Fried snapper

Really enjoyed this place . I stumbled upon it while in the area . I opted to sit down for lunch and wasn't disappointed. Eats : I choose the classic ceviche and fried fish . Both were very delicious. Cooked really good and came out in a timely manner for me . Decor : the decor and seating inside is really nice Staff : The staff were nice and attentive . Any questions I had were answered throughly and received well. I wanted to go back today but the place was still closed at almost 12:30pm the online time states opening 11:30am . Luckily I was in the area and didn't travel far for the restaurant to be closed . I would definitely return

As I came back to Florida after many years of absence I stumbled upon this spot near my hotel. This is a well known establishment in Florida, and the Peruvian food here is to die for, their Arroz Chaufa with Mariscos, and Ceviche Mixto (of course) is spectacular. Upon arriving to door I was greeting by very friendly staff and was told to sit wherever, love that. The ambiance is very relaxed and casual, lots of locals in the area come here to enjoy the delicious items offered. Loved this restaurant, would highly recommend!

Corvina and shrimp ceviche with an array of yummy stuff

I don't get to Lighthouse Point often and when I do I usually head to The Fish Shack (review coming soon.) But a hot day made me crave something cool. Ceviche! And right up the way is Sr Ceviche. What a nice clean little place. The menu is well defined for us non Peruvians. I knew that I wanted fish and shrimp and they delivered. The choice was corvina and mahi. I chose corvina. The courteous server (I gotta remember to get their names) asked how spicy I desired. I replied, "spicy!". Ok he said with a wink. Also ordered a side of yucca fries. Omg it was some of the best ceviche I've ever had. And bountiful. Tart, juicy, tender. When I requested a go box for what I couldn't finish the server warned me that I shouldn't let it sit overnight as the lime juices would make the seafood tough the next day. He was right! I ate the rest for dinner and could tell that it had firmed up but still delicious. Sr Ceviche is a quaint welcoming place with an array of ceviche and other Peruvian dishes. I enjoyed it immensely.

Service was outstanding as soon as we walked through the door. Our server Elizabeth was polite, patient and very helpful through the whole experience. Food is amazing, came out quick. Nice set up and clean. Highly recommend.

Located in the same plaza with Burger Fi tucked away off of US1 is a delicate beautiful decorated Peruvian restaurant. For a late Thursday night I was saddened to see it empty. Staff was pleasant and attentive. The inside is well decorated to dress up or down. I personally like that you can go eithor way. We had the Ceviche Classic with Corvina and Tallerin Huancain Lomo The Tallerin Huancaina Lomo Saltado was excellent to the T it was a 10/10. The ceviche was so fresh and delicious!

Love me a Latin restaurant, even more when it's Peruvian! Came here for lunch on a weekend and it was pretty quiet which was great because we didn't have to wait to be seated. The food did not disappoint either. I naturally ordered my favorite Peruvian staple: the Lomo Saltado, which is a trifecta of rice, beef tenderloin and fries. Let's be honest, who wouldn't like that? 5 stars for great food, great service and all around good vibe!

We were the only guests on a Saturday afternoon. We received some nice recommendations from our waiter. The menu looked overwhelming and it was so hard to choose! Ceviche was pretty good, we upgraded for a different fish. Chef special mahi had a lot of green rice and a very interesting sweet sauce. Will come back to try more.

I have been coming to Sr Ceviche in LHP for a few years now and it has always been a really great quality place to stop and get lunch. Going back today, I found that their lunch menu was removed and all prices have been increased. The pounding EDM music and the slight decorative changes of wine bottles and a candle on the table don't justify the menu changes made, it's still the same food. The outdoor patio chairs for indoor dining are uncomfortable. This has become a dinner only establishment unfortunately and service has slowed down immensely. Likely my last time here unfortunately. Posting this as management needs to know how they have drastically changed the experience for their consumers.

Food is great but do not place your order for pick up through yelp because the place doesn't use grubhub.

We asked which ceviche is their best and she recommended the Ceviche Mixto. It was ready just a few minutes after and we walked over to the beach to enjoy it. She packaged it nicely to make sure nothing spilled. And the crunchy corn was packaged separately so it wouldn't get soggy. Thoughtful! It was super delicious! Nice mix of different fish, it was citrusy, oniony, crunchy from the corn. Everything I wanted in a ceviche. Definitely recommend!

