This small coffee shop offers superb coffee and chill vibes inside Mizner park The offer variety of hot or iced coffees, pastries , and some juices. They also have IPAs and other soft drinks in cans and bottles

I'm a morning coffee person but needed an afternoon sip. We went inside and loved the strong coffee decor. The employees were polite and gave me a delish cup of Colombian-Brazilian espresso. Excellent place to chill and have a cup or have a piece of cake or muffin.

Stopped here for the first time and it did not disappoint! A friend recommended this spot and so we drove up from Ft. Lauderdale to check out. My boyfriend and I went out of our usual comfort zone of coffee choice. We asked the barista that day their favorite and they said they were currently in love with the strawberry white mocha, and WOW. It was so delicious. I got a dirty chai and it was incredible too, not the usual sugary chai some places have. Would highly recommend stopping by here. They also have incredible art on the walls and the vibe is overall so welcoming.

Great place to grab a cup of coffee or latte with friends. Friendly service and a trendy shop. There were outside places to sit along the Mizner street and inside seating. Definitely go back again.

And we go might he be? And his connection to coffee? Or is it subculture?

So here's the bottom line. Five stars on vibe and cleanliness and a 2.75 on food and beverage. Admittedly I only tried once. Husband has tried multiple times. Had a cappuccino which was well made, with great in-house roasted beans, but was not hot, just barely lukewarm. Drank it too fast as I didn't want to drink cold. For food, had breakfast burrito which is pre-cooked and packaged elsewhere and warmed up when you order it. No changes possible. It was a tortilla wrap of scrambled eggs cheese and bacon and it was tasteless, like cardboard. Plentiful on eggs skimpy on bacon and cheese so tasteless I couldn't tell what it was. Served very hot. So it was a very hot tasteless wrap. Slapped on a plate. Would I order again? Hard no! Next time I will request the drink HOT. Other part of review is vibe. You are paying half for food/beverage and half for vibe. Vibe is cool without being cool. Funky pillows and exposed pipes AC equipment. Clean very clean tables and condiment area. Lots of pastries to select from. Chill background music. Almost everyone was wearing headphones and on their laptops or multiple laptops. And had multiple tats. It was around 10:30 am. Several outdoor tables occupied and all indoor tables occupied. Everyone hipster looking except senior citizen me. Would I return? Yes. But would not order that breakfast burrito. Order beverage hot. And check out one of their many pastries and sit outside if weather cooperates. Oh the barista was pleasant and made great cappuccino but she needs to make it hot!

This coffee pastry shop in Mizner Park has a very cool vibe and relaxed decor. The staff was friendly and ordered an expresso coffee and sat at a small quaint table and chilled out. The pastries look very fresh but will definately try them out on my next stop. The expresso was delicious and the wife loved it too. There was a creme heart on the top layer...The bathroom was clean too.

This was such a gorgeous coffee shop as a fan of dali, I very much enjoyed all the artwork in subculture coffee. The coffee itself was amazing. We got a iced coffee and a southwestern wrap and that was amazing as well. The girl who attended us was very kind and very helpful.

Such a cute and convenient location! Easy to park by meter right out front. Great outdoor and indoor seating. The booths and tables were cute with gold accents and the mural was fun! The barista was so nice and offered so many fun drink combos. I was heavily indecisive on some flavor options and she suggested two together that I would have not thought of doing. It was delicious! I had an iced latte with oat milk and lavender and pistachio syrups. One of the best coffees I've probably now had in Florida! My fiancé had a iced vanilla coffee and enjoyed it as well. Honestly the coffee itself tasted yummy and not bitter at all. Very smooth and creamy. Can't wait to go back and try more combinations!!

Subculture Coffee was established on March 3, 2014 by Rodney Mayo and his partner Sean Scott. They now have four locations including this one in Mizner Park in Boca Raton which opened in March of 2022. They are the only microroasting facility in the area except for Oceana Coffee in Tequesta and Panther Coffee in Miami. Like the craft wine and beer places that came before, they want to be known for their craft coffee. Subculture Coffee roasts their coffee every day in small batches in order to maintain a higher quality, smoother finish, and full flavor. You can order seasonal flavors and different coffee from around the world. Beans are sourced from Central and South America, Africa and the South Pacific. The coffee is roasted on a Diedrich IR-12 which offers flexibility in roast size. They also offer a grab-and-go breakfast, lunch, snack foods, smoothies, and juice. Subculture opened near two other Mayo concepts, Kapow! Noodle Bar and the now closed Dubliner Irish Pub. Subculture is a narrow space but I love the Salvador Dali inspired mural on the wall which is perfect because the Boca Museum of Art is just a few doors down. I stopped in for an iced latte during the Art Festival in Mizner Park. They were slammed but their coffee is always worth waiting for. Although Subculture caters to the coffee experts they are completely accessible to anyone who doesn't care about the correct roast temperature for a specific bean and who just wants to enjoy a cup a great cup of coffee. Warning, once you try the craft java at Subculture, you will never want coffee from those morebucks places again.

