The scones are served with jam, lemon curd, and clotted cream. All food is made in-house or comes from a local bakery. Everything tasted very fresh. There is milk and honey on the table. The table is very elegantly set. Our server did an amazing job. He continually checked on us and kept our water glasses full. There is parking in the attached lot. Serenity exceeded our expectations so much that my sisters and I returned for a farewell get together for my sister about six weeks later. The house that Serenity occupies was built in 1916 and definitely adds to the charm of the experience. The gluten free finger sandwiches were also tasty. The chocolate covered strawberry, macaron, and brownie (all gf) finished up a filling tea service. The desserts were store bought and tasted good but they were obviously store bought and were a minor let down. We ended up boxing up some of our sandwiches and desserts to take home to enjoy later! Each of us were given our own large pot of tea to go along with our lunch. Our first visit, I chose Peach Black Tea while one of my sisters tried the Chai Black Tea. We both bought the same teas from the store in the tea house to take home with us as we enjoyed them so much. The individual tea pots are quite large, The tea pots are wrapped in large, colorful cozies to stay warm throughout our visit. My sisters and I sampled each others' tea, of course.
