    Bacado® Omelet
    Micaela W.

This was a great spot to hit for a late morning brunch. We shared the bacado omelet and banana granola pancakes that we added chocolate chips to. We also had the watermelon wake up juice. Everything was so good and reasonably priced, no complaints! The service was quick, but not so fast that you wonder if the food is even fresh. Everything was clearly freshly and made perfectly. Our server asked if we were sharing and offered to bring an extra plate without us even asking. Very nice experience!

In our journey to seek out a healthy sandwich for my mother-in-law, we remembered that first watch has some great menu items. They typically open from 7 AM to 2:30 PM and we arrived at 2 PM. It's always pretty busy inside, especially during the brunch hours. The ambiance is always airy and light inside. The host there was able to quickly take my husband's order and even went to the back to see if he could try and get it pushed up to the front of the line since it was just a sandwich. We got her the Monterey Club, which had turkey, bacon, avocado, organic mixed greens, tomato, Monterey Jack and mayo on sourdough bread. It also came with a side salad. My mother-in-law really enjoyed it, and it was a good healthy choice for her.

Saturday morning is a great time to dine inside or outside under the covered patio. The service was quick to bring beverages and take our food order. I thought that it is strange that they served Iced coffee that is caffeinated, but if you want decaf iced coffee, they bring it hot with a tall glass of ice. The breakfast tacos were filled with fresh avocado slices on top and the Frittata was filled with fresh veggies. I like the non-traditional salad greens as a side dish. The restaurant interior is really nice with a feeling of old time nostalgia. The later the morning the more crowded the place gets but luckily there is plenty of parking.

Avocado Toast $13.99, very pricey for such a simple dish, but it was good.

Took our out-of-town guests here for breakfast and all 4 of us had a great meal. I always regret not getting/remembering the server's name when we have great service .... our guy was excellent. Pricey, but we did get a couple of free specialty drinks (Morning Meditation).

First time to this location! I love how it's nice and bright inside ! I got the Double crunch breakfast taco and morning meditation juice, both were good! The bf got the Floridian French toast and chicken sausage, he loved both! Will definitely be going back

We tried first watch because we were on the way to Whole Foods in the same parking lot. The food is okay, we spent way more than we expected. The service was very slow, no one seemed to know who was taking care of our table. It's a casual place with cute decor, and trendy options. I don't think we would ever go back. Just not worth the wait or the prices.

Havent been here in a year or so. Just landed from a redeye flight, craving food and this was our to go spot. Service was fast but in point. Everyone there was really nice! Coffee was american, really light, not too strong tbh. My trifecta is can say the best scrambled eggs, not too dry, cheesy and perfectly seasoned. Biggest pancake i've ever seen but so good!! Sister had the french toast and scrambled eggs, crunchy and flavorful! We got there at 7:50 so it was really calm, clean and no noise. I might be cheating on my fast food breakfast places for this one!!

Our experience was a little to be desired. I did the 'check in' ahead - and when I got there and checked in they told me they would clean up the tables - I waited and waited. Finally, I had to ask someone else to help me because it wasn't happening. The food was a bit slow to arrive - a variety of pancakes, egg whites with turkey, bacon and more. The coffee was in a carafe so there was plenty of it! We took home some of the eggs and the hash browns! Very large portions.

DO NOT ORDER THE PESTO Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl

This is the Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl and I only ordered this because the server said "it is phenomenal". It was not to say the least the plate smelled like soap and typically I order something else but today I left the establishment still hungry. Also the glass container of water that was left on the table it had leftover residue on the inside of the glass and in the water itself. There were other things that weren't great for me like the side of bacon I ordered was cold, the biscuits and gravy was very water downed.

Soup of the day: Vegetable. Mom didn't like
    Arielle M.

Don't waste your time at the Delray Beach location. My mother and I came in for lunch. It wasn't overly busy and there were restaurant staff running around all over the dining room, but we had to seat ourselves and we had to wait a while between being greeted and ordering our food. I had to get up several times to flag down waitstaff. Mom kept it simple and weird with Soup of the day, which was vegetable soup, and cheesy grits. She didn't like and didn't finish the soup. The grits she liked. The baked cheese on top is a new way for me, reminded me of French onion soup, but looked good. I had a club sandwich. A club ALWAYS has bacon in it. If it doesn't then it's just a turkey sandwich. Someone in the kitchen here needs to either slow down or take a lesson, bc my bacon was missing. After flagging the waitress down (again). I was given 3 cold slices of bacon to add to my sandwich. The club came with either fries or a salad. What I didn't expect was a pile of the same exact greens used inside the sandwich to be sitting dressed next to the sandwich as well. No onion or tomato or carrots- absolutely nothing. I'm surprised that they would serve this with the sandwich, considering the salad is already inside the sandwich. Wasn't what I was expecting and really wish that they would've put a little more thought into that side salad. I haven't had the best experiences at this FW or the Boca so I probably won't come back

It was some sort of restaurant week so all 6 of us got the 3 course meal and we were all so full! I loved the dates appetizer, but the salmon entree was probably my favorite part! It was cooked perfectly. The banana bread dessert was very good too. We also split a crab cake and I would definitely order that again! Our server was so kind and made the experience great.

