The food was too good! I love going to local businesses and getting good food! The woman up front was nice and the place was clean

I love this place. I've been coming here for about 4+ years while on my break at Broward County Transit, always satisfied with the food and atmosphere. It's very inexpensive, quick breakfast, and everyone knows your name, Heidi. Peace and Bliss To the owners Cindy, Gladys, and Mary Ann.

Surprisingly good food! I have been here a few times for lunch. I have a friend who prefers this spot as its between my office and hers. It doesn't look like much from the outside. Just your average little joint in a strip mall next to a gas station. To be fair, when you walk in, it doesn't seem like much either. An attempt at some decor was made years ago but not anything that would wow ya. The menu is cafe like with the sandwiches and salads. They have a few specials too. first time I was here, Buffalo Chicken Salad. I was trying to be healthy, but have an interesting salad. I gotta say, it was really good. just the other day we met up again and I was looking for something different. Right on the menu was a sandwich I never noticed before. The Spicy Leroy. Again, a healthy option as far as the grilled chicken (should have subbed out the fries though). The sandwich was original and, well spicy! It had a wicked kick to it but wasn't too hot. And those fries I shoulda skipped were some really good Texas style fries too. crisp but tasty potato in the middle. I should add, service is excellent here. Someone is at your table as you sit down to bring you waters. And one of the times that we got something that didn't seem right, they immediately replaced it. What more could ask for a nice hole in the wall cafe.

This mornings Breakfast Special was amazing. $7.69, can't beat it with a stick. As always the service was pleasant and speedy. Food was fresh and hot. Price was less than you might spend at McDonald's. Tucked away in a small corner of the plaza it's worth the stop. In 4 years I've never had a bad experience.

I took a bite of my sandwich & the taste was off. When i opened it, this is what the salami looked like. Who in their right mind would think this was edible?! It even smells rancid!

The food was ok but nothing exciting, but it was a great value for the price. I had the turkey club sandwich which was good but needed more flavor. The fries needed more time in the fryer because they were a little soft. The staff was nice and friendly. The decor in the cafe is very dated and dark and their hours are limited. This is a good place for a quick cheap lunch. I'll probably return later to try another meal.

We chose to sit outside to enjoy the view. It was a little warm, but definitely worth it for the scenery. We ordered the shrimp sushi roll and the fresh catch branzino. The shrimp roll was excellent and definitely our favorite. The branzino was fresh and well prepared, though it wasn't our favorite dish of the meal. Our friends ordered the burger with fries, and they absolutely loved it. The service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit, which made the experience even better. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely come back for the views, great service, and delicious food.

Lauderdale and drove over here since we were in the area. Their fish tacos were one of their popular dishes so I opted for that and my husband got chicken cordon bleu. We also got the trout dip with pita bread but I didn't get a picture of that because we were all starving and then dessert was key lime pie and pistachio gelato. I did not expect the tacos to be so big. I also got this place mixed up with another place called the beach house so I was looking at the completely wrong menu! I took a pic for anyone looking and didn't feel like clicking 4x to get to it on their website. Back to the tacos -- the slaw was very juicy so don't forget to place your napkin! The mango salsa was not too sweet to overpower the rest of the taco and the beans and rice -- we were told was cooked in beef broth so it was very flavorful! It was way too much food to eat in one sitting (although I somehow managed to down 7/8 of that gelato it's a stomach mystery! And I don't like keylime pie so I didn't try it but the crust looked AMAZING! See ya in March! We're coming for you, patio! *side note: even though it was 94 degrees outside, they had a ton of fans blowing indoors and I was really cold. Goosebumps cold. My husband went to get my hoodie from the car and it's valet parking so he made a trek!

Fast forward to today, and it's a completely different story. Everything we ordered was outstanding. The steaks were massive, juicy, and cooked to perfection, easily some of the best I've had anywhere, and I've paid top dollar at high-end steakhouses. The Hawaiian ribeye, in particular, was incredible, tender & juicy. The wings were huge and packed with flavor, honestly some of the best wings I could ask for. They've also stepped up their starters. The new bread with honey butter is insanely good, and the avocado eggrolls with tamarind sauce are absolutely next level. I added on the crab cake which is of insane quality, big lump pieces, it's actually hard to find breading. Service was just as impressive, attentive, smooth, and genuinely welcoming. I even had the chance to speak with the manager, Dani, who explained they made a major shift away from distributors that were hurting their quality. They went back to basics, focused on what made them great in the first place, and it shows in every bite. This was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time, across any cuisine. J. We managed to slide in just in time for happy hour, so the wife kicked things off right with a great cocktail. To keep the kids happy while we looked over the menu, we started with the mozzarella sticks and corn dog poppers. Both were total crowd-pleasers--crispy, melty, and didn't last long on the table. For the mains, the family spread was a massive success. The kids went with the classics: a juicy cheeseburger with golden fries, and crispy chicken tenders with perfectly fried tater tots. Both got total nods of approval. The wife and I went the salad route, ordering the Cobb salad and the Caesar salad, both topped with blackened chicken. Let me tell you, that blackened seasoning is the real deal here! It gave both salads a smoky, savory punch that elevated the whole meal. At the end of the day, Legends serves up **classic bar food done absolutely right**. The vibe is fun, the food is unpretentious and delicious, and the service was on point. It's a fantastic, reliable spot that I'd highly recommend to anyone in the area. We will definitely be back on future visits!

This was our second time dining here; the first time being shortly after they opened. The restaurant is really beautiful inside with accents of green and gold and white. Outdoors, there's plenty of table space, a bar, and a stage for live music. It looked like it has been expanded since my first time there. I'm glad to see this restaurant doing well in Old Town Pompano. Our server was very friendly and assisted us with our questions about the menu. As we were there for brunch, we settled on fried green tomatoes Eggs Benedict, steak and eggs, and shrimp and grits. The fresh biscuits sounded so good that we ordered them. We should have asked for them to come out early, so we could enjoy them while we were waiting. However, we took them home and enjoyed them the next day. We also made the mistake of ordering a side of potatoes. That was definitely not necessary because two of the entrées came with potatoes, and we had more than plenty for the table. Again, something we enjoyed the next day. We were all impressed with what we ordered. Everything came out hot and cooked just as we had asked. My shrimp and grits were absolutely delicious. I also thought it was also nice that our server asked if we wanted to take our refilled drinks to go and prepared to go cups for us. This restaurant has been consistent for us, and I definitely plan to be back. Next time, I'd like to check out their live music scene and get a table outside when the weather gets a little cooler.
