Not a fan. Very loud music. Could hardly talk and these inexplicable , very annoying flashing neon lights Ordered ropa vieja and it had boiled red pepper strips. It came in a bowl that was very soupy and full of broth. It's possible that some ethnicities make it that way but it was under "Cuban dishes" and I've never been to a Cuban restaurant that made ropa vieja like that. I didn't even finish half of it. I've driven by El Patio countless times and always said to my husband "we gotta check this place out". Well we finally did. Once for soup and cappuccino around 2:30 and the last time for an early dinner around 4pm. On both occasions the restaurant was immaculate. And so was the gender less bathroom. The service was efficient and warm, and both servers preferred to speak in Spanish. And that's fine. Their menu shows Mexican dishes as well as Colombian dishes. And then everything else. Our soup the first time was a special. Pumpkin soup right before Halloween. It's a huge bowl and I mean huge not large. It was served hot as requested but was delicious. Our sit down meal was a breaded chicken breast with three - yes - 3 sides! The mashed potatoes were creamy. The yucca was boiled and delicious. We also had a mini chicken empanada in a corn outer. It had a touch of sweetness and was a treat for my tastebuds. I had the broiled salmon in their special sauce. The salmon was prepared closer to well done than any other heat and it was as requested. I'll order that again. Our eyes were bigger than our tummy's because when the chicken soup and veggies came, we asked that it be wrapped to go. There was a 1/4 chicken wing and foot in the container. Again, oversized. At $20+ it could be considered pricey. But once you saw how many ingredients there were and that think of chicken you're feeling it was worth it. One of the few places open till 11 pm on the weekend! We called for takeout a little before 10 pm, They had it ready in 20 minutes. It is owner operated and both owners were there, & both care about your business! The dining had an inviting atmosphere w cute decor and Colombian. We just dined at El Patio Boca. Unfortunately, it was not good. I ordered the Bandeja Paisa, my wife ordered a shrimp meal and our daughter ordered chicken nuggets and fries. Our daughter had the best meal. My pork belly was inedible. The fried egg was completely cooked through. When I asked about the pork belly, they offered to replace it with a chorizo. The place wasn't busy. This can only mean the kitchen doesn't care and no one is checking the food before it goes to the table. We were very disappointed. The drinks were good but that's a low bar. Still paid full price plus tip. We will not be coming back. Recommend you avoid. read more

The food was so good and the server was so nice and helpful. The fresh passion fruit juice and orange juice were great. We also got a chicken and cheese empanada and the Chicharron con arepa pequena for an appetizer and bandeja paisa and ajiaco chicken soup for our meals. Everything was great and the portions were huge so there was enough for leftovers. There's a counter in the front where you can order something quick to go and a shelf full of Colombian snacks. This is the kind of place you want to support. Two small complaints. The green wall makes it difficult to use all of the booth space. This is probably some of the best colombian food I've had. I order almost weekly on Doordash and have never had a problem. Their portions are huge, big enough to share. After about 2 hours in the gym, and with only coffee and water in my system since I woke up, I was HUNGRY! I needed food ASAP! I was told of this new place and since it wasn't far, we decided to keep the healthy kick and walk. I was glad to see the sign and that they were not busy. Must have been around 11am, so breakfast rush had passes and lunch not yet happening. We debated if to eat there or take out but, my tummy wanted food fast so we stayed there. Looking at the menu, they had Colombian, Venezuelan and some other Latin dishes. Empanadas, arepas, sandwiches... Not a big menu but you'll be sure to find something you like. I wanted eggs. Since their eggs came with toast or arepa, and I was avoiding the carbs, I asked to substitute it with avocado. Now, this place is a mini market too, so all she had to do was grab an avocado and add to our dish. So we had the Scrambled eggs with onions and tomatoes, added ham and cheese (these came on the side) and slices of avocado. It was exactly was I was craving. Really good eggs, well-seasoned, not salty, and good portion. Even with the additions we made to our breakfast service was fast and very friendly. We got some coffees too, and on our way out grabbed some eggs and avocados for the week. How convenient is that?!!? We were able to skip the Publix run. Speaking of the market, they offer milk, eggs, some fruits and vegetables, drinks like soda, water, beer, wine, and some Latin specialty foods. El Atico, a new Latin spot with a hip vibe going on. I saw this place driving by one day a week ago and notes, I should try the new place. So today after being st the gym, I stopped in. It was what I expected and at the same time not what I expected. I knew it was half market and half cafe(it's in the name after all), but I didn't expect it to look so sharp. The place, as I walked in, had the market to the left. Designed in modern wood and steel look, it looked clean and bright. There was a lot of produce. Each sitting in its own basket to choose from. To the right was the checkout and the cafe. I grabbed a table and was quick to order. I got the Huevos pericos(scrambled eggs with tomato and onion). I also got some chorizo and avocado slices. Yeah, a healthy day. It was perfect. It was just how I like. The avocado was fresh and the eggs were delectable. I actually bought a few groceries on my way out. Why not be convenient. I left, quite happy. I'm lucky this spot is close to me, I plan to be back often. read more
