We went there for breakfast. For $22, I got a plate of cold scrambled eggs (I wasn't allowed an option on how I wanted them cooked), cold microwaveable sausage links, cold bacon and a cold waffle. I do mean cold. No way this stuff wasn't pre-made a while ago. Oh yeah, part of a banana and one strawberry. Despite what the waiter said, I could tell everything was pre-made. It's about the same quality as the free "continental breakfast" most cheap hotels offer except at the hotel it's still warm and you get refills on coffee and the waffle is freshly made and hot enough to melt butter. No free refills on coffee here unless you buy their "pour over," and then you get one small refill. The strainer for the coffee was stained and filthy when it was brought out, so they're not using fresh ones or even cleaning thoroughly between uses. GF had a meatless omelet and a smoothie. Her omelet was hot so obviously it was made fresh unlike mine. I told the waiter my food was cold and he swore he saw them "take it out of the oven," but nothing I ordered would be cooked in any over other than a microwave oven. Total bill for two: $60+. This was with a 30% discount on my plate for my food being served cold. Honestly you'll have a better, fresher meal at IHOP or Waffle House or Denny's, for a fraction of the price and you'll get coffee refills. read more

The start of the day was sunny out but when we got to this restaurant we learned it is completely seated outdoors. There is no inside. Of course it started to rain right when we got there so the vibe just felt soggy and wet. They do have the tent you sit under and then plastic roll down that acted as walls so the wind will not bring the water in but to me it just looked a little and felt ghetto in my opinion. I wasn't expecting the ambiance to be this way but maybe when it's nice out it's better? I will tell you they have about 20 industrial fans (I think that's what the eyesores were) on the ground to keep air circulation and a mini Fly fan that sits on your table and at every table because like I said it's completely outside. (The kitchen and bathroom are inside.) Our server came attentive and knew to sell us right away on the cheese balls which were really good but comparable to Texas de Brazil. They have no paper menus you have to scan a QR code on your phone to look at the menu Covid style. Overall I was not impressed with the food I don't know if it because what I ordered or what but the scrambled eggs tasted like they were instant from McDonald's and so little chopped up no flavor I do not recommend the eggs at all, and the sausage was definitely grocery store bought jimmy dean! The bacon was good very very thin and crispy which is my preference and The pancakes were actually good and thin how I like but a lot of people like flap jacks style but I liked them. The waffles were dry with no flavor no butter was brought to the table for either. I didn't understand why they cut up the waffle and put it in a basket cause I literally had to take them out one by one and put them on my plate to eat it was kinda strange. The little strawberry and banana was fresh. The Mocha latte was HORRIBLE it was like drinking a tall glass of chocolate milk there was no coffee in there at all! Most expensive glass of milk I've ever bought in my life $9 My friend said the cappuccino was good but they added cinnamon on top which on the menu it doesn't say they do but they still did that anyway and he doesn't like cinnamon so that was terrible. Our bill came to $80 For two of the bulegreen combos, the 3 piece cheese bread, and two drinks (iced mocha and cappuccino) we each paid $50 which is expensive for breakfast and not a lot of food/not good quality food with no option to sit inside during weather events. This is such a gorgeous cafe! Our server was Jojo, and he was very pleasant and made our experience excellent. This entire cafe is outdoors, so it's best to visit during weather where you can tolerate being outdoors. Here are our thoughts of each item: Rosa Latte: I got mine with almond milk, and it was just the right amount of sweet. The rose syrup brings a truly unique flavor that I can hardly describe myself! If you like your tea with milk and honey (or any sweetener) and you also like lattes, you'll enjoy this. Breakfast Bowl: everything was cooked perfectly. I was surprised at the heaping scoop of perfectly ripe avocado on top--I wasn't expecting so much avocado, in a good way. Most restaurants are stingy with avocado. The eggs were fluffy, the bacon was crispy, and everything tasted like an extremely well made home breakfast. The eggs were not salted, which I preferred because I was able to add the amount of salt I wanted. Pancake Sandwich: My fiance ordered this one, and he described it as the perfect blend of sweet and savory. The pancake (bread) was a normal pancake size, which made the sandwich a bit difficult to hold given that pancakes aren't very firm, so some people might find it easier to use utensils to eat this. I tasted the pink mayonnaise, and it tasted homemade! If you like deviled eggs, the pink mayonnaise tastes like fresh deviled eggs. It's lovely. Overall, this was a super pleasant experience. The server that my fiance had last time (I didn't catch his name) also remembered him and stopped by our table to say hello. The prices here are a bit higher for a breakfast cafe, but once you taste everything you'll understand why. While working in the Fort Lauderdale area, I found myself in post office in Oakland Park, and getting peckish. This garden restaurant is across the Dixie Hwy from the post office, making it convenient. I loved it. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. I got the salad with a scoop of tuna salad and a scoop of chicken salad, pictured below. The service was pretty great, and the ambience can't be beat. They know that because it outside but covered, there will be flies, so every table has a wee machine that spins to scare the flies away. Had a chance to stop at this resturant after church today with mi amor. What a wonderful place it is and what an enjoyable brunch/time we had. The Brazilian style coffee served was a unique experience for us. We loved the Brazilian waffle bread served with sweet strawberry jam. If you have ever had the traditional cheese bread served at any Brazilian steakhouse then you know how tasty this combination had to be. I had the pillow breakfast sandwich, which was amazing, and my partner had the omelet, which she said was the best omelet she's ever eaten. What drew me to this place was their Instagram page, reviews , and pictures . I tried this place for Sunday brunch with a group of friends . It was mid June but thankfully they had several fans running and it wasn't too warm. They have several types of coffee drinks and a wide selection of breakfast items. WOW WOW WOW! Bulegreen exceeded our expectations by miles!! We were on a little staycation for the weekend and I found this spot on Yelp as it was highly rated and what a fantastic brunch find! Our whole experience was so incredibly awesome from start to finish. There is an iPad upon arrival where you place your name and # of people in your party and it indicates the waiting time. We only waited 10 minutes to be seated and there were 6 parties ahead of us. Everything was organized. This restaurant is completely outdoors but has adequate covering from rain and the elements. There were a lot of fans as well. The decor was all greenery from flowers to green plants surrounding the whole interior. It felt like being inside of a greenhouse! We ordered the bule of coffee which is a must if you're a coffee drinker! A bule is the name of the tin kettle used in the country of Brazil that acts as a filter method of brewing coffee. They bring the whole pot to the table and it drips before your eyes. It's wonderful! We ordered the pillow sandwich, Texas brisket and the French toast. All of them were AMAZING! I loved how the pillow sandwich came in dough that was shaped like a real pillow! All of the attention to detail was just spot on. The brisket and French toast were 10/10 as well!! The bread that is used for the French toast is very crunchy and tasty. But, as usual, I was not satisfied because the bread was not soaked well in the egg and milk dip. Service was excellent. And it really was the perfect day for a meal outdoors because the weather was cool. My absolute favorite item of the entire meal was the red velvet frappe. I got it with almond milk, because of my lactose intolerance, and it was absolutely delicious. I dare say it is one of the best frappes I've ever had! I would go back just for that frappe. Shoutout to Yelp for their handy dandy waitlist feature which made it sure easy to grab a table on a Saturday morning for brunch. Came here for a birthday brunch to see one of my college best friends and this was a midway point for both of us. We've both been meaning to try this place so I'm glad we finally made out way out here. I knew that Saturday brunch usually gets hectic at any biz so I checked out Bulegreen's Yelp listing and saw that they had a waitlist feature which helped us get seated quickly. Parking can be a bit tricky with a lot in the back that tends to get packed so keep this in mind! When we got to the front, there was a line of people waiting and they actually had a little tablet with Yelp's waitlist feature on it so I'm happy I did this ahead of time on the app! We were greeted so warmly and seated right away. Seating is mainly (if not completely) outside; not sure if there was indoor seating. They actually have fans or some AC units for almost every table, which I thought was a great touch considering south FL weather. They also had fly fans at each table which the servers instruct you on when and how to use them. I loved their attention to detail to make this a five star dining experience, plus loved how friendly the staff was! Their menu is pretty extensive and has a lot to choose from. Well, it's definitely cute, great decor, enough fans, its a "yard cafe". The good: excellent, attentive service, quick seating if you go early (like before 11am), fills up. Definitely a cute family spot or first date cute. This is a fully outdoor but covered. Clean. Parking could be a challenge. Park in back or find street or public. We squeezed in back. Go early. Comfy chairs, could sit for one hour. So what we didn't like: 1. Expensive, cold coffee. We got the signature brew at table. Well both containers were barely warm. We mentioned it and the waiter had the nerve to say " Yep, I thought that water wasn't hot". Ok, why serve it? $7 per person, no sharing, and its medoicre? Quality isnt hard, just takes effort, starts with the waiter. 2. Food. Overall its decent, but nothing special. Sadly at $20 per sammy, you wanted something special, but its all near Dennys quality. No special flavors, all just average. So if you want a basic, decent $20 sammy, go for it. We probably wont return since for that price you can have FIRST WATCH and the prices are same but quality is better, better flavors. 3. Slow. Yes its made to order but our food took 20 to 25 min, we had to ask on it. So for two meals, others were served who got there after us. So, we waited 20 min drinking lukewarm cold coffee for a basic sammy. Thank goodness it wasn't too hot and we weren't starving. If you are on that side of town, stop in, worth a stop but don't walk in expecting to be floored. Expect a basic meal in a cute spot. Two people $50, plus tip for average, so we dont feel the value is there for the taste. Probably Peter Pan was a more flavorful option but it lacks the outdoor cute. So based on what you seek: intimate, cute decor, basic food, go for it. No large portions which was ok, but just lacked flavor that would keep me coming back. Potatoes on my MC sammy just basic, not crispy or any char on them, so lots to be desired. We eat out a ton, and this was a miss on flavor, plus on vibe, clean. Great for business breakfast where food is secondary but vibe, intimate, fairly quiet is wanted. Same for first date, where vibe could mean more than food. Super cute and tasty brunch spot! If you're into brunch, you'll enjoy the atmosphere and the food, coffee, and other selections. I've come here a couple times to have brunch with the girls and every time we had a great time. It's in a small location with a very tight parking lot many of times I've had to go around the block several times in and out of the small parking lot to look for parking.
