Western omelette

Most of the time in the past would be 5 stars but not today. Usually busy but even busier today may be bc of the closing of Michael's, ?. Long wait, 25 minutes, but got in eventually. Laura was our "Army Sargent" server. Les got a western omelet with all raw, yuk, veggies. I got my 2 eggs w sausage and home fries, and all were fine. Waited a long time to get a to go box and pay our check, I went outside to wait for les and smoked a whole cigarette. Finally he came out and said, never again! He said, Laura said he didn't pay and didn't tip. Lol with that argument, she got NO tip. Not going back.

We finally tried this small local diner for breakfast after talking about it for months and were pleasantly surprised. Weekends we pass by and usually see a line waiting outside but we hit it right and got a table immediately. Our server was prompt and friendly. We ordered a sesame bagel sandwich with smoked salmon, tomato and cream cheese along with eggs Benedict and hard to find delicious grits which were another good surprise. There is some seating out front where you can bring your pup, and indoors has a huge mural / photo of the Lighthouse Point lighthouse and surrounding area. I thought the food was really good and the prices to match so we may have found a terrific new breakfast spot. Oh and they also serve lunch! Sorry for pics of the half eaten meals!!

Always an enjoyable time at Red Fox! The food always comes out quick and delicious. They are a popular spot so often have to wait for a seat but it never takes too long!

Everything bagel and cream cheese

This is a great breakfast and lunch café, which has been around for years. The waitresses are very attentive and friendly. I had the nova lox with the bagel, which was very good and they give you a lot of nova lox. they have a large menu for breakfast and lunch, which are moderately priced.

Biscuits and gravy with eggs - A breakfast dish on a white plate includes two fried eggs with slightly crispy edges and a biscuit covered in white gravy with black pepper. The plate is placed on a dark wooden table, with a knife resting on the side. The setting suggests a casual dining environment at Red Fox Diner in Lighthouse Point, FL, known for breakfast and lunch offerings.

What a sweet family restaurant. Great food. Great service even in July 4th. I highly recommend.

Egg white scramble with chicken sausage, mushrooms, feta, & a side of the freshest sliced tomatoes!

We love love love Red Fox! My husband grew up coming here as a child, and since moving to Lighthouse Point this is our new go-to breakfast spot. Clean and updated, this local joint is full of local, friendly faces and mom & pop friendly service. The food is fresh, homemade and delicious! On our last visit I had scrambled egg whites with feta, mushrooms & chicken sausage with a side of the juiciest tomatoes and saved the rest for breakfast the next day (the portions are very generous!). This will be a place we will bring our kiddos to for years to come!

I never knew this diner was here in LHP. Today I got to try it! Located east of US1 on Sample road (on the north side of the road) Red Fox Diner is a staple for delicious breakfast/lunch foods! Open from 6 am until 2 pm you can always pick something thats made fresh and is delicious to eat! I met a buddy from high school here this morning and we started with the fresh fruit plate which had cantaloupe, grapes, bananas and fresh blood orange sections! I ordered the avo toast (minus the 2 eggs it came with). It was packed with fresh avocado, fresh spinach, tomato cubes and a balsamic drizzle atop a slice of whole wheat toast! Delicious!!! My friend Robert had the omlette with salmon, onions and fresh spinach. It looked delicious. He also had the hash brown patties (it came with two) that were cooked golden brown! The spot was packed and we sat at the bar. We both had iced teas to drink and the service was impeccable. We had a waitress that loved music as much as we do and we had a great conversation with her as we feasted. IF you are in the Light House Point area and are hungry for a delicious breakfast or even a lunch spot THIS is where you need to go. Clean and nicely lit with tables and booths as well as counter seating you cant go wrong here! I will definitely return! I probably will sit at the counter again I liked the waitress that much! The food was great too! Take it from Commander Cuisine, this is a great spot when you want that fresh cooked meal with great service! The service part matters a lot to me and our waitress was the tops! You can thank me later!

Steak Veggie Wrap - A meal at Red Fox Diner includes a steak veggie wrap sliced in half, revealing a filling of cooked vegetables and meat, served with roasted potatoes on a white plate. The table also has a glass of water, a pink beverage, a blue mug with the Red Fox Diner logo, and various condiments and utensils. The setting appears to be a casual dining environment with other dishes and drinks visible in the background.

