. I ate half of the sandwich just because I didn't really feel like finishing it. I've never been one to shy away from fast food places, fast casual places, or diners of any sorts, but I might take a pause on this location. Give Kelly a raise!! I've never been to this location before. I started DoorDashing less than a week ago, and my favorite thing outside getting to explore is meeting all the wonderful people who service and provide us with what we need to make our daily lives what they are. Kelly was not only holding the floor down with dine-in customers, regular pickups and food delivery orders (me) but she just had such a grace to her that seemed so pure. I'm sure you all there just think "that's just Kelly" but as someone who deals with people on a daily basis people like her don't come around often! I called to speak to the manager myself to relay this but I'm sure it's super busy! I went back in to get extra syrup & butter for my delivery, more people had walked in but Kelly was still as kind, sweet and as graceful as when I first walked in! I got the extra things I needed for our customer! I say "ours" because they ordered from Denny's and I just delivered it to them (: not to mention...THE FOOD!! ugh it smelled REALLLLLY GOOD! the Denny's in my area (west palm) doesn't even smell half as good like this location does which is why I probably never go lol. I came to this location a year back, before the renovation. I dined here now and noticed they had a nice renovation within their restaurant. Not bad at all, they modernized their booths and tables. The floor looked nice and clean compared to pre-renovation. A nice and simple look inside the restaurant. For Sunday brunch time, they were packed. The hostess was such a sweetheart and was so nice even though there was a 30 minute wait. Some people were getting nasty with her and I felt bad but she was keeping up with the crazy pace. And we were sat within 15-20 minutes! Our server also was quick in taking our order because we were already ready. I usually get their veggie egg skillet. Right now they had a build your own skillet seasonal menu plus other skillets on that menu. I decided to get a healthy choice of baja skillet. You can do egg whites if u want, the steamed veggies were yummy in it, plus pieces of avocado on top. Sam got the build your own grand slam and had egg whites scrambled with a side of hash browns etc. Plus he got pancakes which were nice and fluffy, and I ended up eating most of it :) This location is good if you like Denny's.
