I looked up Spanish restaurant specifically because I was craving some good Spanish food during my break. This spot was better than my expectations and will definitely return again. The server spoke little English but her genuineness was easy to see despite our language barriers and her positive attitude made me take her recommendations, even their 2 for 1 happy hour modelos. Thank you El Atico for great first time experience. Ps they are located in a small plaza where some parking is available but not in abundance.

The service was fast and friendly, and even though the restaurant was fairly busy, our party of six was seated and rapidly attended on. I ordered the bandeja paisa, and it was an excellent choice. The portion was enormous far more food than I could finish in one sitting, and everything was satisfying and flavorful. One dish I would not recommend is the steak al caballo. It arrived covered in a tomato-based sauce that tasted very similar to ketchup, which wasn't what I expected and detracted from the dish. Overall, this is a solid choice for large groups, soccer fans looking to catch a game, and anyone craving hearty Colombian food. I'd definitely return for the atmosphere, service, and generous portions. .

I've ordered the Bandeja Paisa and somehow a dish that is usually packed with flavor is very dull and bland. Beans were lacking flavor and the Maduros were over cooked. The carne asada in the platter was pretty good but couldn't save the overall dish. Empanadas de carne also seemed overcooked and bland as well. I was able to try their empanadas de queso and they were good but the middle was still cold. Service wasn't the most attentive but they were polite. The restaurant is colorful and could be such a good spot to enjoy in Wellington/Royal Palm. Unfortunately, I would prefer to drive to the original location or go to their competition down the road.

The barista brewed me a nice single espresso which tasted good but the price at $4.25 was obnoxious and superseded the taste - again this was a single shot of coffee. I did appreciate the brown paper cup bearing the logo and also acknowledging that the coffee is locally roasted. The gender neutral bathroom was absolutely ultra contemporary with gray floor tiles and white rectangular wrap around wall tile with some potted greenery that popped against that gray, white and black color scheme.