I love this place. The food is fantastic. Everything I had, every time I went, was good here. Last time, I had a steak wrap, and it was delicious. Their eggs benedict is also good. I love their home fries. The service is excellent. Early in the morning, I love to sit outside. It's a small and cozy place. I recommend.

I stumbled across this little gem called the Red Fox Diner when I was in Lighthouse Point. They're open everyday from 6a until 2pm for breakfast and lunch. On Sundays they only serve breakfast. This diner is small, and they have some outdoor seating. This place is dog friendly. You can bring your dog if their well behaved, and sit outside on their covered patio. They will even give your dog some water. They've been in business for over 50 years, and I can see why. You can definitely see and feel how friendly the staff is when they're interacting with their customers. Many customers are local and on a first name basis with the staff. My waitress HEATHER was a delight. She immediately took my drink order and brought me a cup of hot coffee and water. The coffee was very good and served in a cute mug. The menu is simple, but everything is cooked to order and executed perfectly. For breakfast I ordered a Ham & Cheese Omelette with Hash brown Patties. (You get a choice of home fried potatoes, hash brown patties, grits, oatmeal, or sliced tomatoes. You also get a choice of toast. A bagel, raisin bread, or croissant is an extra charge.) My omelette was cooked perfectly, and it was stuffed with ham and cheese from one end to the other. My hash browns were crispy. My bf chose Two eggs with meat- 2 eggs plus bacon, ham or sausage, with 1 side dish & toast. He chose ham, and grits. He throughly enjoyed his breakfast. HEATHER kept coming over and checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. My coffee was continuously refilled. I got to checkout some of their other dishes customers ordered. Everything looked delicious. I would definitely come here again.

2/13/2020- Went for lunch. Busy place. There's a counter with about 6 to 8 stools. Outside seating as well. I ordered the chicken and artichoke with cheese spinach wrap came with one side . I had the vegetables which had a white carrot which was interesting string beans and broccoli My companion had turkey club with only two pieces of bread and they cut that into four squares for look nice with french fries all good service was excellent . Had a great breakfast Egg and White American Cheese ( no we're has white American mmmm so much creamier) Canadian bacon which was an up charge which was fine on a English muffin so good . Hubby had two scrambled eggs with biscuits and gravy his gravy was so delicious perfect and coffee. I'll be back . Hadn't been there since they moved years ago

The image shows two plates of breakfast food on a wooden table. The foreground plate contains eggs Benedict topped with hollandaise sauce, bacon, and a toasted English muffin, along with two hash browns. The background plate has scrambled eggs, crispy hash browns, and a sandwich with eggs and bacon. A person is seated behind the plates, seasoning their meal, with a slice of toasted bread on a small plate nearby.

Our favorites were the catch of the day shrimp, Cajun fries, Korean barbecue meatballs and Philly cheesesteak. The garlic parm fries were decent and we didn't care for the steak pieces. 10/10 would recommend overall.

So we went at 7pm on a Wednesday. What's playing on TV was not available, was told to use QR code, so easy peasy. So the counter staff was pleasantly, we ordered: rabbit hole salad and the patty melt to go. Maybe should be eaten there, right away. Didn't stand up to a quick ride home. BOTH meals looked sad and not worth $50, as was $20 each, gave $3 tip for to go. Probably won't return! It's probably great for vegans who don't require quality or taste, just gut it out to remain vegan. Salad had no flavor really, it was " overdressed", just kale dressed in an underwhelming sauce. Tons of it where it was soggy. Chips of fake chicken I guess, that was flavorless. Partners patty melt was just so so. I'm sad! You ever wanted to really like something, so you force it. We love going to local spots to support folks but we demand excellence. I wasn't expecting Coopers HAWK, but wanted some flavor. It's like not even as good as Whole Foods, which is pricey like this but good. Patty melt was average, and not worth $20. The onions saved it, but too expensive for us. Fries were limp, not well made. Now I will say, we do go to dives, so we didn't need Sonness (by the way Sonness is beyond fab!). So, we can do " dive vegan" but we cant do expensive average. It survives because often the beach crowds are too tipsy or high to care, or average is OK due to being snowbirds. Im sure these reviews aren't fake, so will chop this up to a bad night for the cooks! Stop by if you are vegan, committed to this lifestyle, then its good enough. We are in good shape medically, have more allegiance to our wallet than a movement. My partner makes great, fresh salads, so I can stay home for below average greens. But if you are committed and need to just get out, try it. I think a vegan frozen meal, Amy's is better. The salad wasn't horrible, just not worth the price. $20 for soggy, no flavor. Nope! I need flavor, price, freshness mix. Also they could do better with the ambiance. When you walk up, it seemed sad. It was empty, but zero personality. They need some music, it was quiet, somewhat moodless! Even dives have a little music. Rabbits have music LOL! Wish them luck! They have been around a while, so maybe they had better days! Why show stuff on TV that's not offered, pretty photos but disappointing for us. Good news, they are surrounded by great things, Italian to the right, Max to the left, pizza to the left. And Foundry at the end of other side! Partner ate half burger, trashed it. I ate 1/4 salad, trash. $50 in the garbage. I gotta laugh as we sat in our couch, we walked in and after 10 min, the energy felt off to me. We read the menu first. I said to my mate, "let's go elsewhere" after staff said, don't have this or that. My mate said, lets see. I went along. Intuition is never wrong! Trust yout gut, give it a try! Maybe tonight was just an off night! Go try it! Maybe it will be better for you! Im sure those reviews are real but maybe that real cook was off, amd we ended up with the no talent crew!

