Partner and I stopped by Argentinian Grill. Though it has a rather good menu, it's a wine and beer-only café with a certain characteristic café feel about it. I had the Skirt Steak (Entraña) which, I must add, came in a large portion and had a very good rich meaty flavor. Partner had an Argentinian Sandwich which was a filet mignon served with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, and chimichurri, served in a medium-sized bread. All in all, the food and service were pretty good, but the overall atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired.

We came for lunch as I was in the mood for a good steak sandwich. I'd seen a post online with a picture that looked exactly like what I was craving. When we stopped by they weren't that busy. We found a parking spot right outside the restaurant. And we were told to sit wherever we wanted. We chose a comfortable booth. We both decided to get their medium sized steak sandwich. They also have a larger version. The sandwich has lettuce and tomato and mayo plus chimichurri sauce. I ordered my sandwich without mayo. The sandwich comes with your choice of one side. I selected the Russian salad which the server explained was a potato salad. My husband chose french fries as his side. It didn't take too long for our food to be served. The sandwich was wonderful. The bread was nice and crunchy on the outside. And the combo of the thin steak and chimichurri was quite tasty. The potato salad had peas and carrots in it. It also was pretty good. We both agreed that we were more than happy with our lunch selections. In addition to sandwiches, they have salads and full entrees. Plus, there are a lot of various empanadas. You can see the different varieties up front in the case by the counter. I'd like to come back and try some of these at another visit.

Food was great and service was excellent. Would recommend. They have lots of different options for Argentinian barbecue. Their empanadas are amazing and very tasty.

My son has been talking about this restaurant for a while and we finally got around to going to celebrate his birthday. I'm so glad we did! Liz was our waiteess, and the service was excellent. She was very attentive and kept or drinks refilled and anticipated our every need. We ordered an empanada, cheese app, and a variety of entrees. The meat was so delicious and tender. The favorites were the rib eye and the flap steak. Highly suggest the steaks. They brought a piece of cake for the birthday boy and played happy birthday as well. I loved the food and the service and will definitely be coming back.

My family and friends really loved this place! If you love meats and empanadas, you HAVE to give this place a try. It's not pretentious. The place was clean and comfortable to relax, have a nice meal and just gather. The staff were all so attentive and nice also. I'm still amazed at how tender and flavorful the meats were! We tried the meat sampler for 2 to get a taste of it all. And none of them disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised that the chorizo was not overly salty. And the chicken which we sub'd from the blood sausage was pleasantly tender also. I was worried the chicken may be dry. My cousin had the skirt steak and finished the entire dish herself. The chimichurri sauce was delicious! Even though we were stuffed, we still made room for dessert. We tried the tiramisu, a dulce de leche crepe and a flan. The crepe filling seemed a little too much but the crepe was delicious. It had a little hardened sugar top to it which was a nice touch. The flan was good too! Not too overly sweet. If you're in the east Boca area, you have to give this place a try!

Not sure how this place has an average rating of 4.1 stars because it is truly one of the best Argentinian restaurants in South Florida not only in terms of value but also food quality. Portions are enormous and they honestly have some of the best empanadas I've ever had. This is definitely my go to spot when Im in Boca. The one issue is that service can be a bit slow. I also like the cow themed decor. Definitely one of my top places for Argentinan meats. Make sure to get the milanesa.

The food and service is always excellent. We happily drive nearly thirty minutes to meet friends and family in this very comfortable and clean restaurant. This hidden gem has delicious meats, wonderful sides and nice accompanying wine.

12 once Vacio steak, rare. Amazing!

