I've been wanting to check out this brunch spot for a while, and I'm so glad I finally did! The decor is absolutely stunning. Every area has its own unique style, but somehow it all comes together beautifully #instagramready The menu has a little bit of everything from teas, coffees, sandwiches, toasts, classic breakfast staples, and plenty of other brunch options. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented with an orchid in every plate. We were a large party; of 18 women, and our server, Hector, was amazing. Taking care of a large party is not easy, but he was incredibly patient, organized, attentive, and always had a great attitude. He made sure everyone had what they needed, and was even part of the big surprise for the guest of honor. We definitely had an amazing time and never felt rush to leave. Modern rose is a great place to have a good time with family and friends.

My family chose Father's Day to try The Modern Rose out. I had visited their booth at the Delray Beach Market years ago, so I was interested in seeing how they had grown. The atmosphere was absolutely adorable. I felt like I was in a retro teahouse - the colors were vibrant and celebratory, exactly what we were looking for on a special day to celebrate my father. There were so many dishes and drinks to choose from. I stuck to my typical iced Americano, which was bold and fresh and a great start to the meal. My father and I both chose the Tulum sandwich. I'm not someone who enjoys sweet breakfast, so I'm glad that sandwiches were available. The sandwich was absolutely full of textures and colors. The flavors went well together, but both my father and I felt like it lacked a little bit of heat. I asked for Tajin, because I thought that it would be a really good addition of sourness and spice, but unfortunately, Tajin was not available. The selection of hot sauces, on the other hand, was fantastic, and both my father and I slathered our sandwiches in hot sauce. The service was fantastic. For such a busy day like Father's Day, our server was on her toes from beginning to end, tending to a number of booths, but making us feel like we were her top priority throughout our experience. As others have mentioned, parking is a problem, but to be fair, I need the steps. :)

Okay... wow! That's how I'm going to start my review. It's one of the best breakfasts I've had this year, so much, I tried to recreate it at home because this place is about 2 and 1/2 hr from me. Amazing cute spot, very antique and colorful. We sat at the bar, I ordered The Tulum Sammie and it was delicious! I just can't describe how tasty it was, I crushed it in less than 5min, I did not care how messy it got. I also ordered a lavender latte and it was amazing! I'm definitely going back and try more stuff, so worth it! The service was so nice too!

I have been meaning to check this place out. I had some friends come into town and I decided to take them here for breakfast. Wow. This place is an amazing. There's many options for food, teas, drinks and the like. I got one of the toast flights. Service was great. The ambiance is really nice, it's flowery and they have a variety of where you can drink coffee and hang out too which I loved. Not many coffee bars around here. Definitely going to be back.

I stopped for a coffee. And trust me, the coffee was more than "just a coffee." It was a masterpiece of creativity and execution! Brown sugar, boba, to die for! And while it was being prepared, I read the menu. My bad. I couldn't resist the flight of toasts. Four unique flavors on one board! The pictures tell lots, but your taste buds will bring you back over and over again.

I went to The Modern Rose for brunch on Sunday. It's very hard to get a table on the weekends unless you have a reservation. I was lucky enough to get two seats at the bar, which was surprisingly roomy and comfortable. Service was lacking a little. I think because we were at the bar, we didn't receive the same level of attention as the tables. While it took a little long to order, the food was excellent. I ordered the modern egg sandwich with an over medium egg, and the egg was cooked perfectly. I also ordered the blue Maui tea, which was not too sweet and very flavorful. From the dining room, to the food, to the drinks, everything is designed beautifully, and it truly is such an awesome experience dining here!

The Modern Rose may look less than average in the outside, but stepping in is like going through the wardrobe to Narnia! It is an elegant little coffee shop decked out with lush florals. The deep shades of reds and pink create an ambiance that immediately makes you want to snuggle up with a delicious, warm coffee. The staff here are incredibly friendly. I came with my daughter and noticed several others mamas with strollers! They were more than accommodating, places us in a cozy booth with plenty of room for my stroller next to the table. The menu is beautifully decorated and has more beverage choices than I could ever imagine! Check out the photos on yelp if you are curious about specific coffees, as they all have unique presentation and garnishes! Everything we ordered exceeded my expectations. The rose latte was creamy, not too sweet, and the perfect boldness. I drank about half and then took a hot cup to go shopping! My Better Than... croissant may have been pricey, but it was totally worth it. I really appreciate how much time was put into the presentation of this croissant. It was drizzled with honey and garnished with almonds, stuffed with warm Brie cheese and fruit. Absolutely amazing!!! My mom for the coffee cake and cleaned her plate. Whether you are a coffee enthusiast or a tea lover, this coffee shop has something for everyone. It's more than just grabbing a bite to eat or drink, it's a total experience worth having.

This is such an adorable shop. The decorations are delightfully girly and you feel like you've enter Alice and Wonderland's tea party. The service is friendly albeit a little slow because they are always packed. On our first visit we tried the sampler of both the sweet and savory toasts and they were delicious. Highly recommend the fun coffees as well. This is a great place to treat yourself to something fun and unapologetically over the top.

Went with a few friends to celebrate my friend's birthday. The place is very clean, and has a very feminine vibe. Lots of floral decor everywhere. Coffee mugs of different floral designs. Food is served on wooden boards. Every one was happy. Food looks visually beautiful, many fruits on breads etc. parking is a problem!! Custom service is good. Not cheap, but you are paying for the experience. They over charge the Tax.