For dinner, he got the honey chicken Sammy with sidewinder fries, and I went with the chimmichurri steak frites with curly fries... SO good. Everything came out piping hot, quickly, and you can tell the food and drinks are really thoughtfully crafted. What stood out most, though, was the customer service. The three main staff members Drew, Mel, and Darian (I think?) were incredible. Every single one of them went above and beyond for every guest the entire time. When we arrived, there were just a couple tables outside, but once it started raining, they seamlessly accommodated everyone inside without missing a beat. The vibe is such a cool mix, neighborhood spot meets speakeasy meets tiki with a slightly elevated feel, but still super comfortable. Everyone in the place seemed to know each other or quickly became friends. The music was great, and by 7:30 the live entertainment started, he was funny, engaging, and talented. We got there just in time to catch the tail end of happy hour for our first drink, and from there it just kept getting better. Drew, the bartender, even went out of his way to make me a specialty drink I had seen on Yelp that's no longer on the menu, such a thoughtful touch. By 7:30 on a Wednesday, the place was packed, which says everything. Exceptional service, amazing food, great drinks, and an all around fun, welcoming atmosphere. We'll absolutely be back.

You ever open a drink menu and immediately realize... yeah, you're not leaving anytime soon?…read more That was me at Twice Removed Gastropub. Because this isn't one of those places where you scan the menu, shrug, and say "I'll just take a beer." No no. This is the kind of spot where every cocktail sounds like it has a backstory... and you suddenly trust the bartender more than yourself. Creative. Unique. Actually delicious. Not just trying to be different for the sake of it. These drinks land. And if cocktails aren't your thing, don't worry... the beer and cider lineup is deep. Drafts, bottles, cans... it's like they said, "Why limit happiness?" And honestly? That's the tone of the whole place. Welcoming. Comfortable. The kind of vibe where you could show up for one drink and accidentally solve all your life problems over three. Now let's talk food. Because this is where things get interesting... in a good way, mostly. The meatballs? Legit. The kind that make you pause mid-conversation just to acknowledge what's happening. The poutine... I mean, I'm legally obligated to say it... poutine routine. Couldn't resist. And thankfully, neither should you. It delivers. The sliders? Cooked perfectly. Juicy, balanced, exactly what you want. But... There's a small twist in the plot. That bacon jam. Someone in the kitchen is in love. And I respect it. But they might be a little too generous. It leans heavy. Not a dealbreaker, just a "whoa, okay, I see you" moment. Micro twist? You'll say you're full... and then still find yourself reaching for one more bite like it owes you money. Here's the bottom line. Twice Removed Gastropub knows exactly what it is. Great drinks. Solid food. A place that feels easy the second you walk in and even harder to leave. Four stars. And one of those spots you quietly hope doesn't get too popular... because you're already planning your next visit.

Huge thanks to the incredible bartenders and servers -- Connor, Kassidi, Kortney, Daniel, Nigel, Leo, Megan, Vlad, and Annie -- who provided truly epic service all night long. The champagne was flowing, the signature EME Peach-Tini was a massive hit, and the food was phenomenal. The steak and potatoes were AMAZING... our guests definitely ate more than their fair share! With the stunning beachfront views and DJ Misha playing the perfect music to match the vibe, the entire evening felt magical.
