We stopped in for a quick afternoon coffee. I went with a macha latte, and my friend went with a (cafe) latte. Slightly sweeter than expected. The restaurant's nice, a bit loud inside as there were a few teens chatting away with the barista

I came here bright and early on a Saturday morning around 7:30 am before my morning workout to grab a coffee and get some computer work done. The ambiance was clean, quaint, and welcoming. Loved the interior design as well. I ordered a coldbrew with almond milk and 2 pumps of sugar free caramel. The coffee had a balanced flavor and was very smooth & fresh. I ordered the larger size which came out to be a bit above $7. The service was quick, got my coffee in a few minutes. The barista was kind and courteous. I sat on the barstools for a while. There was free WiFi. Great experience! I will absolutely be back.

Wow, wow, wow. That's the only way to describe my reaction the moment I stepped into this coffee shop in Boca. I was completely surprised, in the best way and it far exceeded my expectations. Their coffee is truly one of a kind. They offer a variety of unique flavors that would be hard to find at most other spots. The ambience has an industrial vibe, reminiscent of a cozy New York café, dimly lit, warm, and inviting. My barista, Sam was kind and patient, taking the time to walk me through their menu. As a coffee connoisseur, I decided to try the lavender honey latte. They use real lavender extract and authentic honey, and you can definitely taste the difference. It was hands down one of the best coffees I've ever had so good that I'd go out of my way just to come back for it. If you're in the area, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

As I was in the area and had never stopped here, I decided to try this coffee shop. It is a one bay shop with seating both inside and outside. A young man stepped up to one of the registers and asked what I was going to have. I told him that I wanted a large hot coffee with creamer. I also told him that I would have one of the blueberry muffins in the glass case. He asked if I wanted it heated and I said yes. He gave me my coffee and I sat at a table. He arrived at my table a few minutes later and I thought he would put my muffin on a plate (like the other customers had their food served to them). He threw a bag on my table and announced my food had arrived. The muffin was very hot and he didn't offer me a fork and a knife that I once again observed other customers using. He never came back to see if everything was okay. The muffin was mostly cake with some blueberries. I felt that the young man needed a course in customer service. I was not impressed with this shop. Considering there is a Latin brunch restaurant next door that was busy, this shop needs to improve their customer relations.

A chill, laid-back coffee shop where you can relax and enjoy your coffee while on a computer or engaged in a deep conversation. The baristas are good, and the drinks are well prepared. Service is counter-style. Tipping, although encouraged, is totally optional.

This place is an overlooked gem. The coffee is truly fabulous - it's rich and flavorful without the over roasted taste from other chains. They sell a small selection of sandwiches. I had the Loaded Hashbrown & Sausage Sandwich which was a perfect snack size. My friend had the Caprese Panini which was a more substantial size and served piping hot, melted cheese oozing out. Pastries and muffins are also available. The cafe offers indoor (air conditioned) seating with free WiFi and a few outdoor tables. Highly recommend!

This was a great coffee spot. I'm glad I found this location. I was craving a chai and was near this place. I decided to stop in, and I'm so glad I did. This place offers an array of drinks and snacks. If you're looking for a freshly made drink, I recommend stopping by.

On my way to Orlando, I stopped by Foxtail for a pickup order. The Boca West location was very clean, and I saw quite a few people working remotely there, which made it feel lively. I ordered their iced coffee and customized it with vanilla sweet cream--it was incredible! No sugar necessary; it was just the right level of sweetness. I added a touch of cinnamon for a little kick, and it was perfection. I tried the oatmeal pie, which was delicious (and vegan!), though it was a bit too sweet for me to finish in one go--I saved the rest for later. The egg and sausage breakfast sandwich was just okay--not bad, but not something I'd rush to order again. Overall I highly recommend this place for coffee lovers!

In the area that this is located in, it is such a great spot since it does open up earlier than other coffee shops (excluding Dunkin & Starbucks). I love the rustic feel of the place. The wood and metal gives it such a cozy vibe. The art on the wall is very enticing to a person like me that gravitates to places that are artistic in some way. The baristas that I have encountered at the time I visit the place have been very pleasant and friendly and the coffee and baked goods have been delicious. On my first trip I had the Holiday Cookie Coffee with steamed breve with a turkey sausage patty, egg & cheese on a bagel. So good. I can honestly say that it is a great early morning coffee spot to get work done and have breakfast.

