Very cute coffee and bites in the Publix plaza. The staff are so lovely and attentive! I ordered a spicy chicken empanada, iced Americano, and their spinach pie. The chicken was a little dry, but packed with flavor! Just the right amount of spice. The spinach pie had the most delicious crust. I would prefer more seasoning, but they do have cholula hot sauce so that worked! The coffee used for the americano was great. I will definitely be al to try more menu items.

We got four drinks and empanadas. We got the two iced cloud blueberry matchas, smoothie, and a vanilla iced coffee. The drinks were good, but the smoothie tasted very watered down and liquidy. We got the one with banana, strawberry, and blueberry. They should have probably put more banana to make it thicker. The empanadas were good. My favorite was the breakfast empanada. Inside was cute. It's small, but enough space to sit and do some work or bring the kids. The service was good. The man and women were very nice. We will be back to try more.
A lil cafe in the Northride shopping plaza. Vaella Coffee & Tea is a good spot to stop at if you need a quick drink and bite. They had specials when I came and one of them was pistachio matcha, which is my fav, so you know I had to get it! Parking was simple since this business is located within a plaza. There was seating both inside and out of this cozy cafe. They had a great menu to choose from and I ended up getting an iced pistachio matcha and a tuna avocado sandwich on sourdough bread (you can choose what it comes on or in). I was here to get some work done and take a meeting and was able to connect to the wifi, no problem. There is music playing so keep that in mind in case you do plan to take a virtual meeting or call here. My food and drink came out pretty fast and I did really like the pistachio matcha. If you're a matcha connoisseur, you might want to skip out on it here but I personally liked how they made the pistachio matcha. It was true to taste and they blended the two really well! The sandwich was okay. I usually like sourdough but it is a little tough to eat. I waited a bit to eat it (since I was in a meeting) so that might have contributed to it. It might have been better as a wrap or on other bread. Overall, a cute spot in Fort Lauderdale!

I'm always looking for a good latte that balances sweetness and the coffee flavor perfectly and the pistachio white chocolate was literally PERFECT! From the amount of ice to the sweetness. I considered just purchasing a caramel latte but the young lady at the register mentioned their new pistachio flavor from their winter menu. She was so kind and patient with my questions haha. Needless to say, this will be my new obsession throughout the season. TRY IT!! It's also very clean and calm inside which I always look for in restaurants or coffee shops! As for price, my total was about $7 which seems pretty average compared to most coffee places I try. I will be back again to maybe try their sweets and pastries.
What a delightful find! We were looking for coffee while on vacation and found this little place in the Publix shopping center. Not only is their coffee delicious but their breakfast items are delicious. Highly recommend the breakfast sandwich and empanadas!

Food: So yummy! The pistachio alfajor and cinnamon dulce latte are my go tos. Everything I've had has been delicious, but those two are definitely my favorites! The coffee is such good quality. Ambiance: A nice, quiet little coffee shop with a cozy atmosphere. It's a great place to get some work done, catch up with a friend, or just enjoy some quiet time. Service: Phenomenal! The ladies who own the coffee shop are so sweet and welcoming, and they make some of the best lattes. read more
Vaella has great coffee and even better food. We have gone here for breakfast a couple times. While it is not a place for a quick breakfast, your patience will be rewarded with some of the highest quality breakfast bowls I've had in a coffee shop. On our latest visit, we ordered an açaí bowl, a Greek yogurt bowl, and an iced latte. It took a while for our bowls to come out, and you can see why from the pictures: each was beautifully made with great care. The ingredients were very high quality, especially the fruit. While on the pricey side, they were big, filling, and nutritious - together with the quality of the ingredients, I thought the prices were reasonable. Don't sleep on the coffee either. The espresso in my iced latte was a darker roast than I usually like, but it was complex and not very bitter or acidic. It was a great accompaniment to the natural sweetness of the bowl I had. There is some seating inside, with fresh flowers on the tables - a nice touch that reflected how much care they put into this lovely cafe! read more