This month, our group of friends met at Argentinian Grill. As an appetizer, we ordered meat Empanadas for everyone, they were authentic and delicious. It's an Argentinian restaurant, so the steaks are the stars there. We ordered different types of steaks, that by the way were tender, juicy, delicious, and cooked to perfection. We had the Vacio steak, skirt steak, steak sandwich, rib-eye and the Parrilla, a mixture of all kinds of meats possible including Argentinian sausages, blood sausages, short ribs, Vacio steaks. The fries were nice and crispy shoestring fries. Only two of us ordered dessert, I had the Tiramisu and one of the guys had the flan, it was delicious. The ambiance is cool and hip! Maria our server, was polite, friendly and professional, she took care of us without missing a beat and always smiling. The only negative thing about the restaurant is that the chairs are extremely uncomfortable, they're made of me metal with no cushion whatsoever. They should do something about that!! If you go there, ask for a booth! The prices are affordable, compared to other steakhouses. The consensus is that everybody enjoyed their meals and their evening!

Not good ! Skirt steak zero flavor and fatty . 2 tablespoons black beans and barely a cup of rice. Took it home and we had to toss

Order 14oz skirt steak with rice and beans . Steak from tough and tasteless . 35 dollars .Look at pictures none was edible . It used to be good . What happened ? It was take out that I waited for . Low quality cut for price . Please contact if u want to discuss mr. owner .

It transports you to an Italian NY deli. The place is packed, bustling spot and that alone tells you everything you need to know. You know it's good when you walk in and the place is packed. We split the Chicken Cutlet Florentine and it was absolutely incredible. Heads up: the full size is massive, so splitting it is definitely the move and still totally worth it!! The service was super friendly despite how busy it was. I had my eye on the black & white cookie too because what's an authentic Italian deli without one? Sounds like my next visit to Boca includes trying more stuff!

The sandwich itself was good, made with quality ingredients and solid flavor overall. The bread and fillings were fresh, and you can tell they care about what they're serving. One small detail: I wasn't offered any sauce suggestions, and because of that, my sandwich ended up feeling a bit dry. I think a simple recommendation from the staff would've elevated the experience. Still, it was tasty and reasonably priced. The place is small, but it gets the job done -- very much a neighborhood deli vibe. Overall, a good, no-frills sandwich spot worth trying, especially if you're already in the area.

I was driving down Glades Road on a rainy Sunday around 10:45 am. Decided to pull over into this…read moreshopping center to see what was open until the rain let up (which it didn't). Laspada had a lit up sign in the window saying they're "open." I seem to recall Next Door Boca giving them decent reviews. I am a native of Philly, hometown of the hoagie. I thought I'd give this place a try. I ran from my car through the rain and tugged on the door....locked. The door hours say open at 11! So much for the lit "open" sign. They have outdoor metal tables and chairs under an awning. I sat at an outdoor table for ten minutes. I looked through the storefront window at a couple employees prepping and I read the wall menu. A guy unlocked the place at 11. I let a young family and several other guys go ahead of me. Guy at the slicing wheel waited on me. I ordered a small Mama Lastrada turkey & salami on wheat. There's about a half dozen employees behind the counter dealing with the assembly line of customers and sandwiches. Guy at the slicing wheel tells me one of the other guys will work on my sandwich. Okay. However, I can't move down the line because there's customers still lined up ahead of me waiting for their food. Slicing wheel guy looks up at me a minute later and asks what he can get for me. I look back at him waiting for him to recognize me from a minute ago when he already had sliced my order. No recognition! I repeated my order to him. Now he remembers me! He again refers me to one of his junior sandwich prep guys. I overheard him telling a busy junior guy, "This is just a small Mama on wheat" or something like that. Still, I can't go down the line because there's guy ahead of me had placed an order for 3 sandwiches. I swear to you that the slicing wheel guy asks me for a THIRD time for my order! By this time, I felt like I was in a Monty Python sketch. I repeated my order. Again, he refers me to a third junior associate (Manny, Moe, and Jack)? Finally, a young associate asked me for toppings. I had noticed two lettuce bins. One bin looked fine. The other looked a little brown. I decided to skip the lettuce rather than ask him to pick from the left hand bin and embarrass them. I also saw a black speck in the onion bin. It probably was nothing but I decided to skip onions just to be safe. I chose tomatoes, Swiss cheese, pickles and sweet peppers. The debit card reader asks if I want to tip. I skipped that. Price was reasonable. Hoagie was okay. The roll was soggy. Philly hoagie shops pride themselves on their rolls. I understand this is Florida, not Philly. I can appreciate this place is popular and busy. However, being asked for my order 3 times by the same experienced worker there left me feeling less than special as a customer.

