The bagel gets 3/5 stars but that might be because we drove 40 minutes home and asked everything for togo. Next time we get to try it again, we will try it while we are there and let you guys know with an update. They had ran out of several bagel flavors when we were there, so this place must be a pretty popular stop for bagels for the locals who live there. The chocolate snack that was loaded with 10g of protein had a nice taste and texture. I will for sure get it again next time. My husband an everything bagel toasted with sun-dried tomato jalapeño cream cheese spread. He too only ate half of his bagel along with some coffee. We shared a piece of crumb cake for dessert. The cake was so moist and the crumb topping a perfect mix of cinnamon and sugar etc. We were able to find a table inside. There's a small area with tables where you will enjoy chatting with your neighbors about what they got (the tuna was highly recommended by one lady) as tables are close together. There's a larger area on an outside patio but it was too hot today for us to be there. Service was very friendly and accommodating by everyone. They are getting popular, so plan on a short wait. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. The café itself is clean, the staff takes orders quickly, and the food comes out fast as well. Most of the staff speaks Russian, which is very convenient for many local families. The only downside during our visit was the gentleman cleaning the tables -- he seemed very unhappy and not very welcoming. He didn't speak English or Russian either (I believe Spanish only). The restroom could definitely use some updating. It was clean, but older, and unfortunately there never seems to be enough toilet paper or soap. The location is convenient with a large parking lot, plus there's a Russian store and TJ Maxx nearby, which makes it easy to turn breakfast into a little shopping trip.

There are your basic sesame, everything and there are a few different types of bagels, like asiago everything and a jalapeño cheddar. For the cream cheese, they have vegetable, plain chive, and then some very unusual flavors that should never be called cream cheese like cookies and cream, cannoli, and cake batter. Now for their story, it's the same as some of the others , we cook bagels all day long, we serve them hot, and it's the best way to eat them so we don't believe in toasting. Sorry guys there isn't a bagel place anywhere in New York that doesn't toast a bagel. I get it... I love hot bagels right out of the oven but when you buy a dozen bagels and you're bringing them home or to work by the time you get there, they're not hot anymore. There's limited seating inside so if you want to experience a hot bagel while you spread your own cream cheese it's available. He sells croissants both sweet and savory, cinnamon rolls, cakes, coffee cakes, tarts, pies, cookies, and cupcakes. Everything is made in house with quality ingredients. He also sells espresso and specialty coffee drinks. There is a counter with some stools if you want to eat in and there is a small table outside. Based on Holly S.'s visit and recommendations I asked for a chocolate chip cookie and a slice of coffee cake. While Jason was packaging my treats I couldn't help but admire an individual carrot cake and a chocolate cupcake topped with candy bar pieces. I took my baked goods with me to be enjoyed later. When I got around to trying the cookie it was loaded with chocolate and was the perfect amount of chewiness. The large slice of coffee cake had a tender crumb and was swirled with cinnamon sugar goodness. The cake slice and cookie was only $7 which seems like a bargain compared to what some bakeries I have been to have charged. It is hard to run a small business, especially these days, so come out and support Jason. if you want to order a custom cake he needs 48 hours and you can place your order on his website.