I was just visiting the area, passing through Fort Lauderdale, if you will. I looked up coffee shops near my hotel and this one came up. Right away, I was impressed by its simplicity. It's a cozy little cafe. Fantastic service. I tried one of their spicy chicken empanadas. Wow! Tasty. If I had a way to heat them up while in my hotel room, I would have gotten more. I also tried one of the Tostado Argentinos. I liked it. It was very much like a ham and cheese sandwich, but the bread was light. The coffee, you ask? I roast coffee and I do believe I know good coffee when I have it. My latte was terrific! The coffee was smooth and had a wonderful brightness to it. A+ across the board for me. read more

Vaella is a modern, clean, and peaceful Argentine coffee shop with good espresso beverages, a small selection of high-quality baked goods, and a very personable and hard-working owner-operator (Candelaria). I'm not in this area often, but when I am, I like to stop by for a couple of hours with my laptop to enjoy an americano and an empanada. read more

I love finding local coffee shops! I was leaving the dentist and wanted to try a new shop and found this hidden gem on the way home. Upon entering it's well lit so great to come and work or read/relax while drinking your coffee. The staff was friendly and listened to my request of making my latte less sweet which I appreciated. I got their seasonal White Mocha Pistachio Latte (Hot) and a ham and cheese empanada. The empanada was filled and tasted fresh. My only recommendation since pistachio lattes can be hard to find is to do a rim of pistachios, this would have made my drink even better but I will definitely be back. Thank you! read more

Check out VAELLA!!! Under new management and definitely worth a try! They have delicious coffee along with baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, empanadas, pan de bono, etc. Plenty of seating inside and outside and just a nice cozy place to enjoy a speciality latte or perfectly crafted flat white. This is unlike any experience you have had here before, I suggest giving it a shot during your Xmas shopping this season and check out their signature flavors! Such a cozy coffee shop ideal for those that work remotely. They open from 8 am to 4 pm. My friend has been wanting us to go here but I never got the opportunity until last Saturday. We were welcomed by Kandi and she was very helpful in our selections. I got the iced latte and they use a local coffee roaster to make their coffee based drinks. My aunt got the smoothie- it was delicious, it's perfect for breakfast. read more

Vaella is a cute little cafe! I ordered a cafe con leche which was hot and creamy. I also ordered a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant. The ham, bacon and croissant were layered nicely but there was so much cheese that it was melting all over my hand and out of the croissant. I would order without the cheese or request less of it. There was only one person working. An additional employee would've been helpful to keep up with the morning rush but I'd like to come back to try other pastries and coffee selections. read more

I had bookmarked Vaella ahead of my trip to Fort Lauderdale because of the great reviews, and I was not disappointed. The coffee is some of the best I've had in the area, and the food was good as well, but I think the service and genuine friendliness by the owners/employees was the most welcoming thing. They were so nice and seemed actually happy to see us. I didn't get to stay and read or write like I normally would, but the space was perfect for it, and in the late morning it wasn't crowded at all so I wish I could have. But I did order an iced oat milk latte and a prosciutto sandwich (for later) and both were well worth it. You can tell they put lots of care into their food and business. I might need to go out of my way to come back before my vacation is over! read more

We went simple: A Nutella croissant, Hazelnut latte. The experience could not have been any better. Not in Paris, nor anywhere else. Everything served with a smile and that makes everyone's day better. We've also tried the avocado toast and Tostado Argentino, so so good. But the croissant takes the big prize. Thank you, VaElla! I think the location is in a great spot, will definitely come here after running some errands in the plaza. Kind of in between the mix of everything. So, the staff, are extremely friendly, All smiles through out the whole dine in process. My fiancé ordered the turkey panini, and I the ham, which we both really liked. He also ordered a cafe con leche which is a bit strong, he recommended 5 pumps of liquid cane sugar for a medium size and loved it. You can tell he enjoyed it from the picture I had an iced chai tea, very yummy. The food and drinks were on point, but the ambiance and inside interior felt like you're in a safe haven. With the background music they chose it makes sense to think your in a little fairy tale. Great food with great people. Hope this place sticks around !! THANK YOU! read more