The onions were cooked perfect. The portion was huge so I got two meals out of it. The dessert was a little meh but not bad. I got the brownie and I wish it was served warm. I knocked one star because the service was not where it should have been. Despite the hostess telling me that this was NOT a busy night, we had to wait ten minutes to just get water glasses because there were no clean ones. I felt bad that our waitress seemed so overwhelmed. For a Saturday night during flavor palm beach, I would have expected the restaurant to be more prepared for the number of diners. Despite all of this, I'm still thinking about the food and how much I want to go back. Reservations are a must. Sitting outside is a little tough when it's so hot and buggy out. I wish they would have fans running or citronella candles. Inside is surprisingly large. There are four different dining rooms and each have a bit of a different vibe.

The lobster appetizer was phenomenal. The chicken oysters, I personally don't see the hype there but the potato served with them is both the crispiest and the softest potato I've ever eaten. The short rib entree with mole sauce was as tender and flavorful as can be. The local jerk swordfish was cooked perfectly and everything on that plate together created wonderful bites. Cornbread dessert was my choice, I love cornbread and that hit the mark with the blueberry compote and ice cream. One nitpick, and this is absolutely a nitpick. The string lights that hang down the wall to the tables are filthy. So dirty they looked like twine rope. Now that didn't change my experience or make me question the cleanliness of the kitchen at all. That food was perfect. And I wouldn't lower my rating .1 because of it I would go back to driftwood more frequently if my schedule fit their hours better, this place is top notch. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to look over the menu before ordering. We started with the Steak Tartare, served with beer-battered smoked onion petals, truffle, egg yolk, and manchego. It was excellent and one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the Za'atar Roasted Local Vegetables with spicy greens, feta tzatziki, lime pickles, and pepitas. It was good, but it wasn't my favorite dish. For our entrées, one person ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese with pork and beef ragu, housemade raw milk ricotta, and Parmigiano-Reggiano. It was rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Jerk Local Swordfish from Fort Lauderdale with braised Swiss chard, local radish escovitch, and jackfruit miso beurre blanc. While the swordfish itself was cooked well, I wasn't a fan of the jerk seasoning. The flounder, however, was outstanding and probably my favorite entrée. To drink, I had the Les Fumées Blanches Orange Sauvignon Blanc, which I really enjoyed. Someone else had an Old Fashioned. For dessert, we shared the Affogato with mascarpone ice cream, dark chocolate, and espresso, and it was a perfect ending to the meal. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and we appreciated being able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. It is on the pricey side, but that's fairly typical for a farm-to-table restaurant using quality ingredients. There's a small parking lot behind the restaurant, and we were lucky enough to grab a spot. Overall, it's a fun place for a date night or a nice dinner with family. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. Or if you want, they have a great bar and you can hang out there and have a bite.

We got there early for our reservation, but it was a busy night and the inside table I had already requested and reserved was given away so we had to sit outside. We asked about seating in the bar but we were told it was booked by a private party. (No one for this party showed up from 7:30-9:30 and the bar was as empty when we left as when we arrived.) They did have portable heaters outside so it wasn't too cold, but again, not what I requested or reserved. Our server was friendly and greeted us immediately, explaining the nightly special. We started with the Hamachi appetizer, a fun mix of yellowtail with passionfruit and gochujang. Everything about it was delicious but the yellowtail tasted much fishier than we've had elsewhere. Then the waiting game started. After waiting nearly 40 minutes our server brought the appetizer again so we had to assume he'd put a hold on our order and forgotten it. I went in to ask a few minutes later and our food was just now being staged. I don't mine if things happen, it's life, but tell us up front, say "whoops" and we will move on... Our dinner finally came out and it was really good! - The lovely Spensyr had the Table Wedge Salad, an interesting mix of Bibb lettuce, pork belly, and Tahini ranch, with a sun dried tomato compote. - I had the hangar steak with crispy fried potato and sautéed veg. It was delicious. Because of the earlier wait and mix up, we were offered complimentary desserts. Spensyr got their Key Lime pie and loved it, I got their white chocolate passionfruit cake dome thing and we each thought ours was better. * All in all it was a mixed bag. Apart from the overly fishy appetizer, all our food was delicious. The service was great, except for when they forgot us. The restaurant was comfortable and pleasant other than being kept outside in the cold with an entire empty bar.