Subculture Coffee is a lil coffee spot within Mizner Park. I came to get some work done and found this biz on Yelp! The parking is metered within Mizner Park that you can either pay at the meter or using the ParkMobile app with a max of 4 hours. The inside is small and intimate but has plentiful seating to catch up with friends, take a meeting, or get some work done. They also have some board games set aside, in case you want to play. I loved the interior decor with a huge mural of Salvador Dali (one of my fav artists). I would note that it was a bit dim inside but that might have been the vibe they were going for? I sat at the long "bench" area with small tables & loved how they had outlets underneath the seat so you can charge your laptops or phones, if needed. As for what I ordered, I got an iced matcha latte (of course) with oat milk and vanilla and a vanilla sprinkle loaf. The iced matcha was okay but loved the presentation of the cup it was in. A great spot to grab a drink or snack!

Nice coffee shop if you don't want to deal with the Starbucks traffic. The desserts are good and the staff are friendly.

She apologized when coming back but it was a little odd, we waited about five mins or so. I told her I was considering the tiramisu latte or the pistachio latte and I was hoping she could help steer me in a direction. I asked what she thought between the two and she clearly found my question odd bc there was a long pause before she said it depends what I'm in the mood for. Which isn't very helpful at all lol. And she said it with a bit of sass, like what a dumb question to ask. I don't think my question was that outlandish, many places have specific favorites or recommendations. After discovering the tiramisu latte relies on the cream top that can only be made using cream and no non-dairy products, I decided against that one. Without the cream top, it's just a vanilla latte she told us. Typically the pistachio latte is made with syrup and a pistachio butter but she said even the pistachio butter is made with condensed milk. We wanted to confirm paying for a pistachio latte would be the same as paying for a latte with syrup added and she said it would, but again she seemed kinda annoyed or impatient by our questions. Not friendly service at all. It came out to $8 for an iced latte ($1 for non-dairy milk) in an albeit cute container but it was just subpar.

It is said to be inspired by French and German culture and this is apparent in the ambiance. As soon as I walked in I felt like I was transported to a quaint European cafe. The Glass cases with beautifully crafted croissants and pastries are hard to ignore but luckily god gave me the strength that day . Anyway , it was a beautiful Florida winter day and I opted to sit in the ample outdoor seating. The barista happily brought my adorable latte out (which had a bear on it! ) and our food as well. I had a quiche Lorraine which was scrumptious and came with fresh fruit and a side salad. This was an adorable find with friendly faces and divine food/ coffee. I will definitely be back when I am in the area.

Super cute & funny beaded purses and specialty food items. We met the owner Lisa and she was so nice! We're dairy-free and we asked which lattes can be made dairy-free (no cow's milk) and she said anything on the menu can be made with oat or almond milk. Even a cold foam she can make with dairy-free milk. I was so surprised by that since most other places have significantly less options when going dairy-free, like cold foam can typically only be made with heavy cream at other cafes. She said she makes everything herself so she can customize it however we want. I was so impressed with that! We went with an iced Mocha Lisa which has white chocolate and pistachio. This is a specialty latte named after the owner herself as it's some of her favorite flavors. We got it with oat milk. There are three sizes, the larger size comes with 3 shots of espresso while the other two have 2 shots. Also appreciate that as at most other coffee shops, a larger size typically just means more milk but the same amount of espresso. The presentation of the drink was stunning, she topped it with crushed pistachios. It was so delicious! They have so many other delicious-sounding lattes on their menu, I was eyeing their honey cinnamon latte, whipped brown sugar latte, or their seasonal blueberry muffin matcha. Such unique flavors! I wish I was in town longer so I could come here daily to try all of them. I also got some chocolate covered pistachio-filled dates that I'm so excited to try. Yum! Such nice service and delicious & unique coffee drinks! Definitely worth stopping by.
