    Iced coffee
    Suzanne M.

What a quaint, upscale breakfast cafe! There were so many delicious breakfast options. I chose the overnight oats, a side of bacon, and an iced coffee. The oats were very filling, and I was grateful the waiter informed me they were served cold. The outdoor patio was very pleasant, with hanging plants and cute seating. This was the last breakfast on our Ft Lauderdale vacation and I'm happy we chose Java & Jam!

Took the drive to Java and Jam as it's been a while and wanted to have a bite in downtown Fort Lauderdale. It was cold outside so outdoor seating was a nice treat especially in south florida. I ordered the chicken biscuit sandwich and it was delicious! The side of hash browns and the flavor of the biscuit made this the breakfast meal I was hoping to have! Just what you hope to have for brunch. So here is the bad part, my server was not very friendly. I felt like my presence was a bother and like she did not want to be at work that day. We were not difficult guests, we ordered fast, we enjoyed our food and left and are easy to serve but for this reason I had to give this place a big knock. Servers make or break a business and while I loved the food, the treatment is enough to not come back. I really wanted to like this experience but there's nothing that makes you feel worse as a customer then being treated like your business and choice to dine there is a bother to a staff member.

Such a cute atmosphere! Make sure you get a reservation or come ahead of time because this adorable space is consistently busy. Service was timely and friendly. I enjoyed the meal, but didn't find it had a wow factor (I'm probably being harsh). Looks beautiful, tastes great, but not exceptional out of this world. Good balance of ingredients. Would definitely try some other menu items if I'm back in the area.

I was in the area so I decided to stop by. On this particular day, a lot of people were standing in line to be seated. It seemed like the hostess was missing for a good while I opted to place the order to go. I ordered an egg scramble, it came with eggs, potatoes, pico de gallo I added cheese and avocado. It was delicious everything paired well it's definitely something that I would eat again. I just didn't like the biscuit. I should've just stuck with the toast. I also ordered a butter beer latte which I also did not like. It had no flavor and that goes for the taste of coffee as well. All in all I will return whenever I'm nearby again.

I had been looking online at this restaurant for a while. The family was off from work and school today, so we figured to pop in for breakfast. The steak and eggs were great, cooked very well. The cheese grits were amazing. The omelette was good, my only suggestion would be to use real eggs instead of egg beaters. The French toast was super filling so we had to take half home. The OJ is freshly squeezed and amazing. The coffee was great also. We are glad that we were able to try this place today.

Let me start by saying this: TikTok did NOT lie. We were told to go to Java Jam, and for once, the algorithm actually cared about our happiness. I pulled up with my family of six, and from the jump this place understood the assignment. The plates are MASSIVE--like "did we accidentally order for the table next to us too?" massive. The quality of the food is outrageous. Dear Lord... every single bite was hitting. I think I sampled everyone else's plate except my own-- just kidding, I destroyed mine too. Now let's talk vibes. The location? Elite. The aesthetic? Chef's kiss. Sitting outside on Las Olas Blvd, downtown Fort Lauderdale as your backdrop, people strolling by, sunshine doing its thing--this is main-character energy breakfast/brunch. Beautiful, relaxed, and somehow still buzzing. And then... GREG. Ladies and gentlemen, Greg is not a server--he's a walking Google Maps, Yelp review, and coffee encyclopedia combined. This man gave us a full rundown of the area, what to order, what NOT to order, how flavors work together, and even had us sampling coffee combinations like we were on a Food Network tasting panel. "Try this with that." "No, trust me, you'll like this." He was right. Every. Single. Time. The man is a genius. Bottom line: Incredible food Huge portions Amazing coffee Prime Las Olas location Service that feels like family TikTok approval confirmed If you're anywhere near Fort Lauderdale and don't stop at Java Jam, that's on you. Highly, loudly, enthusiastically recommended. 10/10 will absolutely be back (probably too often).

This spot reminds me of First Watch but a little more hip to the times. We came on a Sunday and it was definitely busy, so I recommend joining the waitlist if you're short on time or simply hungry and don't want to wait 40 minutes to an hour. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes , they were delicious and cooked perfectly. For my drink, I had the hot churro latte with oat milk. They use Wells Coffee. I'm not a huge fan of Wells personally. It has a more bitter profile and doesn't give the rich, smooth flavor I prefer, but it was still okay overall. My friends enjoyed their meals as well. Great vibes, good food, and I'll definitely be back.

I love the green everywhere. The food was amazing and my server Jackie is outstanding. She touched our table every few minutes to see how everything was doing. I like that is casual and if you want to, you can dress up a bit as well.

After a killer workout, my friends and I were starving and looking for a spot to grab lunch and cowork. We decided on Java and Jam because it was close by and had a varied menu that would satisfy anyone's craving regardless of it it was breakfast or lunch. My friend and I couldn't decide what to get so we got the turkey club and chicken bowl and went halfsies. I loooved the club sando and the chicken bowl was good too. We also asked for a side of aioli for the fries which I totally recommend. Service was friendly and the portions are huge. You can find street parking or garage parking nearby. We sat on the outdoor patito but they also offer indoor seating and grab and go cafe options too.