Our family tried a variety of dishes, starting with the Jalea, a fried seafood platter. While the portion was smaller than what you typically find at other Peruvian restaurants, the seafood was fresh. I just wish there had been more calamari, fish, shrimp, and fried yucca. We also ordered the Chicken (Pollo) Chaufa and the Seafood Chaufa. Both dishes came in small portions, and the seafood was only placed on top of the rice. Sadly, they lacked the distinctive Chaufa flavor and tasted a bit bland. The Lomo Saltado beef was tender but similarly lacked seasoning, and the Ají Amarillo was just okay. On a positive note, the service was excellent, and the ambiance felt warm and inviting. It seems the food might have been adjusted to cater to a more traditional or less adventurous palate. Peruvian cuisine is renowned for its rich flavors and Asian influences, and I believe it has the potential to be truly exceptional.

There is supposed to be a happy hour from 4-7, but we didn't get the discount on our drinks when the bill arrived. She definitely tried to upsell us on additonal items which i get, but this wasn't my first time here so we came with the intent of taking full advantage of the specials. Again though, the ceviches is the best in the entire area that I've had. The mixto in particular is my jam as it presents to limey and juicy and the chilled sweet potato is perfectly cooked. The corn snacks are delightfullly crunchy. The calamari frita side addition for $3 more is worth it to have something cooked to compliment the cold dish. My daughter also highly recommends the chicha morada. The cinnamon and other warm spices are in the background, but pleasantly supportive of the sweet purple corn and tangy lime juices. They both excellent outdoor seating options and very cleanly decorated interior dining options.

Here's the breakdown: * Pork bao ($3 Monday night special!) - fluffy little pillows of joy. * Pisco sours - dangerously easy to drink and delicious. * Mussels appetizer - flavorful and shareable. * Mains: the grilled octopus/shrimp with potatoes? Yes, please. The crispy duck? Not so crispy... and a little overcooked. Duck sadness. Luckily, dessert redeemed everything--the Lucuma ice cream was so good it deserves its own fan club. The vibe inside is gorgeous too--great decor makes you want to linger just a little longer. Final verdict: overall a 4.5, but let's be real, we're rounding up to 5 because anything less would feel stingy.

Example I ordered the New Sapporo kai Roll, it was supposed to have been topped with crabmeat, it was lightly dusted nor does it say it was spicy and it was spicy. The lomo roll was also a real disappointment. This is not a cheap restaurant so quality needs to be there. We got our food never saw the server again for another 35 minutes, looked as though there was one server with assistants that didn't speak or understand English that well. This had us a bit nervous because we both live far away and the drive there- etc. but in the end we made it so all Good. There were open tables at lunch time, so I feel that asking for a cc was a bit extra, maybe an opportunity for improvement. Well we arrived and the place is located on a big plaza with sufficient parking on both sides, no problems there: right next to the Turnpike! Which made it great for a meet up for old friends who live in Jupiter and Broward: this worked. It is a large locale with tables both inside and a large outside terrace that was also Very welcoming. We chose the inside area. The decor is upscale and the noise level is low: great for all our conversations. There is background music so the lunch "scene" is very smooth and nicely suave. Our waiter was always attentive and handy and ready to take our order and suggest many of the dishes in the menu. They were so gracious they even sang happy birthday to me when they found out I was celebrating! Anyway we decided to share appetizer and entree - wanted to make it to the cake- so for starters we shared a "Conchitas à la Parmesana". (Coquille sort-of st jaques with a twist) (for the purist) as these had some bechamel sauce and some mozzarella in addition to the customary parmesan cheese. They were delicious! But not quite the "traditional" way we were expecting. Still: we licked our fingers and enjoyed For the main course we shared a "lomito saltado con tallarines en salsa huancaina". Let me say here that I had my doubts. Spaghetti in huancaina sauce? Who would have thought they would be so delicious! The sauce is a cheese mix with the yellow Peruvian aji- but it was not "hot", just flavorful and with a delicious aroma. The chunks of meat of the "lomito" we cooked to perfection, and the combination was just SO GOOD! Oh and the portion size was Abundant so we were glad we shared as we wanted to Make it to dessert So ... there is a dessert menu! So many choices... but I was determined and chose the chocolate cake. Peruvian chocolate cake is something else. I crave it. It has some dulce de leche in the middle and creamy hot fudge flowing from the top... yummmmm We were already full before the cake... but how could we not devour it! It was scrumptious! Anyway... it is already 6 pm, as I write this review- I am still full- and here I am wishing for more chocolate cake... or more of the spaghetti with the huancaina sauce... or both! We are definitely going back for more. Enjoy!
