Beef empanadas. Can't believe they charge for this.

Wow! Worst empanadas ever. I made the mistake of coming in for a quick snack. Would not go again.

Came back after a long time and am so pleased to see that nothing has changed as to the excellent flavors of the food and the great service one gets over here! This tiny "Hole in the Wall" are the gems only the locals like yours truly know about! Sitting here is literally like sitting in a small restaurant in Columbia as the ambiance is authentic and cozy! We have NEVER had a bad meal ever in all the times we have eaten here! The portions are Huge and the prices are very reasonable, specially in tough times like these. (The tables are not large enough lol) They have an extensive menu and my favs are the Chicken Milanese and the Grilled Steak with onions! The whole fried Snapper is amazing too! Each meal comes with Rice Red Beans and a salad and a complimentary ice cream!! Fellow YELPERS if you want a very interesting casual dining experience this is the place I would try out! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!

We have tried their Margate location several times so we decided to come up to flag ship store in Boca. Flag ship is a stretch but it is the first one so I guess you could call it that. It is located in 441 at a shopping plaza that seems to be very busy, it was quite a mission just to park. The restaurant itself is very small he only has a few tables it is cramped, and you feel so pretty quickly. Service is always the same at every Colombian restaurant you visit, wishy-washy. These are not professional waiters or waitresses but people who just serve. There is no designated waitress we must've been helped by every single person working at the time. I did like the Botero replica paintings on the wall. Very Medellin. Having been there recently, brought back memories. We ordered the meat platter for four people with a side of rice and a salad. The food was just as good as the Margate location . The only reason I am giving them three star reviews is for the location and the comfort/service level. It is an A-OK average place, not a great or amazing place. I will stick with the Margate location.

Super authentic and delicious Colombian food. Very reasonable prices and huge portions. Great service and extremely fresh food, my favorite is the churrasco steak that comes out sizzling on a skillet and draws everyone's attention in this tiny but cozy restaurant. I'm Brazilian but I normally pick this place over the neighboring Brazilian "by the pound" restaurants. Bonus! They always serve you a small cup of FREE ice cream after every meal!

Food was salty and cold. Not going back. Incredibly sketchy location in a strip mall next to a "arcade" and pay day lender. Very low class.

Easily the best Colombian place in Boca, if not south Florida. ¡La Arepa juevo es excelente!

I've driven by El Patio countless times and always said to my husband "we gotta check this place…read moreout". Well we finally did. Once for soup and cappuccino around 2:30 and the last time for an early dinner around 4pm. On both occasions the restaurant was immaculate. And so was the gender less bathroom. The service was efficient and warm, and both servers preferred to speak in Spanish. And that's fine. Their menu shows Mexican dishes as well as Colombian dishes. And then everything else. Our soup the first time was a special. Pumpkin soup right before Halloween. It's a huge bowl and I mean huge not large. It was served hot as requested but was delicious. Our sit down meal was a breaded chicken breast with three - yes - 3 sides! The mashed potatoes were creamy. The yucca was boiled and delicious. We also had a mini chicken empanada in a corn outer. It had a touch of sweetness and was a treat for my tastebuds. I had the broiled salmon in their special sauce. The salmon was prepared closer to well done than any other heat and it was as requested. I'll order that again. Our eyes were bigger than our tummy's because when the chicken soup and veggies came, we asked that it be wrapped to go. There was a 1/4 chicken wing and foot in the container. Again, oversized. At $20+ it could be considered pricey. But once you saw how many ingredients there were and that think of chicken you're feeling it was worth it. We will return without question.