This place has been on my "to try" list for quite some time. Finally had a moment to get breakfast here this morning. Absolutely loved my eggs Benedict. The iced coffee was great as well. My husband's chicken biscuit sandwich was "good". Biscuit was not his favorite in the area and the chicken was on the dry side. Overall, he said it was a good sandwich but would pick something else next time. We both really liked the hashbrowns. Definitely would come back here again. Service was excellent as well.

Food was good! Basic breakfast is good and tasty. Wa not a fan of the pancake as it was soft and filled with very sweet sauce! Taking one star off for the long waits to get a table. Overall, good place for good breakfast. Good customer service as well.

I still really enjoy this place. Great vibes, good service, and yummy food! The coffees are a little small, but I'll let that slide lol

Delicious food and great service. The eggs, hash browns, and sausage links were cooked perfectly and not greasy at all. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Metered street parking is easy to find.

The first visit was a bar stop, and it set the tone immediately. The mussels in a white wine, lemon, and garlic broth were classic and executed at a high level. Served piping hot with sourdough, it delivered exactly what you want from a traditional dish. The smash burger was equally impressive. Two patties, cheddar, pickles, and perfectly cooked. It was good enough to disappear before a photo was even an option. Thick-cut fries complemented it well. Dessert closed strong with an Oreo cookie pie that was rich, creamy, and paired with Oreo ice cream. A highlight was getting a look at the upstairs speakeasy. It adds a differentiated layer to the concept with live music and a more energetic atmosphere. That experience alone created a reason to return. On subsequent visits, the restaurant delivered at a higher level. The tableside Caesar salad brought both presentation and flavor. Steaks were cooked properly and paired with thoughtful accompaniments, reinforcing that the kitchen can execute across categories. From a bar perspective, the only gap is the lack of Italian reds by the glass. That said, the Thursday half-price bottle offering offsets this, and the bottled list includes strong Italian options. Bottom line: Sunness Supper Club delivers on food quality, atmosphere, and repeatability. It has quickly moved into regular rotation and earns that position.

We were coming from Hallandale, we had an 8pm reservation got seated around 815 which wasn't too bad. We were sat in a dimmer quieter section away which I really appreciate since our 1 year old was sleeping giving us the perfect date-night setting. Unfortunately the last time we been to Shooters was Valentine's Day 2025. We weren't aware that the menu had been changed since our last time dining which was rather unfortunate since the two entrees (seared brown butter scallops & shrimp and grilled soy-ginger glazed salmon) we came for were changed on the menu. We ended up getting the soy glazed salmon and scallops & prawns which unfortunately we did not enjoy at all. Even the sides were different previously you could just get a side of Mac now you can only get a side of truffle Mac? The grilled soy ginger salmon was on a bed of veggies (bok choy, Napa cabbage, onions, peppers) the one that's currently on the menu was basically on two inedible pieces of bok choy and a bed of rice I couldn't even break and chew the bok choy. Our server Ava was very attentive and sweet even gave a beautiful little treat for a birthday dessert ( not a chocolate fan but her energy made the dessert amazing ). After we paid our check we asked Ava for a manager and did specify that it was regarding the food more and not her service. I didn't catch the name of the manager we spoke to but her response to us simply questioning the menu change was she's not the culinary director or something along those lines but she would still hear our feedback. She just had such an I don't care attitude about it in my opinion and had I not had a few drinks in my system, trying to enjoy my time out with my family and birthday I would've let her know her attitude regarding it just was unnecessary. We unfortunately agreed to find a new go-to restaurant to celebrate our special occasions since so much has changed. Thank you so much to Ava for making our visit worth it! Didn't get pictures of the salmon, scallops, drinks or oysters that we got but I did get the fish dip and the dessert. Edited to add pictures from one of our previous visits

For dinner, he got the honey chicken Sammy with sidewinder fries, and I went with the chimmichurri steak frites with curly fries... SO good. Everything came out piping hot, quickly, and you can tell the food and drinks are really thoughtfully crafted. What stood out most, though, was the customer service. The three main staff members Drew, Mel, and Darian (I think?) were incredible. Every single one of them went above and beyond for every guest the entire time. When we arrived, there were just a couple tables outside, but once it started raining, they seamlessly accommodated everyone inside without missing a beat. The vibe is such a cool mix, neighborhood spot meets speakeasy meets tiki with a slightly elevated feel, but still super comfortable. Everyone in the place seemed to know each other or quickly became friends. The music was great, and by 7:30 the live entertainment started, he was funny, engaging, and talented. We got there just in time to catch the tail end of happy hour for our first drink, and from there it just kept getting better. Drew, the bartender, even went out of his way to make me a specialty drink I had seen on Yelp that's no longer on the menu, such a thoughtful touch. By 7:30 on a Wednesday, the place was packed, which says everything. Exceptional service, amazing food, great drinks, and an all around fun, welcoming atmosphere. We'll absolutely be back.