Lavender Latte

This place feels like stepping into a whimsical tea-lover's daydream. The decor alone is worth the visit-the ornate teapots, florals details, and cozy, eclectic touches everywhere you look. It's the kind of spot where you keep noticing new little details while you're sitting there, which makes the experience feel special and intentional. I ordered the lavender latte, and I was pleasantly surprised by how balanced it was. The floral notes were gentle and aromatic without tipping into "soapy," letting the coffee still shine through. Definitely a wi for anyone who likes lavender but fears it being too much. Food-wise, I had the omlette Genovese. It was solid-fresh, well-prepared, and satisfying-but not particularly memorable compared to how exciting the rest of the menu looks. That said, there were plenty of other creative and eye-catching dishes on the menu that I'd absolutely come back to try. Service was okay: nothing standout, but nothing off-putting either. Overall, this is charming spot that shines brightest in atmosphere and creativity. Even if one dish didn't wow me, the vibe, drinks, and tempting menu make it a place I'd happily revisit.

Super cute brunch spot in Delray! People definitely come for the unique style and decor. The food didn't quite impress me. A lot of items on the menu lean on the sweet side, so if you don't have a sweet tooth think twice about what you're gonna order. That said it was a good breakfast with a fun twist. Their espresso is perfect to kick off the morning! Service is okay, it can take a little while to be greeted and food takes longer than expected, specially on weekends of course. Nothing terrible, just something to keep in mind. Will be back!

Interior design

What a wonderful brunch spot! The modern rose was chosen by a close friend of mine and I was blown away. As soon as you walk in, the interior design is fabulous! Flowers, Christmas decorations and very beautifully decorated statues, sculptures and lamps. I couldn't stop looking around at everything. There was so much in the detail! I ordered the iced lavender latte with almond milk to start. It was a mix of lavender, vanilla and espresso. It had a very floral taste! For the main course, I got the blooming breakfast which came with a slice of toast doused with fruit spread that was like a jam consistency topped with strawberries, blueberries and chia seeds. I got 2 eggs overhard on the side. It was delicious and fresh! My friend ordered the modern egg pizza which I took a bite of! The flavors of mozzarella, prosciutto, basil, pesto, 2 eggs and balsamic glaze on naan bread was such a perfect blend. Really nice to split this. Overall, the service was great and I had a wonderful experience. I will definitely be back!

My girlfriends and I visited The Modern Rose in Delray for Saturday brunch, and we loved the eclectic English tea-room décor. Parking was limited, so we had to park about a block away, and the place was very busy with parties and weekend brunchers. The staff was friendly and handled the rush well. I ordered the egg white omelette with bacon and a lavender cappuccino--everything was delicious. The only issue was the Ezekiel bread substitution; my server said no, so I paid extra for a croissant, but the owner later told me there were other options. She was extremely pleasant and checked in on several tables, which I appreciated. Their creative menu of teas and coffees is a standout, including fun flights, though you can't customize them. Overall: great vibe (4/5), tasty food (4/5), clean bathroom, and about $40 per person. We'll definitely be back to try more!

The vegetables sandwich that I ordered had so much oil but fortunately the bread soaked up some of it, so I just discarded the bread. My wife's salad with fish was very good. Also, the fruit served with my sandwich? Just perfectly ripe and enjoyable. One of the things that cracked me up here, being a laid back Texas boy, was over hearing all the incessant, noisy, nasal New York Jewish ladies whining, commiserating and ruminating with each other at the other tables. That was entertaining. I had thought about asking about the homemade desserts but the staff was slammed I guess cause no one came around to check on how things were going and if we needed anything else. Just as well. Counting calories. My tipping default would normally be 20% but today... not sure what I will leave lol.

If you're ordering it as it's intended ( for an appetizer... ) share with a large group. When I went, we were just a party of two so we pretty much filled up on it, but it was so good. No one was complaining! In terms of entrées, their eggs that come with this cheesy hash brown casserole is so good. Strawberry and cream basil French toast also really good... to me, it probably didn't need the basil, as that can be a bit bitter- although it sounded great but I didn't love it... But still a really good dish. However, what happened to me there was the waitress dropped a drink on the floor which splashed up all over me. She right away got me some napkins to clean myself off and while I wasn't thrilled, it happens, whatever. I didn't think too much of it. But then the manager comes over and could not be more apologetic. She kept asking what she could do for us... And ended up, taking off our appetizer from the Bill which I thought was very nice of her. I left there so stuffed and will definitely return because it was great food and a good experience - even though I left smelling a little bit like a bar. 100% worth it!

There is always something on the menu for everyone! Ordering with a large group can sometimes be hard but Hampton Social has it down to a science. Our food and drinks came out exactly as ordered and delicious and timely! Our server did her absolutely best to make sure we had everything we needed even though it was packed for on a Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, on our visit we were impacted by some WiFi issues when splitting the check and had to wait a long time for our checks to come back to us. Which is expected with a large group, but we waited over an hour after we had finished eating to close out. Not to mention while waiting on our checks for this amount of time the fire alarm had gone off and there was not much communicated about what was going on and no one really said anything other than "we don't know what's going on either". Which is kind of scary. I understand that some do these things are circumstantial but when things like this happen at a nicer place, I usually expect to be greeted and informed by the manager. Not a terrible experience but definitely turned a birthday brunch into a bit of a frustrating event. Would definitely return to Hampton Social in the future but not itching to go back.