The vibes are so good here. But I think you probably need to know "what to get" in order to get something good. I got a lavender London Fog, but they use lavender bitters so it was a very bitter drink even with simple syrup. My husband got a vanilla caramel cold brew and he said it was good, but not great. 4 stars because the vibes are too good for 3.

I tried Foxtail for the 1st time. I can't believe I've driven by here so many times and never stopped in. It's off of Glades Road In the Marshalls/ Publix Greenwise shopping center and right next door to Jeramiahs. I was impressed and really liked everything here. Inside is super nice, relaxing with a cool vibe and very clean. The staff is awesome and the iced coffee is amazing. They roast their own coffee and it's far better than the competition. Great place to bring your computer and do some work in the afternoon.

I love coffee. I really do..when you walk in it is a charming place. I thought I would try something new so I ordered a lavendar bitters latte. I did not enjoy it, but that is no ones fault it was my choice. I will try this place again and order just a latte.

We got a large iced coffee with butterscotch syrup, and oatmilk. There was only one lady behind ghe counter. But they weren't that busy. She took our order, and handled the transaction at the register, and then proceeded to make our coffee. It was made very quickly and tasted great. The place was clean, neat and welcoming. Their seasonal menu looked very unique and sounded wonderful. I'll have to try them next time.

When you try to customize syrup on their order site, it appears to change you .75 cents PER PUMP?! I am used to getting 3 pumps of SF vanilla at Starbucks and it definitely does not cost $2.25! I ended up not placing the order. Can anybody confirm?

Hi. It should only be .75 cents total. Let me see if we Dan adjust this. I apologize and please come in and you will have no syrup charge if you let the barista know!

I ordered an iced cappuccino with whole milk and honey (they only offer 2 milks - whole and a homemade cashew milk). We got our drinks and proceeded to the beach. Sip 1, I started to feel funny and thought there was no way they didn't put whole milk in my drink. 2nd sip, and my whole body began to sweat, throat started to tingle, and I began losing strength and energy. Surely enough, the barista had made my drink with the homemade cashew milk. I'll spare you the details of the proceeding traumatizing events of my anaphylactic shock, but I am thanking the lord I was with people I love, had my EpiPen, and that the ambulance EMTs, and doctors at Bethesda Memorial ER were wonderful and attentive. I would like to acknowledge who I believe was the owner. He overheard my sister run into the cafe to ask the barista what kind of milk was in the drink. After she left the barely-drank drink on the counter and ran out, he chased us down the sidewalk when we were rushing back to our hotel and offered us Benadryl he had on hand. Obviously, he did not realize how severe the situation was and the Benadryl exited my body just a few minutes later, but it was kind of him to do. I am writing this review as both a warning to patrons to verify the ingredients in their drinks before drinking them if they have life-threatening food allergies like me (I obviously wish I had heeded my own advice). I am also writing this as hopefully a wake-up call for the employees of Deke's: food safety is your #1 priority as a food and beverage establishment. You offer only TWO milks. I asked for one of the milks, and you gave me the other, which was a milk made with 1 of the country's 9 major food allergens (tree nuts). This is not a situation of me not liking my drink - this is a matter of life or death. I was lucky enough to be with people I love and have a life-saving medical device at my hotel that I was able to use when my body was being deprived of oxygen and shutting down on itself. Some people are not so lucky. While I am sure you take pride in the drinks you are making, I am urging you to take more care for the people who are drinking them.

