I can't believe it took me so long to come to Latinos, what a fantastic local gem! We were pleasantly surprised with a lively crowd watching the World Cup games on a new Jumbotron TV they added to the stage. Highly recommend coming here to watch your favorite team play. The beef empanadas were cooked to perfection and overstuffed, we likely could've just split one. The Picanha dinner was cooked fresh and came with so many sides, we took them a large portion for leftovers. The aji picante really stood out, we asked for more to take home. The Arepa Llanera de Picanha was also perfectly cooked & enjoyed very much. They ran out of the standard avocado that comes in it, but instead brought a side of guacamole for me to add. I really like that they did that without me having to ask. We'll definitely be back soon, to watch another match! read more

The environment was amazing and a great time for the World Cup, the food was delicious. However it took 90 minutes just to pay for our bill. They had ONE working machine to take payments, and decided that after the final whistle of the game that every table should just line up to pay. They have cards on file from the time we paid for our initial deposit and still refused to let us leave. I shouldn't have to beg for 90 minutes to pay my tab. Again the food is great. The wait staff amazing, they were doing the absolute best they could with the resources they had. But the manager and owner of the restaurant need to be replaced. They had zero organizational skills and zero communication. Would never go back or recommend just for that. read more

Stopped in for dinner and stumbled upon a World Cup watch party! The employees were great with service and so friendly! The beef empanada was so good I was craving more! The house made hot sauce is so delicious and is a great bonus on all of the food! The picanha was perfectly cooked! I opted for tostones, fried yucca and double salad as my sides. My bf's arepa was a perfect balance of meat and cheese. We can't wait to come back! read more

This place is not for me. First upon seating we were told to scan a barcode for a menu. I hate this practice. When I protested we were given well worn outdated menus. Not being familiar with the cuisine we wanted to try a variety of things. We ordered empanadas, ceviche mixto, loma saltado, and montanera latinos. In fairness the food and service were ok but the real deal killer was that they added an 18% surcharge to already high prices for what we got. I won't knowingly patronize a place that does this. I didn't know until I got the bill. I won't be back or visit the next door grocery either. read more

Horrible service no one spoke English no google translate app Food inedible nothing like the pictures Missing ingredients watered down alcohol Used to be a great place now I will never go back read more

For a latin restaurant i was expecting maybe a little spice in a special meal, instead i got a bland chicken leg quarter that came out lukewarm at most. The salad dressing to me was inedible. The rice was also lukewarm. The ice tea was cloudy. The hot sauce had was not what i considered hot. I will not be back read more

First time dinner here, the food was good, fair portion and prices are accesible. Drinks were amazing and the music was entertaining. Our waiter was great and always checking on us. Sad that after certain hour they charge for being there as they have some live music (singer) and it was odd as we had dinner, we were consuming, having drinks all night non stop and once approach to pay $15 each if we wanted to stay, we thought it was rude, mind our bill with tip was $175 just my hubbie and me. From that bill only $50 was food, the rest drinks. If it wasn't for this, I would have rated the place a 4 star. read more

This place is absolute garbage, trash quality food & you won't get what you ordered I promise you. Messed up my order the only 2 times I ordered from here. Just stay away from these place there's 10x better options, boteca de manelo is across the street and quality is 1000x better. read more

My absolute favorite place to go to when I am in the South Florida area!! Stays open late, good casual vibes, and awesome food and drinks. There is a big parking lot right next to the restaurant as well. We came on a Saturday evening which is when it was at full capacity inside, but we were able to be seated outside relatively quickly. I think there was some sort of soccer game on inside and some live entertainment, and it would have been too loud for us. I got the Brazilian steak (small) and my boyfriend got the Beef Ribs. Both came with a side of rice and beans, salad, and a side of your choice (we got sweet plantains but they had fries too). Steak is cooked one level higher than we ordered (e.g. medium was closer to medium well) so I would keep that in mind for next time but no big deal. Our server was a gem and spoke loudly and clearly so we could hear over the loud music. Despite it being crazy busy, the food still came out in an acceptable amount of time. Remember to check in to Yelp for a free dessert! We got the chocolate mousse and it was delish. read more

