If you speak spanish it's probably ok. I asked for no bell pepper (I am allergic) I get the dish filled with red pepper. The person who took my order argued with me about it. I told her you may not have heard me but that doesn't mean I didn't say it ( I am allergic for sure said it) Anyway the manager didnt apologize (neither did ) he didn't bother to get off his phone as he as eating. The rice was good but for the price it better be.

I love the place, extreme care for cleanliness, plus point! in these times of pandemic it is something that you take great care of. Congratulations . Personally, I am very demanding in Peruvian flavor, since I know it very well, and I wanted to try some "Tallarines a la huancaina"... WOW! What texture of the sauce, the soft meat, everything exquisite, my respects to chef Kevin I recommend this restaurant, do not hesitate to try their exquisite grilled chicken, they have a delicious corn sauce! I recommend it with the french fries, it is a good combination. Excellent Service You find a variety of Peruvian and Venezuelan food

I have always been "ehh" on this particular restaurant. The staff is mostly spanish & many do not speak english. Being a non-spanish speaker, I immediately feel isolated. They do not even try to engage customers or act friendly. There is a good variety of food choices, that range from good to (again) "ehh." The restaurant itself is almost always empty, but the drive thru is often full. One meal I ordered recently was a chicken wrap. It was large, but the chicken was bland, tasteless, & forgettable, like the restaurant! I know some folks like this place. It just seems to cater to blue collar spanish individuals, which is fine. It just does not do much for me. If you enjoy it, that is great, but for me there are to many other choices that are better fits.

El Granero is a cute Peruvian restaurant with a small parking lot on the side. This place is similar to La Granja in terms of some items on their menu and the fast food feeling. You're food is made pretty quick, which is perfect for people who are in a hurry or people looking for a quick lunch. They have $5 specials and so many options on their menu. They have everything from meat to fish to noodles, and all for a reasonable price. They give generous portions and have a lot of sauces to choose from. They have sauces with onions and sauces without onions, which is so convenient because I don't like onions in my sauces. The steak and tuna was delicious and fresh. They have a lot of chairs and tables but they don't have big tables for groups of 6, so we had to rearrange tables.

Highlight: How has no one written a review for this place yet? Sister and I decided to give this place a shot bc we were hungry and needed something fast but wanted to try something new for dinner. El Granero is a fast food Peruvian cuisine place that sells fares such as arroz, plantains, steak, chicken, seafood, and arepas! I think the seafood soup and arepas make this place super unique and set apart from the other fast food giants such as Pollo Tropical, because its food doesn't taste too bland or too greasy like some mass food chain made it- the food here could pass for a sit down home style cooking place. What we got: Seafood soup- this really is seafood soup- some places make soup with bits of seafood but this thing was chock full of seafood- so it can truly be called a seafood soup. It was squid rings, shrimp, mussels, corn, and potato in a clear soothing shrimp seafood broth. It's very soothing and light and I recommend it for anyone who wants something healthy and wholesome but has a robust flavor. The soup called chupe de Moriscos is the same thing but a creamier soup- so get that if you want something heavier. For 7.99$ it is a behemoth of a portion- you won't go hungry after eating such a portion. The 1/2 chicken with plantains and rice. I like that the plantains here were sweet and definitely greasy but good. Some places put too much salt or cook it too long that it becomes mush and you begin to wonder if they used plantains or used legit la Chiquita bananas instead. This plantains are cooked well and perfect. The rice was not too greasy, salty, bland, or dry. Went super well with the black beans which were also perfectly cooked- not too salty, oily, or mushy where the beans make you wonder if you got blended black beans or black beans. There is a savory taste to the beans, maybe cooked in pork or bacon? Definitely must get this rice and beans and plantains though. The chicken was rotisserie like. I opted for this instead of breaded seafood because I didn't want anything too heavy before I went to sleep The chicken falls off the bone nicely and isn't too heavily spiced . It is a good comfortable dinner to have with the rice and beans if you don't want something too oily and heavy on the stomach. It is a fast food place so you order at the fron tan day. Seems very quiet- maybe people don't know about this place b/c I''m the first to write a review but it's a nice gem hiddden beside other giants like chipotle and Panera around it.

We asked which ceviche is their best and she recommended the Ceviche Mixto. It was ready just a few minutes after and we walked over to the beach to enjoy it. She packaged it nicely to make sure nothing spilled. And the crunchy corn was packaged separately so it wouldn't get soggy. Thoughtful! It was super delicious! Nice mix of different fish, it was citrusy, oniony, crunchy from the corn. Everything I wanted in a ceviche. Definitely recommend!