FIVE STARS. GAS STATION? YES. GAS STATION? ALSO YES…read more Let's get something straight. Some of the best food on earth comes from places that look like you shouldn't trust them. Gas stations. Side streets. Tiny counters with three tables and a refrigerator humming in the corner. I saw WhatSub on Yelp and thought, "Alright. Let's see if the hype survives State Road 7." It didn't just survive. It flexed. I am fully on board with five-star gas station cuisine. In fact, I seek it out. And WhatSub doesn't just play the game -- it competes internationally. This place comes dangerously close to Sandwich Master in Turin, Italy. I'm not exaggerating. And it narrowly beats out Generoso's in Coral Springs, which is not an easy feat. The bread? Legit. The meats? Layered like someone actually respects the architecture of a sandwich. The balance? No soggy mess. No overkill. No amateur hour. And then the cannoli. Freshly piped. Not pre-filled. Not sitting there getting sad and humid. Fresh. Filled to order. Shell still crisp. Ricotta smooth and balanced -- not overly sweet, not grainy, not lazy. Best cannoli I've had in South Florida since Lorenzo's in North Miami Beach. That's not a casual comparison. That's a statement. Now let's talk atmosphere. It's technically in a gas station plaza -- and yet the owners and staff are actually speaking Italian behind the counter. Not performative. Not touristy. Just normal conversation like you accidentally stepped into a deli in Torino. It feels real. So real that I went back the next day. And then again. I am not joking. When I ask myself, "What was my favorite thing?" the answer is dangerous: Everything I ordered. Cold subs. Hot subs. Cannoli. Repeat. This is the kind of place you almost don't want to write about because once the word spreads, lines get longer and secrets disappear. But credit where credit is due. WhatSub is proof that greatness doesn't need chandeliers. Sometimes it just needs good bread, proper technique, and someone who actually cares.

Came here because I saw it was a new Italian sub shop near my area. Saw good reviews and wanted to…read moretry it myself. Behind the counter was a husband/wife duo who were the business owners (didn't get their names) who stated they were from Sicily. After much deliberation, I decided to order the Arthur Ave and the Milano. The Arthur Ave is a cold sandwich that had prosciutto, arugula, stracciatella, sun dried tomato. You have a choice of bread from white, wheat rolls, and focaccia. I was informed by the husband the focaccia is made fresh daily by his wife so of course I had to try that. The wife was nice enough to let me try a sample of the prosciutto and I have to say -- it was delicious, so getting it on a sandwich was going to be a no-brainer. The Milano was for my father. Watching them make the sandwich, they put two huge pieces of chicken cutlet, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and freshly sliced mozzarella. Again, I got the focaccia bread. Both sandwich's were drizzled on the top of the focaccia bread with fresh Italian olive oil which was just the cherry on top. I had told the owners it was my first time and we had a great conversation, that they were nice enough to give me and my parents 3 free mini cannolis -- which was completely unexpected and highly appreciated! As far as the food goes, I don't have enough adjectives in my vocabulary to describe how delicious this sandwich was. From the delicious meats, the fresh veggies, and my personal favorite part -- that focaccia bread. I would buy that alone. They had specials on their menu the day I went that was a not on their menu -- a meatball sub and arancini balls. Also, keep in mind, that this shop is inside the Mobil gas station on 441 and SW 18th. There is a sign on the outside of the gas station, but if you're driving by and unsure of the location, I can confirm it is inside the Mobil. Overall, a great experience; delicious food, great people behind the counter. Only caveat I would say is it is a little bit higher price for a sandwich, but with the current economy where a McDonalds burger is over 10 bucks, you truly get what you pay for and that is top quality, fresh and delicious food. Will definitely be coming back here in the future.