Latino's Restaurant is by far superb when wanting a variety of different Latin and Latin-infused cuisines. It's great to know you can go to one place and be able to have plenty options, no matter what you crave. The atmosphere is very welcoming, fun and customer service will always try to go above and beyond to accommodate. This is by far a great and tasty recommendation! read more

Atmosphere is great. I'm told they have music and the place is great for entertainment. We came in for dinner and I let my SIL help with the ordering. Service was very attentive and good. My boyfriend and I ordered the Lomo Saltado as our mains. There was ceviche (amazing) and beef empanadas (good) ordered as appetizers. We were very disappointed in the Lomo Saltado. The meat was so dry we basically ate around it enjoying the rice and onions and tomatoes. I tried my daughters pork which was pounded thin and fried and so juicy I was jealous. I would definitely come back and try other items. read more

Ordered the Brazilian picanha. It was delicious. It was 2, maybe around 6 oz each, steaks cooked perfectly. A little fatty but good. The plantains, white rice, red beans, and salad were also very good. The service here was top notch too! Clean and good atmosphere. I was not here when it was very busy so I can't attest to the music scene. Will be back read more

My family and I ate there July 27th. My niece found a cockroach under her salad. We didn't receive an apology but excuses that it fell from the ceiling. My sister in law said her food tasted like egg shells or something gritty like sand. Again, no apology. We asked to speak to a manager but was informed that there wasn't one. Do not ever eat at this restaurant. I wish I could leave less than one star. Everyone at the table (8) were all disgusted and nobody are their food. But was given the bill minus the cockroach food and egg shell food. Not even offered a discount or comp. read more

To be quite frank, the service could be way better than what it is. I get it's trying to portray a club like restaurant, but there's no one to greet you, instead you wait minutes to be told to sit wherever. Then when you finally get a waiter, it's like pulling teeth to get a glass of water. Food took forever to arrive, check took just as long. The food is fine not great but gets the job done. read more

Came by yesterday with the Orphans 3 and Don and Alan and remembered Orphan George smiling down at us! We started with the Empanadas as an appetizer and they were very good! Ken and me shared the Picanha Steak dinner regular dinner portion which consisted of 2 steaks, Salad, French fries and a bowl of rice each! Yummy yummy! Rick had his chronic Fried Rice (Chaufa) and he devoured it! Alan and Don bonded over their Mojitos and the Chicken Lomo Saltado which they enjoyed. We ended our lunch with our fav Cafe con leche and all in all we had an excellent meal! Fellow YELPERS do try out this unique Restaurante you won't be disappointed! read more

If you do not speak Spanish I do NOT recommend this restaurant!!! Had a hard time getting acknowledged sitting at a almost empty bar, so I would say the service was below average for a so called great restaurant! First time here. You want Colombian, Peruvian or Venezuelan food then this is your place. On the weekends they have live music and DJ. The music is on point. The food is really good. I was referred to the restaurant as I am visiting South Florida. I was greeted with a big friendly smile and very courteous. The service is outstanding but I gave 3 star because the pabellón was very salty. The plantains, rice and beans were made to perfection. I could have eaten another round. I would definitely go back but I would not have any of that meat. read more

The food here is always above average, however, the service always leaves a lot to be desired. This trip was no exception. First off, we ate outdoors because we had a dog with us, which would have been fine, but we had to inside the restaurant after a 10 minute interval of no server coming outside to take our order. Unacceptable. We finally placed our order, and I ordered my usual, the BEEF Lomo Salteado. 10 minutes later, we received our food, and my order was the chicken version. Unacceptable as I showed the server the exact picture of what I intended to order. Another 10 minutes later, I got the correct version of what I wanted, but again the server failed to ask me how I wanted the steak cooked. For all these reasons, this is a place to attend maybe once a month, not an all the time thing, sorry. They need to do better read more