A roaster bearing the name of…read morean Indigenous people -- the Calusa, the ancient shell-mound builders, the unconquered lords of South Florida's mangroves and waterways. People who never surrendered. People whose bones are folded into this very soil. As someone who walks through this world carrying Taíno blood and the memory of peoples whose names colonizers tried to erase, that word hit different. It wasn't a gimmick. It wasn't a logo. It was a declaration -- that this land has a story older than any espresso machine, and somebody here understood that. That understanding alone earned my curiosity and my respect before I'd even stepped through the door. "The name carried the weight of a people who never bent. That's the kind of legacy worth building a roastery around." Then I learned the story behind the man behind the roaster -- and it only deepened my respect. Luis Arteaga came home from serving in the United States Marine Corps and did what so many veterans do: he looked for work. No fanfare. No red carpet. Just a man with discipline in his bones and calluses on his hands, trying to find his next mission in a civilian world that doesn't always know what to do with people like that. He found his way to the original owners of Calusa Coffee Roasters. They saw in him what the Corps had always seen -- dependability, grit, and a willingness to learn. They gave him a job. A floor to stand on. And Luis did what Marines do -- he didn't just fill a position, he grew into something greater. Over time, through sweat and dedication and an unmistakable passion for the craft, he rose to become the owner of the very roastery that once took a chance on him. That's not a business story. That's an American story. A veteran's story. And it's exactly the kind of origin that makes a cup of coffee taste like something more than coffee. CALUSA COFFEE ROASTERS IS A SOUTH FLORIDA INSTITUTION Fast forward to today, and Calusa Coffee Roasters isn't just surviving -- it is a staple. Walk into the right cigar bar on a Friday evening and someone at the table will mention the name. Sit down at the right diner counter on a Tuesday morning and a regular will nod toward that familiar bag. In South Florida's rich, layered, cafecito-and-culture coffee landscape, that kind of word-of-mouth is earned over years of consistency, of showing up, of never letting the cup get small. Luis continues to build something that belongs to this community -- rooted in the terroir of a region as complex and layered as its people. The coffee is exceptional. Bold where it should be bold, nuanced where it earns it. The kind of roast that makes you sit down instead of rushing out. That's no accident. That's someone who respects the craft because he was forged in institutions that demand nothing less than your best. "When a Marine finds his mission in a roastery, every bag he puts his name on carries the same standard -- do it right or don't do it at all." Meeting Luis was one of those moments I didn't expect to move me the way it did. We are both moving through the coffee world trying to build something that means something -- something rooted in identity, in service, in the belief that what's in the cup should tell a story worth hearing. And here was a fellow Marine who had walked a road I recognize: uncertain ground, earned footing, and a refusal to quit. And finally, if you are in South Florida and you have not made the pilgrimage to Calusa Coffee Roasters on Commercial Blvd, you are overdue. Go for the coffee -- stay for the story. And if you're lucky enough to meet the man himself, shake his hand. He earned it in more ways than one. To Luis Arteaga and everyone at Calusa: thank you for carrying a name that honors this land. Thank you for honoring the service that shaped you. And thank you for a cup of coffee that carries the weight of all of it without spilling a drop. Semper Fi, brother. Keep roasting.

Argyle coffee has been popping up all over the place and for some reason my husband thought that…read morethey had a coffee shop. So we did a few drive bys trying to find the shop. Lol One Saturday after a horrible breakfast experience, we decided to do another drive by and noticed the doors open. So we parked and proceeded to go in. We were immediately greeted by Manny, the owner. He had just opened up and was getting ready to start his day. Felt kind of bad walking in but he was gracious enough to give us a tour of the shop and even explained the roasting process and what each machine did. As if the tour wasn't enough, he even offered to give us a private cupping session. It was so awesome! We learned the proper way to make coffee and had the opportunity to try some. Ended up tasting the Ethiopia and Colombia. The Ethiopia was nice, light, and had an interesting flavor. It was like tea and I enjoyed drinking it as is. The Colombia was also tasty but on the bolder side. Fun Fact: did you know... bitter tasting coffee can be caused by the water being too hot or by over steeping. Delicious coffee... Super nice owner... recommend stopping in and getting your bag of beans! This location is not a shop! Lol But they welcome customers to come in to buy coffee bags and hang out.

This is not a coffee shop but a wholesale outlet for coffee beans. On Saturday he will sell coffee directly to the public in 12 ounce bags or more. You'll learn about variety and regions, complex and simple flavors as well as how to store and prepare your Java. If you want decaf, cream or sugar then this is not your place. The atmosphere is simple and that works fine. Just as Manny says 'if you feel like you might lose an organ, you're in the right place'. I was in the right place and the taste of the coffee was well worth the treasure hunt to find this coffee pro.
