A true hidden gem! [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is super charming and unique, featuring rustic brick, plant-lined window seating, and vintage book accents.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The fresh, homemade food is amazing. Don't skip the salmon crêpe or the pastries! Pair them with their coffee (honestly some of the best I've tasted). They even have board games and a "Blind Date With a Book" shelf if you want to hang out for a bit. The owner is incredibly friendly and hospitable. 10010 experience! wDefinitely will be returning!

I loooove this place! Everybody is so welcoming, nice and you really feel part of the community. The latte is delicious, [[HIGHLIGHT]]it has a cozy vibe[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and you need to come and try some of their yummy food.

I'm still coming here for Silent Book Club meetings and it's still great. This last time I got EGG BREAKFAST CUP which is whole egg, spinach, tomato and cheese baked as a mini quiche served in a bread tulip with sliced tomato and bacon. I was picturing something a little different in my head, but it was still delicious. I also got my regular iced mocha with coconut milk and very light amount of mocha and it was so yummy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also, during this last visit, it was one of the owners birthdays, and we sang for her, which was really sweet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Truly, a great little café that I would go to more often if I lived in the area.

Service was 4 stars The ambience of the restaurant was a 4.5 There are some toys and drawing area, which is very thoughtful for people with little ones. The coffee was good . The food just OK. The eggs are made in molds. Dishes in general we're not executed very well and very small for the price. We understand that it is more of a coffee shop than a restaurant. However, the prices should reflect this ahead of time to avoid disappointment. Perhaps would return for a coffee to meet a friend someday as the coffee was OK however for pastries or food would have to reconsider .

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute spot. In a parking center with other businesses.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Friendly service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Can get crowded on the weekend.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Quite expensive for the food (got the pastrami sandwich which cost more than NYC and hardly any pastrami). Beverages were tasty.

I had a double espresso and brunch at Byte & Coffee while passing thru to drop of an item of mine for repair in Pompano Beach. I searched on Yelp for a nearby, well-rated cafe and B&C came up. I tried the egg white breakfast cup, the chicken and mushroom empanada, and the raspberry croissant (which I noticed near the register and could not resist with its red raspberry strip of intermixed dough). Very friendly service; the inside displays art for sale and many interesting knick knacks and a piano. It has a very local feel to it. Small outdoor tables are arranged along a narrow strip of sidewalk bordering the parking lot.

A cute lil cafe in Lighthouse Point! I was in the area to drop off some stuff and since I don't get to come around often, I decided to explore and find a spot to work from. This always includes good drinks and good wifi and so after a search on Yelp, I found Byte & Coffee! Parking was super easy since they are situated in a plaza. When walking in, you feel the welcoming atmosphere right away. It was a weekday so it wasn't crowded at all and it seemed like the people that came in were regulars, with the person taking orders drumming up conversations with everyone quite easily. He was super friendly when taking my order and helped me pick up a matcha drink and something to eat for breakfast. I ended up getting the aussie tucker which is a meat pie that is hand-sized. I had to get the beef and mushroom one because it sounded so good. The mood and drink came out quickly and I was able to find a comfy spot to settle in to get some work done. The wifi was reliable and it was a great environment to work in. Overall, such a cute spot in this area and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm around!

This is a cute local coffee shop with a parking lot right outside. I got their signature matcha latte with strawberry cream and it was pretty good. Totally different than the other strawberry matchas I have had in terms of consistency. They used strawberry purée instead of strawberry powder. I like both versions. We also got a brioche bun breakfast sandwich and waffles. Brioche sandwich tasted good but I think the eggs were cooked on a dirty griddle because it had too much grease flavor and black burnt pieces. The waffles were very dry in my opinion. Overall the vibe is nice and they had many other savory and sweet items on the menu.

