    Cebiche

Small, take out Peruvian ceviche restaurant - the owner makes the ceviche from corvina family of fish which is never frozen and cooked thru with lime juice. The cebiche chiclayano with corn fritters was served in a paper cup, fresh as I've ever tasted. The adobo sandwich was also good. Also recommend one of the drinks, either the cebada or the chicha morada (purple corn drink, slightly sweet) which was delicious. The tiny restaurant is toward the back of a small court yard with a few informal tables outside for sitting and eating while watching beach-goers saunter on their way to the shore a few blocks away.

We popped in today for the grand opening. The owner gets 5 stars for enthusiasm and friendliness! This is a takeout only place. It was clean, and there were 2 tables outside in front. We tried several items: *The Cerbiche Chiciayano aka cerviche with corn fritters. This was fresh Corvina "cooked" in lime juice. It also had a few slices of red onion and slices of sweet potatoes. It tasted fresh and delicious. I would have liked it better if it included some corn. The corn fritters were tasty, flat, and light. Two came with the order. *Adobo Sanwich made with St Louis Pork Rib Meat. It came on a roll/hamburger type bun with sweet potatoes on the sandwich, nothing on the side. It was a tasty sandwich. *Cebada. It's made with barley, horse tail, flaxseed, and pineapple. This was the first time I have ever had this drink. It was good, but very sweet. If you like cerviche and are heading to the beach, give it a try. The owner said she's planning to add papa la huancaina. I will be back for that.

If you're not getting your Peruvian ceviche before you hit the beach, what are you doing??Seriously so fresh and the texture is perfect. Has the best little crunch. I'm in love. And Lily is the sweetest. Just go to atleast meet her. And she gave me some flax seed drink, I can't remember the name but omg so good. Loved this spot and will come back!

This restaurant has the best cebiche!! Remind me of my dad's cebiche when he used to make it for me.

Excellent Cebiche. Can't beat the location - nothing better than having Cebiche right after or at the beach.

If all of that is not enough the Adobo sandwich was delicious.

We asked which ceviche is their best and she recommended the Ceviche Mixto. It was ready just a few minutes after and we walked over to the beach to enjoy it. She packaged it nicely to make sure nothing spilled. And the crunchy corn was packaged separately so it wouldn't get soggy. Thoughtful! It was super delicious! Nice mix of different fish, it was citrusy, oniony, crunchy from the corn. Everything I wanted in a ceviche. Definitely recommend!

Our family tried a variety of dishes, starting with the Jalea, a fried seafood platter. While the portion was smaller than what you typically find at other Peruvian restaurants, the seafood was fresh. I just wish there had been more calamari, fish, shrimp, and fried yucca. We also ordered the Chicken (Pollo) Chaufa and the Seafood Chaufa. Both dishes came in small portions, and the seafood was only placed on top of the rice. Sadly, they lacked the distinctive Chaufa flavor and tasted a bit bland. The Lomo Saltado beef was tender but similarly lacked seasoning, and the Ají Amarillo was just okay. On a positive note, the service was excellent, and the ambiance felt warm and inviting. It seems the food might have been adjusted to cater to a more traditional or less adventurous palate. Peruvian cuisine is renowned for its rich flavors and Asian influences, and I believe it has the potential to be truly exceptional.

My boyfriend and I tried the ceviche called Cholo Power, the lomo saltado and the risotto huancaina lomo saltado. To start we had canchas which were nice and warm with a spicy but yummy sauce. The ceviche tasted fresh, the sauce was delicious to the last drop. The lomo saltado was juicy and tasty, the fries were crunchy and they served the rice on the side. My favorite was the risotto huancaina lomo saltado. I would say it's the best risotto I've ever had at a Peruvian restaurant. Our server Fabio was knowledgeable and kind. He made a great recommendation for our main course. Overall I recommend and will be coming back. Food was so good only got one photo. You'll just have to try it (:

This had us a bit nervous because we both live far away and the drive there- etc. but in the end we made it so all Good. There were open tables at lunch time, so I feel that asking for a cc was a bit extra, maybe an opportunity for improvement. Well we arrived and the place is located on a big plaza with sufficient parking on both sides, no problems there: right next to the Turnpike! Which made it great for a meet up for old friends who live in Jupiter and Broward: this worked. It is a large locale with tables both inside and a large outside terrace that was also Very welcoming. We chose the inside area. The decor is upscale and the noise level is low: great for all our conversations. There is background music so the lunch "scene" is very smooth and nicely suave. Our waiter was always attentive and handy and ready to take our order and suggest many of the dishes in the menu. They were so gracious they even sang happy birthday to me when they found out I was celebrating! Anyway we decided to share appetizer and entree - wanted to make it to the cake- so for starters we shared a "Conchitas à la Parmesana". (Coquille sort-of st jaques with a twist) (for the purist) as these had some bechamel sauce and some mozzarella in addition to the customary parmesan cheese. They were delicious! But not quite the "traditional" way we were expecting. Still: we licked our fingers and enjoyed For the main course we shared a "lomito saltado con tallarines en salsa huancaina". Let me say here that I had my doubts. Spaghetti in huancaina sauce? Who would have thought they would be so delicious! The sauce is a cheese mix with the yellow Peruvian aji- but it was not "hot", just flavorful and with a delicious aroma. The chunks of meat of the "lomito" we cooked to perfection, and the combination was just SO GOOD! Oh and the portion size was Abundant so we were glad we shared as we wanted to Make it to dessert So ... there is a dessert menu! So many choices... but I was determined and chose the chocolate cake. Peruvian chocolate cake is something else. I crave it. It has some dulce de leche in the middle and creamy hot fudge flowing from the top... yummmmm We were already full before the cake... but how could we not devour it! It was scrumptious! Anyway... it is already 6 pm, as I write this review- I am still full- and here I am wishing for more chocolate cake... or more of the spaghetti with the huancaina sauce... or both! We are definitely going back for more. Enjoy!

The octopus specially tasted so good. 10/10 Now for our mains, I ordered the rissotto à la huancaina con lomo, the risotto was too salty and overcooked. The meat was good, very flavorful. 6/10 My partner ordered the Fettucine al pesto con lomo, the fettucine was lacking some sauce, the meat was cooked good though. 0 complains about the meats but yeah pasta was a little dry. 7/10 And our friend ordered a bowl which you can't really go wrong with that. The cocktails were very good and our server was lovely. We had higher expectations. Maybe it was an off day.