Very good service and very good food. My wife and I enjoy eating local in order to support local businesses. Latinos Restaurante is the kind of place you need to come to many times, and try something different each time. So far my favorites are their steak and tostones. Few places can boast homemade tostones. One of the highlights of the meal for sure. If you are an adventurous grill master of sorts then go next store to the carnicería and get a few pounds of steak to make yourself. On two separate occasions I've had their chicken and it seemed to me to be a bit dry. Good...but dry. Their drinks are also good. I'm a bit of a self taught mixologist, so I tend to be a bit critical. I can still say that these drinks are good and well priced. The value is very good. My wife and I will do a date night here and usually never spend more than $70-$80 to get two meals, tax and tip. read more

Found this gem through a yelp search! Love that! The place was not too crowded so we sat instantly. It's a lot larger on the inside than it looks from outside. Also, the curb appeal is low but the inside decor is beautiful. The shopping center parking lot was under construction when I went so parking was very difficult. The food selection was vast and plentiful. We ordered a bit of everything! There was nothing we were disappointed in. That chimichuri though! Even the dessert selections were many. We all shared one dessert because we at so mush food! Highly recommend the empanadas :) read more

Simple food, decent prices and nice staff. Best food ever no, but quality was appropriate for price for product.... I'll be back,

In spring 2022, I moved to CVE from suburban Philly. In February 2023, my sister and brother-in-law came from Jersey to visit me. On a weekend night, they asked me to recommend a Latino restaurant. Initially, we went to a Brazilian place on SW 10th Avenue but we walked out. I then recommended we try Latinos. We arrived and the girl put our name on the waitlist. They called us 15 minutes later and seated us. There was a wedding reception table near us and the place was packed. I ordered 3 big tacos. They were very good. Unfortunately, a woman at a nearby table decided to stand right behind my sister's chair and chat with a woman from another nearby table across the railing from us, repeatedly bumping my sister's chair and shoulder as if the nightclub activity had begun. We were interested in getting a second round of drinks but the waitstaff avoided us after serving the food. I could see them serving other tables but I'd like to think we mattered, too. Also, the piped in salsa music was blaring so that we could not have any reasonable conversation. Perhaps that's part of the cultural Latino charm. I intend to return but on a weekday or afternoon when it's not in nightclub mode. read more

Me gusta gusta mucho visitar las arepas y la carne están súper ricas y el ambiente está muy bueno lo recomiendo

Hate to give a 1-star but I feel it's only fair to consumers who may think this is actually a 4-star place. Not sure how they could have earned that but perhaps it just means standards are very low in this area. Service wasn't the problem, but the food definitely was. It was so bad it perhaps stole the 1 Star they would've gotten for service being ok. The food is beyond plain and clearly overpriced. I had a bad feeling when I ordered that I should've listened to. I ordered the stuffed arepa, with lomo saltado which is a thin cut steak. The arepa was awful, flavorless and slightly burned. The steak was awful, flavorless and cooked at all diff temperatures. The dish itself was very beaten up and full of chipped off corners. The juice was watered down. Never got water. It was just bad. I highly recommend folks to look elsewhere. read more

Was out for a ride on the motorcycle. Decided to stop and have a meal at this corner joint. Patio seating. Sat outside. Waiter was very helpful and service was on point. Ordered Ceviche Mixto and it was sublime. The flavors were sweet, acidic, just enough onion and the calamari/fish mix was great. Next was a Picanha Caesar salad. Bro, my girl and I fought over every bite! It was amazing. The dressing was perfect. Steak was cooked to perfection, medium rare. So flavorful. We sat and savored the flavors and decided to indulge our tastebuds a bit more with a steak/beef empanada and we were not disappointed. Real meat. Real flavor. Really good. A must try. Next we ordered the spareribs and once again we were not disappointed. The beef ribs were attached to the skirt or apron and the sear on the rib portion was amazing. You know that flavor, salty, bbq, beefy and juicy. An absolute must. The sides were rice and red/black beans and we had red. Fried yucca and salad on the side. We were locked in on the beef and the sides were fine but our focus was the beef and it's easy to fall in love with this dish for the flavor. We each had a drink and passed on the deserts and the bill was under $100 with tip included. The place is vibrant with culture, music, and a lively bunch of patrons. I'm a lucky man to have this place within walking distance to my house. All we can say is, GO! read more