So I loved this place . But the prices are a bit high . I tried the vegan pie which I think was about 9 bucks ? And I tried the dairy and gluten free waffles and those were like 14 bucks and I felt like that was so steep for the little waffles . The vegan pie was really delicious . And hefty so I understood that price more than the other . I wish they had more vegan options as far as the sweets . The women who work here super sweet . [[HIGHLIGHT]]And the spot is really good and has alot of cool decor[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . I would visit again although the prices were a bit high

What a delightful spot! Finally made it in here recently and it did not disappoint! Only went in for a latte and pastry to-go, but I definitely plan to make it back. The owner was so kind and a pleasure to chat with. (They are from Melbourne.). The latte I ordered was delicious in its simplicity. They use great coffee and milk here. We also enjoyed the coffee cake with its light drizzle of frosting. It was so good, I barely got to try some because my family loved it. I want to try an Aussie pie next time I stop in. The decor is homey and welcoming. It's just so nice to have a local cafe that you can come in with a book and just relax while enjoying an excellent coffee, etc. A great place to meet up with friends and chat. They even have some toys for little ones. Byte & Coffee is a fabulous addition to the neighborhood!

Great new (to us) Aussie cafe...it has a nice laid-back vibe to it. I had already eaten lunch when we stopped in so I ordered a cortado and an almond croissant bit will definielt be back to sample some of their "tuckers" aka meat pies. Pricing and service were both spot on. Do check out their menu...

Cozy dog friendly cafe. Loved the atmosphere. There are a couple bistro tables out front and the indoors has a a good amount of seating and warm, inviting decor. They serve salmon burgers as well as french toast. The pistachio biscotti looked delicious, lots of options to give someone an excuse to come back for more. Located in a place with free parking. A unique and inviting local cafe!

So as I do, I'm going to give you the straight-up view on this place…read more Let's start here. This is not Cuban food. Not even close. The owner was sitting there while we were there, and to be clear, she's Colombian, not Cuban. That matters when you're claiming a Cuban spot, especially in South Florida where people actually know the difference. Now the coffee. I ordered a colada and it came out ridiculously sweet. I'm talking over-the-top, almost undrinkable. We had to reorder it with less sugar, and they didn't even offer to replace the first one. That alone tells you a lot about how they handle things. Then the Cuban sandwich. They put mustard and mayonnaise on it. Let me say that again. Mayonnaise. On a Cuban sandwich. That is straight-up wrong. As a Miami native, I'm telling you, that's an abomination. If you grew up around real Cuban food, you already know that doesn't fly. And if you're defending it... I don't know what to tell you. Lol. Look, I'm not trying to be harsh for the sake of it. But when you call yourself Cuban in a place like South Florida, there's a standard. This place doesn't meet it. Unless you've got nothing better to do, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here for "Cuban" food.

It was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced, bringing instant comfort with every sip. The beef empanada was absolutely delicious. It truly felt like being back in my grandma's kitchen on a Saturday morning, surrounded by warmth, love, and incredible food. If you are looking for authentic flavors and a genuine cultural experience, Cuban Cafe delivers beautifully.

This is your specialty hidden "hole in the wall" place for Peruvian empanadas!!…read more The locals know of this spot and keep it a secret! I was inducted into this secret and I want to share... got an empanada craving? Come here!! There was a looong line for these delicious freshly baked well- filled empanadas... and they also have Peruvian tamales and I saw some nicely robust pan-con-chicharrón sandwiches... what can I say: we will go back to try them! As for this time, we tried and loved the meat empanadas: the filling was nice and full, no skimpy bits of meat: nice serving for $3.50. We tried the chicken tamal and it was okay, but dry but overall a nice flavor, and finally we tried the alfajores that were warmed up at the car and were they were very nice as well. There is a line. There are only 3 tables and 5 barstools on the side... most people order to go, but if you want to eat inside, you have to negotiate with the people sitting at the tables. Do not hesitate to "reserve" your spot. I waited until we were at the top of the line, and someone 6 people behind us with no order had already negotiated and sat at a table... regardless of the fact that she didn't get her food until after we had already finished eating: the table "system" sucked, but we got another one of the tables and most customers take their orders to go, so it was not that bad. Phew! Anyway: I am uncovering the hole in the wall and letting the world know that they can get their fill on empanadas in this little shop in Margate. Enjoy!!
