I came here after going to the Boca Raton GreenMarket for a quick pick me up. When you walk in, the music is incredibly loud. It's like a club inside of a coffee shop, so I wouldn't recommend studying or getting work done here. Decor was clean and minimal. Service was okay, the cashier looked like she wanted to be anywhere but there. I ordered the Banana Tres Leches coffee. It was okay, I would rate it a 7/10. It wasn't the best coffee but it wasn't the worst. The banana flavor was very faint and the coffee was milkier than I expected. Overall, I would come to expresso joint if someone asked me to but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

The whipped honey latte is to die for. It was easily a 10/10. I could understand why this spot was packed and I will definitely be back.

Coffee was good, but not great. I ordered a honey latte and did not taste any honey in my drink and paid almost $9. The ratio of espresso to milk for that price point was not great in my opinion. It also took quite a bit to order and then a while to get our ordered drinks. Staff was nice however, but good thing I did not have anything planned after my visit because it was taking a while. Shop itself is very cute and in a nice location. Sitting area outside was very comfortable and plenty of areas to sit. They have a self service water station with lemons which was nice.

The Espresso Joint is a lively, cozy little spot nestled between shops and restaurants in downtown Boca. It was packed when I stopped in, but things moved along quickly. The baristas were friendly and gave thoughtful recommendations for my first visit. I enjoyed my breakfast sandwich (egg, bacon, avocado) and my Think Pink smoothie (raspberry, banana, dragonfruit) as I got some work done on my laptop. Check it out to see what the craze is all about!

Sea salt Spanish Latte and Banana Dream Latte for my fiance. Both drinks were pretty good- you can taste the underlying flavors and subtly sweet. The indoor seating area is small but big enough to accommodate around 20 people. The tables were nice and the vibe was pleasant as well. The employees were very friendly but more importantly the customers that go here were super courteous of others, something that can't be seen in Fort Lauderdale area. Please give this place a try yourself. Let me know if you enjoyed it. There are parking garage but we ended up parallel parking today.

Stopped by Espresso Joint in Royal Palm Place on a Sunday and had a great experience. I ordered a café latte and their Oates breakfast treat -- both hit the spot! The vibe here is really cool -- definitely a hip, welcoming place with a mix of young people hanging out, working on laptops, and even a few parents with babies in tow. I had downloaded their app to collect rewards, but there was a little hiccup with it not applying properly. I reached out to them via Instagram, and they responded quickly and got it sorted out -- great customer service! Parking was a breeze for me since I came on a Sunday, but I can imagine it might be a little more challenging during peak hours. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and want a chill spot for good coffee and a laid-back atmosphere!

WHIPPED HONEY LATTE (cinnamon salted honey cold foam)

Saw this highly rated coffee shop floating around a few social media outlets and specifically came here today to find out if the chatter was legit. Parking was painless with several free spaces near the cafe. At first glance, the name was clearly affixed to the front of the cafe which had a tranquil red brick patio offering cushioned bamboo style seating with alluring bronze statues of Adam & Eve guarding the side entrance of the "Joint". The cafe had simplistic decor with boxed Boston ferns and bright purple orchids that popped against the greenery producing a zen ambiance. The illuminated red "EJ" logo was affixed on the wall above the complimentary jug of cold lemon water which was a nice gesture. All customers were laser focused on their laptops and sipping coffee which is a common trait in these eclectic cafes. So, not much communal chatter expected, only relaxation. In the mood for a hot espresso but the barista suggested a Whipped Honey Latte as a House Specialty item and the ingredients were intriguing. How can I go wrong with cinnamon, salted honey and a cold foam head for $7.00? Well, I skipped my boring espresso shot and went with the Latte. The cashier advised that the business does not accept cash, which was odd, so forced to pay in plastic. The latte was extremely flavorful but sadly only a few big sips and was left with a cup half filled with ice coated in foam, but still yearned for more. The display case was thinly stocked with only bare offerings of one cookie, two cake pops, two muffins and three slices of pound cake. I take full responsibility for the lean offerings as I arrived post breakfast. The wall menu is easy to navigate and offered Avocado Toast, Paninis, Wraps and Salads as healthy options to nicely compliment a cold flavorful coffee. The bathroom was ultra modern with two-tone marble on the floor and walls. Aside from the applauded contemporary decor, it was in need of attention, which is uncommon when four employees are working during a calm period. A pet peeve that I cannot overlook (see pic). Will return for breakfast to try the Avocado Toast. Polite staff and tasty coffee with only one easy fix to monitor. Although, not an unbeatable 5 star rating today, the 4.5 stars is still admirable.

Welcome to Boca Raton! Espresso joint recently opened a couple weeks ago and has already become a local staple. With prime real estate, they're located in the heart of Boca inside one of the best plazas. As soon as you enter you get a sense of the cool modern vibe for the on the go coffee drinkers. Iced lattes are definitely their thing offering several specialty options, including matcha. My fave is the iced tiramisu, a flavor you don't see often. There's also a full food menu, sweet treats, and local juices outside of espresso. The French toast and banana dream are fan favorites. Most menu drinks come with cold foam: a medium has a double shot or a large 20oz with a quad shot. Most drinks start at $6.50 which is the best pricing I've seen at a specialty coffee shop. I had the pleasure to chat with Mari one of their awesome baristas along with their owner Taylor who took her time to make sure we liked our drinks and told us the Espresso Joint origin story. Female owned local business was the cherry on top. A must visit in Boca!

Espresso Joint just opened about a month ago, and it's already trending on TikTok, here is why...The vibe is amazing. It's a cozy spot with great service and a nice variety of coffee options. Lately I've been obsessed with tiramisu and to my surprise they have a Tiramisu latte! while my friends tried the matcha and strawberry matcha, and everyone was happy with their drinks. What really makes it stand out is the atmosphere, walking around the area feels like you're in Italy or somewhere in Europe. It's not just about the coffee (which is excellent), but also about the experience. A must-visit new gem in Boca Raton!

My first time trying this coffee shop and I really liked their strawberry matcha. They used real strawberries to make it instead of using strawberry syrup which is a plus! Overall it seemed like a very clean place with both indoor and outdoor seating options. The location is great with lots of free street parking!

Banana dream latte with almond milk

In short: quaint coffee spot offering unique lattes and cold brews. I came here with my best friend after Pilates. She said it was newly opened and I could tell because it was pretty busy on a late Monday morning. They have a lot of unique flavor combinations. My friend had the Salted Caramel latte and I ordered a the banana dream latte with almond milk . As the name says, my latte was a dream! It wasn't overly sweet..and the banana cold foam was a nice touch . The service was friendly and fast . The cashier didn't know how many pumps of vanilla were in my latte but he made sure to ask. Overall I would come back again .

    Alexa F.

Got the banana dream which to us had no banana flavor, just cinnamon flavor that was good and made the overall coffee taste a little different. Also got the whipped honey. The foam was delicious but the actually coffee had no flavoring. Cute spot inside. Not a ton of seating.

    Shaken French toast

I recently tried the cinnamon shaken espresso from this coffee shop and thought it was delicious. They have ample seating with lots of places go get work done. They have a big parking lot & is in walking distance of a bunch of stores and restaurants. The service was quick and all of the employees were friendly. This is a great new spot in Boca, I recommend giving it a try.
