While waiting for some repairs, we stopped here for lunch as it was nearby. It was not very busy which was good as we were hungry. It's casual. No fancy dining here. There are tables and booths. You order at the counter. The menu is on the wall. You pay there, too. They bring your food to you on a tray. They give you paper plates and plastic ware. We shared a half chicken -- all white. We got yellow rice and black beans and plantains as our sides. The chicken was cooked through. The pieces (breast-wing combo) didn't look very large but they had more than enough meat on them. The yellow rice was tender. The black beans rather bland. The plantains were sweet, but I liked them cooked a bit more. My husband got pico de gallo as his sauce -- which was basically onions with cilantro. I got their cilantro sauce which tasted like cilantro mixed with mayonnaise. Drinks are self serve from the machine at the back of the restaurant. Not bad for a fast food lunch...

La Brasa Grill is a fast casual place that offers a menu of Peruvian dishes and are best known for their chicken dishes. I have been to this location several times in the past and have always enjoyed it and since I was in Boynton Beach on business, I thought this would be a great place for lunch and to get reacquainted with a place that I recall as a great place for a meal. I had mentioned that this is a "fast casual" place. If you are unfamiliar with the term, it is just a new buzz word to describe what we would have called a fast food place (though in their defense, this place is a lot cleaner than I remember fast food places in the wild days of my youth). Since I am trying to eat a bit healthier, I went with their boneless chicken with a Caesar salad and garlic potatoes for my sides. The ordering procedure is that you place your order at the counter and they give you a number and eventually will bring you your food. My food was brought out in a relatively quick amount of time and I have to say that it was pretty spectacular. As I said, I am trying to do a bit more healthier, and the boneless chicken breast was pretty good. My normal order at either this establishment or any of the other fast casual Peruvian restaurants is usually they're half chicken with rice and beans. The last time I had the half chicken here, it was amazing. Also, do not miss out on their homemade sauces. On this trip, I had the spicy garlic and the cilantro garlic and both were amazing. I would definitely recommend this establishment and I give it five stars for a stellar experience.

I love their chicken but their take out service is horrible. Once again I tried to order from them via Uber Eats and I keep getting something wrong with order. Today I order 2-1/2 chickens with white meat with 3 garlic parsley , and all white meat and did not get again This happens every frigging time when I ordered from west palm and I move to Boynton beach and they do the same thing

I got the fried seafood jalea. It comes with some cerviche-type sauce and tartar sauce. It's a bunch of fried seafood on top of yucca fries. Some tomatoes and lime/lemon for squeezing. I hadn't seen this dish at a Peruvian restaurant before. It was good for as basic as it is. I'd recommend it if you're in the mood for fried seafood and didn't want to go to a regular seafood joint.

Second la brasa I go to and once again , it knocks it out the park . Literally the best drive through food for Spanish dishes . Totally bomb food ; great prices , and awesome sauces to go with it . The spicy sauce has got great heat , and great flavor that goes well with the dishes . Totally recommend this spot and really any la brasa

I recently came back with a friend for oysters, clams, and drinks, and we sat at the bar for the evening. The oysters, clams, and mussels were absolutely delicious. I originally ordered a Grey Goose martini before realizing they only serve beer and wine, so I switched to a Chardonnay, which was great. The experience was nostalgic in the best way. I know the ownership has changed since I first came here, but I was so happy to hear the cook is still the same! It really brought back memories. We had a fun night overall -- although I may have slightly annoyed the bartender by asking her to take photos of us (they didn't come out too well under the lighting). Before we left, another server kindly helped us take a few away from the lights, and those turned out much better. All in all, I'm really glad I came back to give J and J's another whirl. The food was fresh and delicious, the atmosphere was warm and nostalgic, and it reminded me why I loved this place to begin with. You should give it a try too!

The husband-and-wife owners are clearly hands-on... stopping by tables, checking in with guests, and keeping a watchful eye on everything. It's obvious they care and truly want you to have a great time here. I called for a reservation and it was basically sold out... when they said they could take me at 5pm, I grabbed it. Was actually perfect as I was heading over to see the tennis tournament after dinner. On arrival, the place was empty. As expected, when we left, it was completely full. A half bottle of Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay was perfect with my lobster. The wine list isn't extensive, but it's well chosen and fairly priced. The food was excellent across the board. A special of Scallops, Crab Cake, topped with Shrimp over Vegetables was fantastic. My guest enjoyed the Clams Oreganata. I loved my Baked Stuffed Lobster (stuffed with crab), served with amazing Mashed Potatoes... and bonus points for a real hand towel after the lobster. Of course, I had to try the key lime pie... very good. Now I understand why this casual, unassuming spot is so popular... it hits on every note. I noticed a bunch of regulars dining at the bar, which looked perfect to me. The bar is walk-in only... so next time I don't have dinner plans, I'll remember I can just walk in and try for a seat. I'm sure I'll see two familiar faces... the owners, Anthony and Christine. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

As we approached the hidden entrance tucked under a portico, I noticed it was right next to a Jersey Mikes entrance which gave me pause for a second. Before I talk about the food I want to say that the young lady that was the bartender and server was so friendly and gave great suggestions. The restaurant is small, however it is beautiful inside and does offer outdoor seating as well. Now for the food. They bring out fresh hot rolls with a small plate of cheese pesto and balsamic drizzle. Outstanding!!!!! We came to find out the owner who is the chef, his wife is a pastry chef and makes the bread and desserts. To start we had the Spanish chargrilled octopus. I know I have said this before about other restaurants, but I can truly say hands-down. This was the freshest, most tender, and one of the most flavorful grilled octopus that we have had. It came with a mixture of capers, potatoes, and vegetables in an amazing sauce. Truly fantastic. For dinner, my wife had the blackened yellowtail snapper in curry sauce, and I had the shellfish pan roast. Both were one of a kind dishes. We have never had such great flavor and seafood. Not to mention the amount of food that they put out and the presentation is worthy of awards. My wife's blacked snapper was cooked perfectly had a light blackened coating, and the curry sauce was tremendous. My shellfish were super fresh. Again cooked to perfection, tender, and flavorful. The sauce they were in was amazing. For dessert, we tried their homemade Keylime pie, and this too was top-notch and made fresh. We are planning our next trip to this restaurant and if you actually want a true fine, dining seafood experience you have to try this spot. I'm going to say it is priced accordingly for the true quality of food, the amount you are served and the presentation. If you are looking for a fried shrimp basket or fish and chips, this is not the type of restaurant for you. This is upscale seafood, and a true upscale seafood experience. You might want to consider making reservations as they do get busy and as I mentioned earlier, it is a small restaurant.
