First Watch has been a family staple the last few years, and my dad goes there often. It is usually the place we grab a bite to eat from when we get breakfast. FOOD: The menu has something for almost everyone, and I always enjoy what I get. Today I had the chickichanga, which was PLENTY of food. My husband had the seasonal French toast with lilac whipped cream. It was delicious, and I wish there was more of it. Our daughter had the kids' waffle, and it was so crispy and fresh with powdered sugar. I snapped another picture of avocado toast with a lemon and eggs, which was taken on another visit. Like I said, I haven't had anything I didn't enjoy. ATMOSPHERE: First Watch reminds me of a chain restaurant trying to embrace the farmhouse chic. It's cozy. This particular location is ALWAYS busy. SERVICE: I can't say enough to the team. They always take care of us when we stop in, and my dad is a regular with his preferred table and all. I think they know is order by heart too. I have heard great things about First Watch so decided it was time to give it a whirl. Why have I not been here sooner?! This place is AMAZING. I'm not usually impressed with breakfast spots, but this is definitely a new favorite! The service was outstanding--our server was so sweet and attentive, and constantly made sure we were set with everything we needed. Two 'Snowbird' friends joined me for brunch on 12/23/2023. I arrived and immediately saw my friends - who were obviously chagrined for bringing such inhuman weather to So. Florida - and I joined them. Our waitress - Breana - immediately came to the table with menus, and asked if I wanted coffee. She brought me coffee and left to give me time to look over the selection of food. I quickly looked and my friend - Stan and I began reminiscing about life over the past 60-years since the last time we saw each other. His wife - Jo Ann - was completely enamored with my witty, humorous and insightful repartee, while Stan struggled to keep up... BTW - Stan ordered exactly like Meg Ryan in "When Harry Met Sally" (I'll gave the Omelet, but I don't want the spinach, mushrooms or peppers. Can I get broccoli instead? What about tomatoes? Maybe fruit?) Before Jo Ann & I could wake up, our food arrived. It was delicious (even Stan enjoyed his meal, although, I think it might have given him gas). FYI... During Brunch it started pouring multiple times! Our waitress kept stopping by to re-heat our coffee and check on how liked our meal. Everything was great! After we finished eating, we and talked until Breana told us the restaurant was getting ready to close (they serve breakfast, brunch & lunch). When she left the bill, I thanked her first her friendly behavior, terrific service, and for putting up with Stan (who immediately developed a 'coughing spell' so I ended up paying the bill). My food came cold( not sure why, when breakfast rush was over), I did not send it back, due to the extended amount of time we waited to be fed. Coffee was very hot . The food is always pretty good at this location. I love the avocado toast meal. They recently came out with their spring menu which include crab meat and pickled onions on the avocado toast. I asked for a side of million dollar bacon (which is just honey or maple sauce on the bacon) on the side. The meal was fresh and definitely gave me spring vibes. It was extremely delicious and elevated the avocado toast. The ambiance is diner like and down to earth. The servers are all really nice and accommodating. Served with two basted eggs) and a side of bacon (Four slices of our signature hardwood smoked bacon baked with brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne and a maple syrup drizzle) as well as an egg white omelette (House-roasted zucchini, Crimini mushrooms, shallots, kale and tomatoes with Goat cheese and fresh herbs) with side salad and coffee. I had to send my omelette back because it wasn't hot at all. Honestly, I think they just microwaved it again. They allow dogs outside and even bring a water bowl for your pup. Good for groups, small parties or singles. I haven't met a First Watch I didn't like. But this one is our go-to location. Love being able to wait ahead via their app which is pretty great for those with little ones. To be honest, we are fans because it's kid friendly and we have been able to have a great breakfast every time we come while our kiddo is also entertained by all the busyness the restaurant has, especially on weekends. Each time we have been the staff is friendly and speedy in service. Even when it does get busy service is on point which is key when you have a little one with you. My go-to has been the Bocado (a bacon and avocado omelet). Normally I'm not big into egg dishes at most restaurants but the eggs are perfectly cooked and inside is a treasure trove of bacon and avocado, mixed with cheese and topped with sour cream. So good. Each time we visit I vow to try a new menu item but I'm happily addicted to the Bocado. Maybe one day I'll try something else - maybe. My husband is a big fan of breakfast so truthfully we would be here almost every weekend if it were up to him. read more

I have been to many locations and this one hits the mark every time, just like any other location I've been too. They just do it right. Food is always delicious, service great and just all around good experience every time. The food is always great and presentation is so pleasing to the eye which just makes it taste that much better. I go to this chain all of the time but this particular location was not the greatest for service. What I ordered.... Due to my gluten allergy, I have limited options. This was on the specials menu. It's a barbacoa breakfast option. It has black beans, eggs, corn chips, tomatoes and the "meat" aka barbacoa on top of the corn chips. It had very little meat. I moved everything around and found 2 small chunks of meat. The manager mentioned that it's simmered into the sauce however you could tell that the sauce was very plain and the meat was far and few between. The whole point of barbacoa is to see the chunks of meat. The flavour was very plain. Not enough seasoning to actually say it's barbacoa. I'd definitely not order this dish again.
