I think the food, service, and ambience were fantastic. The man at the counter helped me select what he thought was the best on the menu. Both items were delicious. I highly recommend this place. Boca really needed a true gem like this.

This place is amazing! Definitely coming back! The food was so good, it brings back memories! The staff are well versed with the menu and the service was great! The inside smells so good and they have seating outside too!

Amazing authentic Venezuelan restaurant. The empanadas, arepas and cachapas were on point! Don't miss the spotted queen or "Reina Pepiada"! Worth it!

I'm in town visiting some friend and I was looking for Venezuelan food, found this place through a google search and headed there for breakfast. They have a large variety of Venezuelan dishes. Food was fresh, delicious and well made. The staff is very friendly and we were greeted as soon as we got there. Service was fast and the restaurant looks very clean and organized. They even have a small "market" area where you can buy a variety of Venezuelan treats including fresh cheese and other frozen meals. Very pleased with my experience at this place.

Food was good, not great. Staff was very friendly, but didn't speak any English, so it was a little tough to order. I still would go back.

Ordered a chicken arepa and a chicken empanada to go. Both the food and sauces were delicious and full of flavor.

If you're looking to experience authentic Venezuelan cuisine in Boca Raton, this restaurant is a…read moremust-visit. Their patacones are absolutely the best, my favorite is with "plátano maduro", packed with flavor. But that's not all - their Arepas cabimeras are equally impressive, a perfect blend of savory goodness. If you haven't try Chicha this is the place, you will love it. What sets this place apart, aside from the amazing food, is the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The owners are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. Whether you choose to dine in and enjoy the cozy ambiance or opt for the convenience of delivery, you're guaranteed a fantastic experience. For sure the best spot to try Venezuelan food in Boca Raton - I highly recommend it!

The food? A solid 5. The service? Maybe a 3 on a good day…read more When I went to check out, I noticed the prices on my bill were higher than what was listed on the menu. I asked for an itemized receipt, and sure enough, some items had been rung up differently. The person at the counter explained that they recently started using Uber Eats, and the upcharged prices were only meant to be for people ordering from Uber--not in the restaurant. He had to call his manager to fix it, so I waited while they sorted it out. I appreciated that they did correct the issue, but it was a bit confusing. But this part of the experience did feel misleading to customers in general. After paying, the cashier went to the back and didn't return for a while. We weren't offered water or drinks while we waited for the food, and when I tried to get someone's attention from the front desk, no one came. Eventually, someone from the kitchen kindly helped us out--huge thanks to her! The food itself was fantastic, and I'd absolutely come back in hopes that it was just an off day. The space inside felt a little quiet and low-energy, and the young man at the counter didn't seem super enthusiastic--but everyone has those days. All in all, great food with room to grow on the service side. I'll definitely give it another try.

I've driven by El Patio countless times and always said to my husband "we gotta check this place…read moreout". Well we finally did. Once for soup and cappuccino around 2:30 and the last time for an early dinner around 4pm. On both occasions the restaurant was immaculate. And so was the gender less bathroom. The service was efficient and warm, and both servers preferred to speak in Spanish. And that's fine. Their menu shows Mexican dishes as well as Colombian dishes. And then everything else. Our soup the first time was a special. Pumpkin soup right before Halloween. It's a huge bowl and I mean huge not large. It was served hot as requested but was delicious. Our sit down meal was a breaded chicken breast with three - yes - 3 sides! The mashed potatoes were creamy. The yucca was boiled and delicious. We also had a mini chicken empanada in a corn outer. It had a touch of sweetness and was a treat for my tastebuds. I had the broiled salmon in their special sauce. The salmon was prepared closer to well done than any other heat and it was as requested. I'll order that again. Our eyes were bigger than our tummy's because when the chicken soup and veggies came, we asked that it be wrapped to go. There was a 1/4 chicken wing and foot in the container. Again, oversized. At $20+ it could be considered pricey. But once you saw how many ingredients there were and that think of chicken you're feeling it was worth it. We will return without question.

When you walk inside of Gusticos, you instantly feel like you're in a little store in Venezuela. Looking around, the smells, products, "chucherias". They're all a staple of the flavors of Venezuela. Gusticos Bistro is husband and wife owned and they were a pleasure to chat with. They work so hard and truly deserve all the small business love. We ordered the arepa vegana, mandocas and a cachapa with a maltin polar malta to share. My favorite thing here is that they bring you little fried mini arepitas with nata as a little something to share. This already makes the whole experience so awesome. The arepa was gigantic and super filled and of course almost impossible to eat without making a mess haha but we loved it. The cachapa was delicious, sweet and savory. The mandocas were pretty good too but I will have to say my grandmas are my grandma's hehe. They have a wide selection of just about any and all of the Venezuelan antojitos you can want. From tequeños to empanadas, cachitos to tostones, this place has everything that brings you back to Venezuela. It was so awesome getting to visit this Venezuelan spot, feeling the warm and welcoming environment all while getting to enjoy delicious and generous food.

My family called the restaurant for a pick up and ordered several half chickens and one grilled pork with the friendly staff. Both entrees came with rice, black beans, sweet plantains and a soda for $14.00 - good deal I thought. Twenty minutes later, we drove to the restaurant to get my food and make payment. The floors were clean and the kitchen was spotless. We met with the friendly three counter employees and went over each item then paid. Everything was prepared well and in order. We loaded up on three different sauces and used the self serve soda machine. Im watching the rotisserie slow cook five chickens on a giant stainless steel skewer - drool was dripping down my mouth and couldnt wait to get home. So I get to my place and excitedly unwrap my food. The portions were large and they provide a substantial amount of rice and beans (unlike Pollo Tropical). Unfortunately, my kids grilled pork was tough but my 1/2 chicken was super plump and juicy. I mixed up the beans and rice and gently poured the green hot sauce onto the pile - omg it was so tasty. The plantains were sweet and tender - I devoured six. Very good customer service and the food was ready in a timely manner. Definately recommend this La Granja Boca Raton location.