Our family tried a variety of dishes, starting with the Jalea, a fried seafood platter. While the portion was smaller than what you typically find at other Peruvian restaurants, the seafood was fresh. I just wish there had been more calamari, fish, shrimp, and fried yucca. We also ordered the Chicken (Pollo) Chaufa and the Seafood Chaufa. Both dishes came in small portions, and the seafood was only placed on top of the rice. Sadly, they lacked the distinctive Chaufa flavor and tasted a bit bland. The Lomo Saltado beef was tender but similarly lacked seasoning, and the Ají Amarillo was just okay. On a positive note, the service was excellent, and the ambiance felt warm and inviting. It seems the food might have been adjusted to cater to a more traditional or less adventurous palate. Peruvian cuisine is renowned for its rich flavors and Asian influences, and I believe it has the potential to be truly exceptional.

I also loved the presentation of the lomo saltado--especially the little flower, which I thought was a cute touch. I had a mango drink, which was delicious and creamy. I hope this place gets more customers because it's definitely a great spot for Peruvian food.

The restaurant is located in a strip on the east side of US1. After we came in, we recognized the location. We'd been here before long ago when it was another restaurant. After looking over the menu, I decided on their shrimp ceviche. They do have a number of lunch specials, but not what I had been craving. My husband thought he'd get their fish and shrimp ceviche, but it turned out the fish was swai/tilapia. Not his favorite. And to get corvina fish instead was an additional $8. So he wound up getting the shrimp ceviche, also. While we waited for our food, we snacked on those Peruvian roasted salted corn kernels. They are addictive. The shrimp ceviche was very good. Lots of shrimp along with large fresh corn kernels, roasted kernels, and red onion slices. All in a citrus marinade. There was also a chunk of sweet potato (yam?). I added some additional squeezes of lime juice as well. For lunch, it was rather an expensive meal, but it was exactly what I needed on that hot almost summer day!

There is supposed to be a happy hour from 4-7, but we didn't get the discount on our drinks when the bill arrived. Again though, the ceviches is the best in the entire area that I've had. The mixto in particular is my jam as it presents to limey and juicy and the chilled sweet potato is perfectly cooked. The corn snacks are delightfullly crunchy. The calamari frita side addition for $3 more is worth it to have something cooked to compliment the cold dish. My daughter also highly recommends the chicha morada. The cinnamon and other warm spices are in the background, but pleasantly supportive of the sweet purple corn and tangy lime juices. Yes, please. The crispy duck? Not so crispy... and a little overcooked. Duck sadness. Luckily, dessert redeemed everything--the Lucuma ice cream was so good it deserves its own fan club. The vibe inside is gorgeous too--great decor makes you want to linger just a little longer. Final verdict: overall a 4.5, but let's be real, we're rounding up to 5 because anything less would feel stingy.

This had us a bit nervous because we both live far away and the drive there- etc. but in the end we made it so all Good. There were open tables at lunch time, so I feel that asking for a cc was a bit extra, maybe an opportunity for improvement. Well we arrived and the place is located on a big plaza with sufficient parking on both sides, no problems there: right next to the Turnpike! Which made it great for a meet up for old friends who live in Jupiter and Broward: this worked. It is a large locale with tables both inside and a large outside terrace that was also Very welcoming. We chose the inside area. The decor is upscale and the noise level is low: great for all our conversations. There is background music so the lunch "scene" is very smooth and nicely suave. Our waiter was always attentive and handy and ready to take our order and suggest many of the dishes in the menu. They were so gracious they even sang happy birthday to me when they found out I was celebrating! Anyway we decided to share appetizer and entree - wanted to make it to the cake- so for starters we shared a "Conchitas à la Parmesana". (Coquille sort-of st jaques with a twist) (for the purist) as these had some bechamel sauce and some mozzarella in addition to the customary parmesan cheese. They were delicious! But not quite the "traditional" way we were expecting. Still: we licked our fingers and enjoyed For the main course we shared a "lomito saltado con tallarines en salsa huancaina". Let me say here that I had my doubts. Spaghetti in huancaina sauce? Who would have thought they would be so delicious! The sauce is a cheese mix with the yellow Peruvian aji- but it was not "hot", just flavorful and with a delicious aroma. The chunks of meat of the "lomito" we cooked to perfection, and the combination was just SO GOOD! Oh and the portion size was Abundant so we were glad we shared as we wanted to Make it to dessert So ... there is a dessert menu! So many choices... but I was determined and chose the chocolate cake. Peruvian chocolate cake is something else. I crave it. It has some dulce de leche in the middle and creamy hot fudge flowing from the top... yummmmm We were already full before the cake... but how could we not devour it! It was scrumptious! Anyway... it is already 6 pm, as I write this review- I am still full- and here I am wishing for more chocolate cake... or more of the spaghetti with the huancaina sauce... or both! We are definitely going back for more. Enjoy!