Each patty was super thin and cooked well to the point it was crispy and falling apart. It didn't have much fat to hold the patty together but it was good. The bun was also dry and a bit hard. Not the best smash burger I've ever had but the flavor was good so I was satisfied. I chose a Caesar salad as a side which was good. The wagyu burger came with fries. The fries were very good. Crispy on the outside and soft and meaty on the inside. The Wagyu burger itself was just okay. There were pieces of hard fat that wasn't pleasant to chew on. Everything was just okay. If you're out and about in the park enjoying a game or exercising and get the munchies, The Federal is super convenient to pop into with decent American bar food. We opted to sit outside, since it is waterfront and even though it was a hot summer day, it was surprisingly manageable since our covered table made all the difference while we enjoyed the stunning waterfront views. Not only was it delicious and refreshing, but the presentation was absolutely stunning . a real rose embedded inside an ice cube. It was almost too beautiful to drink... almost. For appetizers, we went with the Tropical Ceviche and the Tuna Tacos, and both were incredible. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and I loved the mango touch that both dishes shared as it added the perfect tropical sweetness. Then came the entrees, we shared the Shoyu Glazed Sea Bass served with a rice pilaf, edamame purée, bok choy, and shiitake mushrooms, this fish was literally melt-in-your-mouth perfection. We also shared the Lobster Diavolo Pasta which was equally impressive and packed with generous chunks of lobster throughout the pasta, plus a whole small lobster to crack into. And then there were the side of Brussels Sprouts ... honestly, I never thought I'd be raving about a side dish, but here we are. Served shredded rather than whole, and tossed in the most incredible sauce, these were hands down some of the best Brussels sprouts I have ever had in my life. A must-order. I loved the artichoke appetizer - unique way of serving them and the cream sauce was delicious. I ordered the full snapper it was so good, perfectly golden crispy on the outside and tender meat on the inside. I would have loved the option to pair it with something besides rice but the dill rice itself was really good. Mostly the sides are à la carte. The bolognese was also delicious, as was the swordfish. The bread is also sweet and delicious, used to be free, now it's $8 for a tiny loaf. Overpriced for some bread. The full snapper was $59, most entrees are 40-50. I guess you also pay for the setting and view. Good experience overall, this was my second time at boatyard and I'm sure I'll be back again.

After…read morewaiting for some time, an employee who was not our server came over to take our order, and another staff member brought our drinks and food. Our actual server only checked on us once during the entire meal. We ran out of water and, after being unable to get anyone's attention, I had to go from my table to the kitchen myself to ask for refills. At one point, our server walked around to other tables with a pitcher of water and skipped ours entirely. We also wanted to order another round of drinks, but since our server never returned, we again left our table went directly to the bar ourselves. When our food arrived, we were not given silverware and had to ask get up from our table again and ask the hostess for it. The manager eventually came over and explained that they were "really busy" and mentioned that she would "take care of us," but nothing was ever done. The only time our server returned to the table was to drop off the bill, which was not adjusted in any way. What was most disappointing was not simply the lack of service, but the fact that both the server and manager were clearly aware of our experience and never offered a genuine apology or showed much concern beyond saying they were busy. I understand that restaurants can get overwhelmed, but the complete lack of attentiveness and follow-through made for a very poor dining experience.

All-natural, all-tasty, all in!!…read more Ever dream of simple ingredients, bold flavors, balanced nutrients, and convenient delivery... cool, you dreamed of Naked Farmer!! After a long day of travel, we didn't want to venture out of our hotel again or pay for another Lyft. The Naked Farmer offers delivery and... yeah... the food smacks too!!! We both ordered Build Your Own Plates to ensure the we could try as many times as possible. BYO Plate 1 - Golden Quinoa, Maple Glazed Carrots, Green Beans with Crispy Shallots, Honey BBQ Chicken, Garlic Aioli BYO Plate 2 - Brown Rice with Parsley, Roasted Sweet Potato, Charred Broccoli, Rosemary Roasted Chicken Breast, Garlic Aioli First, the plating is phenomenal. The perfectly tuck each item into its own area to avoid the seasonings from getting too crossed and.. they pack it full!!! The aioli is in a separate container and it is YUMMMYYY!! Both chickens were tasty. Honey BBQ was thighs and they were juicy without too much fat. Rosemary Chicken was tender and quality meat. All of the veggies were amazing. The flavor packed into the carrots is amazing.. smoky, spicy, and maple! The sweet potatoes still in the skins, but soooo sweet without any need for added sugar. I wish that this place existed up in PA! We also grabbed a Mint Lemonade - which I didn't realize would be bottled by Naked Farmer - full flavor, no added ingredients. We also had to get something sweet. That chocolate chip cookie... WOWWW... the chocolate was layered in and the dough had a sweet crunch of brown sugar! The perfect night cap, right to our hotel, and so intricately and meaningful put together that you feel the love... even with delivery!
